"Attention citizens of the Glorious Soviet Union please stand ready to receive words from our great leader Premier Alexander Cherdenko" stated the announcer across all television and radio stations.

"Citizens of the Glorious Soviet Union, today marks a momentous day for all of us as we mark the first true step in advancing our nation's glory by affirming our will on the land and its people. Working together and obediently under the party's leadership will ensure that we all achieve our greatest potential and advance the cause of the people.

Now I know many of you are worried about the current state of the world but I will assure you that there is nothing to fear. The other nations for the world are weak, cowardly creatures too focused on their own personal money and power to ever grow to be a threat to the grand Soviet Union. Our only true enemy that could cause some problems are the Tsarists to our west but worry not for our glorious soldiers of the Soviet Army will trample and crush our enemies.

Even now further battle groups are being sent to the western front to reinforce the soldiers already there in holding off and defeating our Tsarist foes. Let us all wish and pray for their success and take heart from their valor and example and work to our very hardest.

Glory to the people, glory to the Soviet Union".

As the Premier had said further soldiers and military equipment was being transported to the western front, columns of soldiers advanced along the roads while tanks and artillery weapons would travel first by train then under their own power to the front. The soldier son the western front lien itself would fortify their positions with lines of trenches, bunkers, minefields and firing positions. Morale was high among the Soviet soldiers but none of them really knew exactly what to expect in the days to come.

"It is no surprise that the Bolshevik menace still tries to spread their toxic system to the free West. The Tsardom of Russia does not recognize the Soviet Union."

---

While so far on the new border a stalemate had been reached the recent Soviet movements made it clear they were planning a renewed offensive. Additional forces would be deployed to the region while orders were issued to construct defences as well as other barriers.

"Massachusetts recognizes the Union, and is interested in engaging in foreign relations."

"The Polish Governing Committee recognizes the Soviet Union and is open to discussing trade and diplomatic relations with the Union."

"Representatives from Massachusetts and the Polish Governing Committee are welcome in the city of Novosibirsk, the grand capital of the Soviet Union. The Premier personally looks forward to meeting with the representatives."

While transportation of the Soviet military might to the west was still carrying on and would be for some time, for you could not move such large numbers in such short a time, those units that had already arrived were put to use in fortifying the defenses past the levels they were already maintained at. The Premier had stated that he wished to see an "iron curtain" all across the western border and the soldiery were quick to carry out his wishes. As engineers fortified and built new bunkers, firing pits and trenches the armoured divisions of the soviet armour were ordered to carry out constant practice and mock battles. While many of the soviet generals believed that massed numbers would be enough to win battles a select few were certain that experience and tactics would win the day. Perhaps time will tell exactly which group was right.

OOC: Unless stated as classified or it is obvious a private conversation then yeah its likely a public address.

"The Soviet Union would not require the creation of the iron curtain if it was not for the fiendish Tsarists who will likely wish to see all of Russia united under their iron fist. We will not allow this to happen under any circumstances. Until the Tsarists are destroyed the curtain will remain".

Today a special parade was held in the city of Novosibirsk as ten of the newly designed and created KV-1 heavy battle tanks were rolled out of the factories and paraded through out the city. The streets were full of patriotic citizens who waved, cheered and held flags of the Soviet Union as they celebrated this Soviet technological advancement. To help commemorate this special parade three flights of Soviet aircraft also flew over the parading tanks helping to show off the skills of the Soviet air force.  On the topic of the new tanks the Premier had the following to say:

"Today we show the world the might and skill of the Soviet Union, see how our glorious tanks roll through the streets. Their armour is far stronger than anything our enemies can throw at us and the might of the tank's guns will devastate our foes. Our enemies will weep in fear of our strength and rightfully so for soon more of these tanks will join the valiant forces already stationed on the western front."

Soviet recon planes have begun to fly out over the western front using cameras from high altitudes to photograph the battle ground below, occasionally the recon planes would fly at lower altitudes for more in depth and detailed photographs. These flights would be accompanied by fighter planes as escorts, these escorts would engage any enemy intercepting planes while the recon planes would withdraw. The fighters would only fight long enough for the recon planes to withdraw before withdrawing themselves.
