First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Everyone has friends in DBDC, few are friends with all of DBDC. One of the most overlooked factors of DBDCs greatness is its foreign affairs structure. They have someone who is an amazing friends/dual member with every sphere who serves as a liason. Surely they will never destroy SP&TR because of Bones. Surely they will never roll FEAR because of Vesp. Surely they will never roll Aztec because of SCM. Surely they will never roll tJL/AI because of WC. etc.

Victory is inevitable. If there is any that doubts, please stand up.

One thing that has defend the great leaders in Planet Bob history, is being able to convince others that they should do something that they would a) normally not do and b) do not particularly want to do. As I said, there is no really good leadership in this game today, but Cuba and TB outclass literally EVERYONE else.

Dude, I honestly respect you as a leader, but you really need to stop dick riding.

I also have a scheduled chat with Dajobo this evening where we should be able to work out an agreement to settle our differences.  Now that we have engaged in our plan and you have posted exactly what we assumed would happen and why we had to taken certain steps, I think he will be able to see things from our perspective a bit more clearly.

What are these differences? What is your perspective? Namely, what was the object of starting this war? What do you want to happen to Polaris?

What's the fun in answering questions like these in a public forum?  Some things are better said in closed company and I think this qualifies supremely.  When polaris is my enemy I want them to die in a ball of fire, like I do all my enemies.  Post-war though, I have no problem calling it done and moving on to other battlegrounds without prejudice.  I would hope the rest of my membership feels similarly, though there have been some heated opinions and some individuals might not be as forgiving.

If CN were a little league game someone would have called it by now, DBDC won, you can all quit now.

We're content to just nuke one of their nations forever, not much else we can do really

He isn't even DBDC.  He is DS who came over to ghost before they hit Invicta.  You do have good friends who kept you from being blown apart this war after chasing him to the DT AA.  I have a feeling it may come back to bite you in the future, but who thinks ahead like that?  I mean, its all about today right.

Lifetime on your knees vs a day on your feet etc etc.

Also the line between DBDC, DS and DT is so blurred I don't see how that's even a valid point, DT could have just ghosted DBDC like everybody else did to hit us.  I'm sure once again we're on some list somewhere of people to wipe off the face of the earth, but when haven't we been on that list.

Oh no RIA chased someone who was at war with them to another alliance.

Actually, they chased someone who was never at war with them.

I am glad you posted this thread.  I've been trying to convince Bones of your duplicitous nature and how you consistently attempt to drive a wedge between us and our mutual allies.

Forgiving of what?

I'm not asking to negotiate in public terms of ending this war, I just want to know why you started it. Normally there is a DoW and the reasons for starting it posted for all to see.

I looked and found no declaration of war by your alliance upon Polaris. I have been in this alliance since Jan '11 and all of the wars we have been involved in have been entirely defensive of self or allies. And in at least 2 of those major wars, they involved real or imagined grievances that took place long before most of our rank-and-file nations even existed -- and many of the current leadership also did not exist or were not in leadership positions.

So indeed I ask as a lowly grunt in the OWF: By all means enlighten us and the world as to what motivated you to call in nearly a dozen alliances to experience a cumulative loss of over 8 million in nation strength in the pursuit of...what?

Keep on saying that. One day, someone might believe you.

I shall add something to what walford said for clarity. The New polar Order that may have aggrieved those who are attacking us now includes NONE, the League of Free Nations and Vox Populi. We are here because the NpO of today shares the values of freedom of association, self-determination and abstaining from wars of conquest of those who are merely weaker. We are here to help each other in peace and defend each other in war. That is all of what we stand for since we have been in this alliance.

THAT is whom and what you are attacking today and we are in no humour to change in the face of violence, no matter how numerous and how strong our attackers are.

Since January of 2011, have we engaged in any offensive wars? Which ones?

Yes yes, behold Polaris, pure as the driven snow.

The last one springs to mind. No wait, that was 'preemptive retroactive defense' right. Edited by WorldConqueror

That is a rather shallow assessment of what I said, no? Let me distill it to its essence, then: I am saying that we are not the same New polar Order that is being punished for things that took place long before many of our nations were created.

That is a subject of some controversy, to be sure. I suppose that is why we demanded and got grovelling apologies from our former opponents, have Viceroys in all of their forums and still have our aid slots filled with the exorbitant reparations from our victims.

There has been nothing that states what NpO is being punished for nor whether it is indeed a 'punishment' rather than a culture clash or whatever else. Funny though that you now claim to be mere babes while just previously recalling your comrades affiliations with years dead organizations.

You demanded an example of an offensive war, not any of these things you list. Ask the question you want answered.

As I said, the reasons for the war you are alluding to is a subject of controversy. It certainly is not as black-and-white as you are implying. I cite as evidence to the contrary that we did not do what aggressive, conquering alliances do when the war ended. My conscience is clear on that matter and shall not argue the merits of a war that is long over with any further.

Wait, really?

I understand you may feel wronged this war, but let's not go crazy.

Is that what our current attackers are doing, avenging the horrible evil we perpetrated on an alliance that is not engaged with us and is doing quite nicely? Let me check the aggressor's War Declaration and see. No, wait. There is none.

I maintain then that amongst the alliances present on this Planet, the New polar Order fits as well with the values and integrity of NONE and Vox Populi as any other. in fact, amongst the coalition against us (as well as those who are clucking in approval on the sidelines) are several enemies of NONE and Vox Populi.

Whatever this "ambition" is of our enemies, it is nothing good for any of us.

The reasons do not matter. You initiated that conflict. Which is to say you were on the offensive. There can be no debate on that point.

As for the rest, you keep trying to move the goalposts but the ridiculousness of your initial statement is already clear to all. I also think you will find it was you who first alluded to the merits of long over wars as some kind of grand statement of NpO's moral superiority.

And no one cares about NONE or Vox.
