What happens when you don't pay your bills?

I own two countries, one main one, and one for Youtube.

In both of my nations I am too poor to pay my bills, and my tech and infrastructure levels are extremely low, and my military level in one is causing riots.

Day 5 of being too poor

When you don't pay your bills over the short term: A small amount of interest is charged on that amount. Over the longer term, if you don't pay your bills for enough days, the bill avoidance penalty kicks in -- which reduces collections by some amount, up to 100%. (I know it does that by 90 days inactive.)

Also, having multiple nations is a big no-no and is likely to get you in trouble with the mods. Edited by Sakura

I feel the ban hammer is coming.

Was nice knowing you.

Anyway, assuming you don't get ban hammered, it's a good idea to either pay bills daily or whenever it's most efficient (like if you're improvement swapping/trade swapping) and collect taxes every 20 days but no later.

Also, as a new nation, your primary source of income should be tech dealing.
