I wonder if you are just arguing for the sake of arguing at this point, and I dont want to feed it, but no, in fact, there are two indications I have mentioned at least twice now that leads me to think a significant number of their adds are indeed ghosts. One is the sheer number of them, the other is 'other information given to me.' You never asked what the other info is, you just proceed to attack my thesis. It seems particularly odd behavior given that we both agree it's not really a big deal they are doing this. So why go to so much trouble to deny it? I suspect that would be an accurate estimate, if I had a nonstop stream of very competent attackers and made no efforts to minimize my costs. In reality they'll probably find it difficult enough to sustain a stream of sacrificial staggers without insisting on competency, even within the first month or two. Everyone wants to be the big bully and puff their chest out and push people around, but when it comes down to the reality of it, keeping a steady flow of attackers for an extended period of time in any war is difficult. When the target you are trying to get people to hit is a particularly formidable one, that makes it more difficult. When the war you are fighting is a pointless aggression waged solely to salve the wounded pride of your leader, it will be even more difficult. Oh, and I've also been down this road a few times before, and I do know how to minimize my costs as well. So that estimate is definitely... let's just say it's ultraconservative. Do I have to remind you all that this is the OOC forum? Because I would certainly not be discussing this in this way if it were not. But the fact is there is absolutely nothing you can do to harm me directly. You can attack me all you want, you're just helping me turn one type of pixels (money) into a better type of pixels (casualties) and there is no way that can go wrong for me. If I was the sort that thinks the game is all about collecting pixels and building that nation, you'd have a very hard time getting peace from me. I have absolutely no personal motive to consider it. But that's not how I play, I am playing it as a political game, not a war game. I follow my code and I do what I believe is right, not necessarily what benefits me personally.
