Seven Nation Aftermath

Can't blame the opponent you chose yourself for avoiding fight where they are massively overpowered. You better blame your leaders for not picking the right opponent.

I don't know, when someone asks me to defend them, I generally fight as hard as I can, to you know actually defend them.  Not only that, but fighting losing battles is always more fun than fighting winning ones.  Then again, I am not in Aftermath, maybe their idea of defense is different than mine.

I'm assuming you're going off of current statistics. I'm fairly certain each signatory in Aftermath pre-war was 30-40% (Invicta was close to 40%), which still isn't anything to write home about. You also have to take into account we moved our defcon levels up ~10 days ago. Usually when that happens, tech deals start to be put on the back burner.

Meanwhile I just voted in a 7th aid slot for the black sphere, and I intend to use it.

Gotta respect an entire block with a slot usage rate of around 20 percent.

Well you gotta respect how quickly they could get their entire top tiers into PM.  With that impressive level of activity you would think they could manage a few tech deals on the side.

I knew you all sucked, but I didnt realize how much until I actually looked.

That's because all tech deals are stopped if war is on the horizon. Just good planning. Kthnx.

Is that because your alliance has warchests that are so terrible you already know you will need to aid bomb people within a week?

Or is it because you know your top tier isnt going to do any fighting so why bother importing tech?

Maybe its because you are going to force your midtier to not only do all the fighting, but also support your lower tier with cash so they can also keep fighting, so you need that middle tier of yours to save up as much money as possible.

That does sound like good planning, my bad.

I see alliances go both ways on doing tech deals during war. I wouldn't say either way is wrong though. I prefer to keep selling tech, however, there is the added difficulty that by the time a seller buys tech and sends it, they can easily be attacked and knocked to less than 100 tech. Things are just a lot trickier. Either way, you're not nearly as clever as you think you're being.

This is a political simulator; "who is most fun to fight?" isn't exactly the most important consideration :P

neither is who should we pool our resources to fight due to their threat to our alliances top tier's existance, evidently.
