Uncouth?! It's absolutely brilliant that he was able to even accomplish something like that in the first place. Methrage brought it on himself by falling for such a Trojan Horse tactic. I mean...literally! It was the collapse of Troy! The fact that Limitless Nexus gave him THAT MUCH power so immediately and so utterly is so unbelievable it's comic.  Uncouth?! Hardly...such deviousness was purely infernal in its execution and divine in its success.  Yes, the joke is on us for trusting someone I've fought for within the last few weeks and we've held a treaty with for almost a year. There is no level Kashmir won't stoop to and I was foolish to think they were any different from GOONS.  No Methrage. Kashmir DOES have its standards, which is why this current conflict is happening in the first place. It's also a good sign of the depths of deviousness you'd be facing if you choose to join in to support the "Monsters Inc Police Action". Sephiroth Posted June 19, 2015 Report Share Posted June 19, 2015 (edited) It was better Jack Layton proved himself untrustworthy by doing something as fixable as kicking my members, rather than me getting my alliance into another damaging war for him without knowing the loyalty wasn't there. So I'll admit I shouldn't of trusted him that fast, however it was by giving him that power I was able to see him for who he truly is. Better to deal with the mess he caused now, rather than to mistake him for someone I can trust in the future. Â I didn't expect him to do it and the betrayal felt deep, however now I don't regret it at all. I've washed my hands of my ties with him and illusions of friendship. Now that I think of the big picture, it was in my favor I gave him the chance to prove his disloyalty before he could of done longer lasting damage. You make it sound like a high profile and elaborately executed plan on the level of Troy, when in reality it was clearly born on a napkin and was more or less guaranteed success given his relationship within the rabblesphere and Methrage's poor alliance management policies. If it was some crafted plan over the course of months or years, that's one thing. This was just something done for entertainment and to give the masses who are in these threads spewing out their support of either side something to get uppity about. I can almost hear JL looking at the OWF and asking "are you not entertained?"
