(*For audience convenience all further communications will be translated to English prior to their inscription in this medium. "The fall of the United Kingdom has no doubt been felt by both of our nations, and the Northlands has taken the initiative to secure the British Isles under our administration. We have already dispatched men and ships, and I'm hoping we can cooperate our movements to ensure no tensions will come between friends as a result of such an unfortunate situation." "What exactly is the Navy hoping to gain in terms of the Isles? I must say that while we put a great deal of trust in your nation, with France currently splintered we find it quite worrisome that the Channel could be the sole possession of one faction or nation." Shave N Haircut Posted February 2, 2015 Report Share Posted February 2, 2015 He tapped on his desk a little as he listened to the man, after he was sure the other man had finished, which involved a pause of a couple of seconds, he replied calmly, "What we wish to achieve with our operation on the British Isles is an equal seat at the table to determine their disposition, after the war has met its conclusion, for France. We have no other objective or ulterior motive; We merely wish to secure it against the possibility of utilization for harmful purposes, and because surely a united France would be more prepared to negotiate a proper solution than any other, as any deal brokered by us would likely meet with the dissatisfaction of those who would eventually claim victory." However, the purpose of our deployments to the British Isles have been to restore order and administration now, at this moment in time. We cannot wait and allow the Isles to fall into anarchy as war ravages across the channel. You are an equal partner during these negotiations. If there is something France wishes to see as far as the administration of the British Isles at this point in time, please speak freely. If you feel unable to speak on behalf of France, Northlandic soldiers will continue to secure the islands and we can re-discuss this matter when the French state is whole. We want to work with France, but I hope you can see our difficulty when it is unclear what France is, and how it is governed, at this point in time." It has become clear to us that territory that is not necessarily hostile to our goals and our nation can still be used against us by those who are, and we do not wish for the Channel to become another one of those areas. Our forces are perfectly willing to stand with yours side-by-side while you, as you say "Restore order and administration," but understand that we will not be leaving."
