Commandant Steele was not too happy, she and her troops had been prepared and ready for some time now and you could only keep troops on standby for so long before they grew bored and restless. Some infractions among the troops had already occurred but they had been stopped by the commissars swiftly enough with the most serious offenders facing the ultimate punishment. In truth Steele didn't blame her troops and she only hoped that the orders they all were waiting for would come in soon, in the hopes of doing something she sent a request to the Hesse military command in the hope of being allowed to cross into their territory to bring them closer to their target.
