Diplomatic Note from Nordisk Rike

The Rike would request to inquire about the possibility that our two nations may engage in diplomatic endeavors together? We hope for a positive reply.

The Nordisk Rike Government would forward airport information to the government of UCS, as well as inform them that upon the diplomats arrival they would be escorted to the new Ministry of Economics, and would meet with Jarl Eyja Raegna, whom is in charge of the entire Economics Ministry.

"Please forgive me where are my manners" Juan said as he took his seat. "My name is Juan Andres, I suppose you could call me a Personal Advisor of the Presidents." He returned her smile, his purple eyes meeting hers. "So, back to my original question. To what do I owe the pleasure of meeting you here today?"

"Straight to the point." She would straighten some papers on her desk before continuing to speak. "The Rike would be interested in pursuing an economic treaty between our two nations, one which would allow for free passage of trade vessels from our respective nations to pass through each others domains, including the elimination of sound tolls on our end, with the elimination of canal tolls that you hold on your end. We would also be interested in conducting some sort of military cooperation in the interests of the North Atlantic Ocean to protect and secure it from foreign incursions."

Juans phone beeped. "Excuse me for a moment" he said while pulling it out. He stared at the phone for several minutes, a look of shock on his face. "I..." he stammered trying to regain his composure. "Our President has just been killed." He looked up at Ms. Andres "We will have to hurry this meeting along. Economic cooperation is definitely something we're open to, and the UCS has long stood against Foreign powers pushing their way into land they have no business being in. While our congress will have to vote on such an agreement for it to become official, I believe this is something we can agree to."

She would get a look of sadness on her face upon hearing the news. "I am sorry for the lose of your country, if there is anything the Rike can do, please do not feel afraid to ask. Well we were figuring a blanket Mutual Defense and Optional Aggression Pact, with Economic Cooperation. If you and your government find that agreeable we would love to sign this treaty with you."

"We are willing to agree to the defense of the Atlantic from Foreign enroachment, aswell as an optional defense and aggression pact between our nations, until more time developing a relationship between our governments has passed. We know very little about the Rike, it's goals, and how your military operates, making passing a mutual defense pact very difficult."

"We can respect this and wouldn't wish for anything different.  So we can sign an Optional Aggression, Optional Defense Military Agreement, as well a some trade interests included in the treaty, and our two nations can come together to invite Atlantic Nations together so that we can form a defensive union for our own very waters."

"Sounds right" Said Juan as he leaned forward to sign the treaty that would obviously be there, despite the fact both parties were far to lazy to write one OOCly.

"Unless there was anything else you wished to discuss, I'll take this treaty back to be voted in by our senate. It was wonderful to meet you, hopefully we will again."

"No I believe we have accomplished what we have come here for. It was a pleasure meeting you, and I hope you have a safe flight home and I hope your country recovers from the disaster that has befallen it."

(OOC: Consider treaty signed, I think we have accomplished what we came here for.)
