Logan Finn
I once had 15 people in my alliance, and now I only have 10. How can I get people to join my alliance and be loyal? How can I convince someone through recruiting?
Auctor
Not to be rude, but a big part of nation retention is creating an atmosphere of development that makes it rewarding for members to participate in. People are more likely to want to be part of an alliance that they can grow their nations in and hang out with cool people at.I suggest setting up mechanisms to train your active members to sell tech. That's a great source of growth and development that gives your members something to do other than just logging in. You should also work at getting them into trade rings - particularly a 3BR set like[Wheat, Fish] [Cattle, Pigs] [Iron, Lumber] [Marble, Aluminum] [Sugar, Spices] [Water, Uranium]This is widely considered the best static set for growing nations, although it may be worth it to you to substitute Gems for Uranium since your nations don't have the capacity for nuclear weapons yet. Getting people trade sets and getting them tech deals will help you all grow your nations and that's just more fun.Recruiting can be hit and miss, but fostering an environment that people want to stay in and be a part of pays off big. Razgriz24
That wasn't rude, that is solid advice. Creating an atmosphere will help with almost anything in life... havent you ever got to 3rd base Auctor? Tech deals will inspire activity and of course growth, trade circles can do nothing but help especially with a growing nation/alliance. IRC chit chats and decent forums are also nice!
