Commonwealth of Massachusetts News and Actions

Connecticut- Movements into Connecticut would advance with the construction of new roads to allow safer and easier transportation, regardless of what they are using. Federal government would fund 2 million dollars to the project.

Rhode Island- Rhode Island would need a capitol building. The federal government would create the funds for the project, and the building would be modeled as a smaller version of the United States Capitol.

New Hampshire- New Hampshire would set in place a census to determine the population as well as to determine political affiliation and other important ideals. The census would be used to determine number of representatives in the future.

Vermont- Troops in the region would set up temporary base camps and would even recruit people for the armed forces. Along the same lines, all Vermonters would be given full citizenship.

New York- The main project here would be the reconstruction of New York City, which was destroyed in the aftermath of the World War. This was given a huge amount of funding and a small time frame to complete.

Pennsylvania- Philadelphia, the crown jewl of Pennnsylvania, was announced to remain the capital. This excited people very much, and some decided fireworks were even appropriate. More news coming soon.

The Massachusetts White House, Today in Congress

FirstBank-LOC-e1392223165817.jpg

BOSTON- The Senate decided on Friday that it was time to construct a presidential household for the president, Calvin Coolidge, to reside in as well as house the Executive Branch of government. This was to be placed 3 blocks away from the Capitol Building that seats the Senate and House of Representatives. Completion of this project should be about a year from now.

Today the main news in Congress is the approval of establishment of a Spanish Embassy in Boston, however more specifically it will be placed in Charlestown, the oldest neighborhood in Boston.

Presidential Race Heats Up, Other Elections

Mjtobin.jpg

BOSTON- This year is an extremely unique one as it is the year of presidential elections. The elections coming up will largely determine the next 6 years in the Commonwealth. We are about to tell you exactly what you need to know about this years elections and who will receive the title "His Excellency" for the next 6 years, and maybe beyond.

Republican Calvin Coolidge- GOP candidate Calvin Coolidge has been the leader for the last 6 years and is prepared to run for reelection. In these 6 years, Coolidge has expanded the military, created jobs, authorized the right to bear arms, increased standard of living, driven a revolutionary economy, and defeated the worst terrorist group in Massachusetts history. He is the George Washington of the Commonwealth and promises to remain the legend he clearly is.

Democrat Maurice J. Tobin- Maurice J. Tobin has never held a position since the United States. He was a Massachusetts governor and US Secretary of Labor who supported the New Deal and was a liberal. He hopes that he is elected so he may finally put the Democrats into power.

Harbor Candidate Malcolm Nichols- Malcolm Nichols is the leader of the Harbor Party and currently on the cabinet as Department of the Interior. As DI, he has successfully input American values into the Commonwealth, as well as making attempts to change the national flag and has gotten the US represented on the Massachusetts dollar. He is also a great speaker.

This is also a big year as any of the three parties could win majority, and any of the three could fall hard.

Maurice J. Tobin Inaugural Speech, New Changes Coming

400px-Small_redcoat_summerfield.jpg

BOSTON- Despite coming in at #2 in the actual election, democrat Maurice J. Tobin won the governor race through electoral college and helped seal an overall success for the Democratic party, with the standings in legislature looking like so-

Before Elections:

Republican Party(G.O.P): 23

Democratic Party: 20

Harborcratic Party: 16

Independents: 1

Following Elections:

Republican Party(G.O.P): 18

Democratic Party: 24

Harborcratic Party: 18

The Independents, as expected, completely disappeared from the government through a period of 3 years. Tobin's inaugural speech was as follows-

"Thank you...thank you. I would first like to, um congratulate my opponents on their campaigns. I am proud to succeed Calvin Coolidge, and am even prouder...for my Democratic Party after a successful election! We have the majority and we will be sure to keep such a majority.

I, while serving in the United States, recognized it to be essential to keep the values of that glorious nation in the Commonwealth. I believe it is time that we restore values that were once ours. Where shall we begin? We should begin by restoring the Imperial tradition of Massachusetts by moving soldiers into the Caribbean. This is important to my overall goal for the next 6 years.

Massachusetts has a large tradition of having certain symbols that shape our state. My intentions are to return our flag to that of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, as well as our seal. We are the people. By the sword we seek peace, but peace only under liberty. Thank you Massachusetts."

The altering of the Massachusetts flag, seal, and soldier uniforms have angered many citizens, including most Harbor citizens. They believe it represents too much of the United Kingdom, the nation that mistreated their ancestors.

Currency Printing, Inflation Worsening

1862%2B$1000%2BDollars%2BBoston%2BDesign

BOSTON- The currency that has been in the works for almost 3 years now reveals a lot about not just Maurice J. Tobin and what he has done while in office, but even since Calvin Coolidge stepped in as the provisional leader over 7 years ago. The information reveals much more than we could have gotten from them.

The highest denomination of the new dollar is a one thousand bill. Why would anyone need a one thousand dollar bill? Well, Chief Political Scientist Michael Hancock, descendant of John Hancock, predicts that by the new decade, we might be using one thousand dollar bills as frequently as we use twenties now. He says that inflation in the Commonwealth is worse than we thought, and over the next three years should escalate to an extreme point, especially if we join in the fight in Cuba to the south. So, is this the work of Coolidge or Tobin?

Well, Hancock states that 'anything done by Coolidge would not be the reason for this economic issue,' and he would be right. Tobin, in his first two years in office, has spent nearly twice the amount of money Coolidge could ever have dreamed of spending, and this is still happening. The printing of currency is not helping this situation at all, and should only worsen the inflation.

Hancock's words will surely linger in all of our heads for the rest of this day as we ponder the future of the Commonwealth, and what it looks like with Tobin leading for the next four years.

Independence Day Celebrated, Tobin's Thoughts on the Harborcrats

Hassam.jpg

SALEM- Today was a very important day in Massachusetts as it was the Fourth of July, also known as American Independence Day. In the year 1776, a small group of colonists fought against the greatest military power on the planet, and won. They became the only nation ever to win independence from the British Empire through war. Obviously, the Harborcratic Party (They changed their name on the ballot about a year ago from just Harbor) Had to step in and hold a celebration. The retired and docked CMS Constitution  went into Boston Harbor from the Charlestown Naval Yard, shooting fireworks at around eight o'clock.

The Harborcrats, after being mostly inactive since the last election(In which they failed to gain the majority they have hoped for, for the past 4 years.) have finally risen back from the ash below to make Independence Day a national holiday. While the Harborcrats were enjoying themselves that evening, Congress had to hold a special session to discuss how to deal with the current situation. It is thought the session ended at three in the morning. What was decided was that July Fourth, American Independence Day, would become a national holiday in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Tobin arrived at the session around midnight, and spoke in regards to the Harbor Party, "I solely believe that the tens of thousands of Harborcrats in this nation are wrong by all means, about everything but one; this one is the Commonwealth expansion. Besides the Massachusite interpretation of Manifest Destiny, the Harborcrats have no place in our government, and since I, a democrat, believe in the expansion, the Harbor Party should be put to rest."

The problem for Tobin was that, with the combined forces of the Harborcrats and the Republicans, they equaled a force much larger than the Democrats and demolished them in voting to create a national holiday that would be remembered for a long time. And, also, Tobin's approval rating dropped three percent by the morning.

Elections 4 Years Away, Coolidge Announces Candidacy, Islamic Republic Alive?

421px-Calvin_Coolidge-Garo.jpg

CAMBRIDGE- As most of us know, the next Presidential Elections will take place in four years, in the year 12 ACI. The "12 ACI Presidential and Congressional Elections of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts", and the third presidential elections, will likely feature incumbent president Maurice J. Tobin with the Democratic party, however besides that, we know very little about the elections.

Usually, candidates do not get announced until about two or three years before the elections. However, these elections are different. The situation is different; the Republicans and Harborcrats will likely gang up on the Democratic Party, which will make it nearly impossible to defeat them. In fact, some rumor has it that the Republicans and Harborcrats are merging to create a party that we are coming to know as the Know Nothing Party. These elections will be the most important ones since the very first. Whether or not the merger is actually occurring is unknown at this moment, however the 'Progressive Party' dream could happen, and rather quickly, even.

However, today a shocking statement was made by former president Calvin Coolidge, who said:

"Our nation needs someone. Someone not wanting to be a ruler, but a servant. That's who we need as our leaders. That's why I want you to take this man, Tobin, our of this office and for me to be given six more years to fix the country, with the help of Percival Baxter."

Word on the street is that the Harborcrats have a candidate, who for this year will be Charles F. Hurley, former Massachusetts governor, with Malcolm Nichols running as his vice president. These coming elections will sure be interesting, and we'll see where they go.

Finally, at the end of his speech, Coolidge noted that if elected he will take down the Initiative to form the Republic once and for all. Could he be noting IRIM, the Islamic Republic and Initiative of Massachusetts, that bombed Fenway Park almost 4 years ago?

Troops Called to Active Duty, Naval Admiral Takes Charge

Un-anno-da-Re001big.jpg

NANTUCKET- Today, five thousand soldiers were called to active duty in the army and navy, with the order coming directly from the commander-in-chief, President Maurice J. Tobin. The order comes at a time of fear for Massachusetts as the situation in the Caribbean are worsening, and beginning to move farther north into Communist land space. The call coming at this time likely means that border security will be drastically increased until the conflict is at bay. It also likely means that Massachusetts has no intentions to side with either party.

Out of the five thousand called to arms, one was Grand Admiral Edward Paul Revere, who has now been given the title of 'Grand Admiral, Commander of all Naval Forces' by the Chief. Revere is a Republican, who previously was a member of the provisional Congress of Massachusetts, and a signatory of the Constitution. After his congressional seat, he failed to get elected to the Second Congress of Massachusetts. He has not held a political position since, despite running for Congress and even for the Republican Presidential Nominee in 6 ACI. His lack of political experience, political correctness, and political wisdom have since made him struggle in the field. Two years ago, he joined the Navy at age twenty-four. In two years, he has risen to the highest position in the Navy by age twenty-four.

The Navy has begun regular patrols around the coasts of Massachusetts, founding a group known as the Massachusetts Coast Guard, similar to the one of the United States of America founded in 1790. "The security of Massachusetts and it's people is top priority at this time" President Tobin said to the people yesterday.

Election Countdown, New Governing Structure

BOSTON- As we all know, the unconstitutional declaration of war made by Maurice J. Tobin has led to early elections a year from now, and a political frenzy. Currently, Charles Francis Hurley is running for the Democratic Party, and Calvin Coolidge is running for the American Party. The American Party, for the uninformed audience, is the Political Party recently formed by the Republican-Harborcrat Merger. Running as his Vice is the same person he won with in his first term, Percival Proctor Baxter. This seems like it might be a total blowout as the American Party now holds sixty-three percent of the population.

Meanwhile, Calvin Coolidge has possibly sealed his victory as the new government structure bill that he had worked to pass in the final two years of his presidency has finally been approved by the legislature; and, in an attempt to not leave the office in disgrace, Maurice J. Tobin hesitantly signed the bill. His declaration of war on the Communist States has made him an unpopular man not just in the American Party, but even some democrats have been angered and stated they will not vote Democrat. It is important that Coolidge satisfy the wants and needs of both the Americans and the Democrats if he is to win this vote. The new government structure will be announced later.

New Government Structure, Congress to be Dissolved

0071oldstatehousedetail.jpg

The Executive Branch, the least effected of all branches, is basically the same structure besides minor changes. First, the President is elected to a 4 year term with no term limit, and if he resigns or for some reason is no longer able to finish his mandate, the vice president will take over unless Congress decides that a Special Election should be called, similar to the current situation with Maurice J. Tobin. Another change is that the cabinet is now appointed by the president, unlike before when it was elected. The cabinet is also now known as the ministry. These changes will go into effect following the special elections less than a year from now.

The Legislative Branch is by far the most effected by the structure change. It is now separated into two sections, the senate and house of representatives. The senate will contain fifteen representatives from each state. Unlike before, the thirty states are now the thirty counties, set into two states: Massachusetts and Maine. The House of Representatives has been changed to which now the amount of representatives from each state are determined by population and size. Although the number of total representatives may change, they must always end in five to allow for a tie in a vote to be impossible in the house.

The Judicial Branch has seen little change. It has been separated into multiple levels of courts: supreme, state, county, and precinct courts. The severity of the crime determines which court it goes to. This is determined by the five levels of crime, a crime philosophy created as early as the mid-late eleventh century in Constantinople of the Byzantine Empire. The five levels are: Null, Common, Triangular, Forcrime, and Singular, which is counting from five to one, with one, or singular, being the worst of the levels and is reserved for the most immoral and sick of all crimes.

With this in mind, Calvin Coolidge, the frontrunner in the presidential race against Charles Francis Hurley, has announced that he will completely dissolve Congress to reelect all members, which he will have the power to do while the new government structure is set into effect at the beginning of his term. This sets a very strong feeling of failure for the Democrats as they might lose anything close to a majority that they had. The Second Massachusetts Congress could be, as we know it, all-american. This could bring an end to the war extremely sooner than we may have anticipated. Whether that is good or bad depends simply on your views in the political and, yes, moral worlds.

TO: MENDOZA

FROM: TOBIN

Since the war has begun and I have already deployed soldiers and begun attacks, it is too late to end the war. Unfortunately, actions taken to keep me in power would seem too much like I am attempting to establish my permanent rule and practically become a monarch, which would only lead to more unconstitutional actions, thus removing me from office immediately instead of being given one more year. I do not know if there is any option to keep me in power without causing a revolution.

Expansionist Projects

GrandUnion.jpg

Rhode Island 1/7: The first actions taken to secure Rhode Island required entering and pushing back military resistance. The first battle took place in Pawtucket, which was controlled by Native American Tribes that, since the fall of the United States, had moved back off of reservations to be free to follow their hundred year old traditions once again. The Pawtucket Skirmish begun when Massachusite forces pushed past the undefined border and into the area around the Ten Mile River, which was settled by an Indian Tribe. The battle lasted nine hours before the Ten Mile River Territory, as well as Pawtucket and northern Providence, was taken as Commonwealth.

Rockingham 1/7: The committee to join the states decided to pass official expansion permits to Rockingham county, New Hampshire. Unfortunately, this was a site of upper-class resistance who would have to be dealt with. Attacks dealt on Hampton, however, only took four hours to bust in a collapse of resistance on the southern side of the county.

Strafford 1/7: Luckily for the Commonwealth, we also have Maine. Thus, official movement to invade Strafford county, New Hampshire would not require a southern approach but instead an approach from the north. The First Battle of Portsmouth gave a severe blow to resistance forces and called for their full retreat after twenty two hours of constant fighting in the city. all but the southern district of the city had the Commonwealth flag raised by the end of the day.

Expansionist Projects

GrandUnion.jpg

Rhode Island 2/7: The next actions taken by Massachusetts forces in Rhode Island was the invasion of Providence. This took extreme care in terms of strategic planning, however in the end it was a large success. The resistance forces were pushed back farther south.

Rockingham 2/7: The committee to join the states decided to pass official expansion permits to Rockingham county, New Hampshire recently. The next actions taken in this region was the occupation of all of the borders of the county, allowing them to slowly move in and crush resistance. They would not begin the expanding yet, but instead they would set up fencing and other required county borders.

Strafford 2/7: Strafford would be easily accessible from the border of Maine. the next phase in Strafford expansion would result in the expanding of Commonwealth occupied territory down to Stratham Station, located near the southernmost section of the Great Bay. A successful movement would occur, without any resistance due to lack of major cities.

Coolidge Elected, Takes Office in New Year

7779-004-79044FDF.jpg

BOSTON- Some people might say that the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is no longer what it once was;  that it has advanced in almost every aspect, destroying all of the history we have had in the eight years this nation has been. However, it seems that the facts have absolutely proven those people wrong as Calvin Coolidge has been elected to serve the next four years as our nations President. And, if you remember, he was also the first president of the nation before being taken out of office for the past 3 years. It seems our nation just can't get enough of Calvin Coolidge.

Calvin Coolidge, for all the years the nation has existed, has been active in Massachusetts politics. He led our nation through the best times it has had, and avoided things that would make those times any worse. A lot has changed, however the passing of the Coolidge Rules act, a government structure plan created by Coolidge, gave him the boost he needed to take down Maurice J. Tobin the "tyrant," as Coolidge said in his Radio Campaign Speeches. Coolidge, in his aging body, has announced, following his election, that this will be his final run in politics.

As his Vice President, Percival Proctor Baxter will attempt to build off of his successful mandate as Coolidge's assistant in the next 4 years. If he has the best of luck, his Vice Presidency may be something to build on in a future Presidential campaign. Separately, it was no surprise that Malcolm Nichols, a former Harborcratic and now American Party activist, was selected do be Secretary of State-elect by Calvin Coolidge. A Presidential Nominee in 6 ACI for the Harbor Party, Nichols is by far the most known Harborcrat and one of the most active enthusiasts. Previous to the past elections, Malcolm Nichols was Secretary of the Interior for both Calvin Coolidge and Maurice J. Tobin.

The new lineup for the Executive Government is set to be inaugurated and take over on January 1st, 9 ACI at the new Executive's Mansion near Soginese Creek, the site of the up-and-coming new city in Massachusetts.

Champlain to be New Capital

5lCKQxX.jpg

CHAMPLAIN- As time passes, so does history. As our history passes, some of the good things about our nation goes with it. This seems like it might be the case now that we know that Boston will no longer be the capital of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, but rather, the new city being constructed at the end of the North River. Although it has been known of a new city, both the name and the significance of the city were unknown. Now, it is known that the new city known as Champlain, Massachusetts, will be the Capital of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

For the entirety of the existence of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, it has been very well known by the national and international communities that the historic Boston, Massachusetts, was the capital of the nation, and that the congress was based from the Old State House. Last year, it was made known that a new city, called Champlain, was being constructed from the ground up. It was made known that this city was in collaboration with the federal government. It was not, however, made known that a new capital was being built. Senator Aaron Wright form Maine made the first public announcement on the topic last week, stating:

"Sometimes you just have to stick with tradition; stick with the simple way. We reject what is easiest, what is smallest, and will construct the new capital from the ground up, and we will make this new capital 500 times greater than anyone could ever imagine."

In the geographical center of the city will, as told to us by reliable sources, be a plaza known as Capital Park. Capital Park will house most, if not all, major government buildings such as the Capitol Building and the Executive's Mansion, which has already been completed. Capital Park will then stretch nearly a mile to the north, where it will feature many National Monuments and give you a tour of the inner city, as well as more government buildings. Once the city is completed, it will be the second largest city in the Commonwealth.

Coolidge Inaugurated, Begins Peace Plans

george-washington-inaugurated.jpg

BOSTON- Today a long United States tradition continues with the inauguration of the new Commonwealth president, Calvin Coolidge, serving a second term non-consecutively. The last President to be inaugurated in Boston was inaugurated alongside Vice President Percival Proctor Baxter and Secretary of State Malcolm Nichols. In his follow-up speech, he stressed the importance to end many things Maurice J. Tobin felt the opposite about, including the war and the inflation. Coolidge was given a large amount of support with the most listeners on the radio ever at an inauguration.

Not to long ago, it was made aware to us that the capital is moving to Champlain, Massachusetts. This inauguration was the final inauguration taking place in Boston before Capital Park is completed and the capital is moved there. Coolidge was inaugurated in front of the State House, and in his inauguration speech went deep about many of the most important current events in the nation. The failure of the Rhode Island invasion means that we have a major war on our hands to the south, a possible terrorist threat, and the Cuban Blockade also to the south. Coolidge has, in his speech, vowed to bring an end to the wars, and if he doesn't, his second term can be considered to be a failure as his ultimate goal has not been reached.

In the final words of the Baxter speech, Percival Proctor Baxter stated that he hopes for a blessing for Calvin Coolidge, and that this term goes according to his plan. Maybe the most interesting of speeches came from Malcolm Nichols, who at one point made a statement:

"We have been given God's Blessing for 9 Years, descended from a line of more blessings, climbing as far back as at this very building, in 1770. It is time that we opened our eyes to realize that leaders are not going to appear one day and assume a throne, but leaders must be made. They must be made through education; this is not just the education we have in schools, but we must learn of ourselves. Our leaders have to be made, not spawned. It is time that you, me, and all of us, stood up and took a stand. It is time we all found the leader in us. It is time that America is made once again. A government of the people, by the people, and for you, the people."

American Flag on Display Outside Capitol

BOSTON- Just today, thanks to the hard work of Secretary of State Malcolm Nichols and other Americans in Congress, it has been approved that an American Flag will be displayed on all major United States holidays, including Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Flag Day. The Massachusetts Flag will be flown Parallel to the American Flag every day of the year, placed on either side of the nearly-completed new Capitol Building in Champlain.

The American and Harborcrat merger changed the politics. This allowed the new party to seemingly dominate in the overall numbers of the Senate and House. Democrat influence was basically shrunk to none in Maurice J. Tobin's last year in office, and thus he had to be careful to basically do whatever the Americans want him to do. Now, he is out of office and the job previously up-for-grabs was a dominating victory for Calvin Coolidge.

The American Flag is just another step we are taking towards the goals of the American Party:  A Second United States of America. Unfortunately, this will require doing something the Republicans were against for the entirety of the nations existence:  Expansion. This will likely cause division, and will result in a likely failure in any legislation about the topic. There is division everywhere else, now it is in our own parties?

Railways in Champlain, Capital Park Completion

monet-gare-st-lazare-NG6479-fm.jpg

CHAMPLAIN- Many people do not like automobiles, whether it be the cost, the traffic, or the upkeep. Especially when you consider the Capital of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you know there is going to be traffic going around. That is why a new railway, along with multiple large terminus train stations, are currently in the works for the capital.

The new terminal will be called Gare Saint-Lazare, named after a station and terminal located in Paris, France. In 1877 Claude Monet rented a studio near the station in France and painted 7 paintings. Today, only four of these are surviving and the Commonwealth has been given the honor to display two different paintings to display at the new terminal as part of a French Mueseum, which will include mostly Impressionist-Period art.

The Act of Parliament, Capital Moved

OCJ001_L.jpg

BOSTON- Today, an action passed by the Coolidge Congress, or the legislature set up under the Coolidge Rules Act, was sure to come as a surprise. To avoid the corruption that many nations face today, a dissolution of congress has been provided for under the new Act 80, or the "Act of Parliament," as some have referred to it as. The dissolution will occur following the next elections, and an entirely new group of senators and representatives will be voted upon. This move, theoretically, should prevent corruption, at least for a while, until the aristocratic ways of democracy creep back in.

This act, Act 80, is the first major act passed during the Second Coolidge Administration. Something not very common in our type of government, the dissolution is found in Parliaments such as that of the United Kingdom, hence the nickname the "Act of Parliament." The Americans having a strong majority for the first time in a long time, it allows them to do nearly anything they want. Possibly enough power to be considered Aristocratic. Thankfully, the Harborcrats in the Party are sure to make sure the American values of Democracy are upheld to the finest of ability.

On a separate note, today is moving day for the Massachusetts Federal Government. After a long construction period, Capital Park is completed and it is time for the government to move there. Moving should be completed within 2 weeks, in which time the non-government parts of the city will continue to be built.

New Military Uniforms, Coolidge Hospitalized

american-revolutionary-war-soldier-5-468

AUGUSTA- Today two pieces of news were leaked into the public eye, which, are two nearly unrelated topics, one of which will bring the nation into a mourning state. The first is the approval of Act 83, or the Tobin's Army Act. This provides for the uniforms first proposed by Maurice J. Tobin only days after his inauguration. The next is the announcement that incumbent president Calvin Coolidge is currently in the hospital, and is considered in critical condition. With that being said, this means that Percival Proctor Baxter will take over as the president until Coolidge is recovered.

The new uniforms, in which were first suggested in the inaugural address of Maurice J. Tobin, were finally accepted to be brought into the legislative ballot. The bill for new military uniforms was voted yes upon mostly Democrats and Republican-Americans, and few American-Harbors voted. The lack of Harbor votes is likely because of the resemblance to the uniforms of the former British Empire, of which ruled over the Commonwealth until the Independence of the United States following the Revolutionary War. All four of the uniforms above will be used by the Massachusetts Armed Forces.

As for Coolidge being brought to the hospital 3 days ago, it is unknown why he is in the hospital, however we are made aware that his critical condition likely will not rise to the point of him being able to finish his term as President. We have been made aware that he has appointed Edward Paul Revere, Secretary of Defense, as Secretary of State under the circumstance that he must resign or passes away. Under those circumstances, Percival Proctor Baxter will become president and Malcolm Nichols would be the Vice President.

Coolidge Farewell Speech, Passes Away

BOSTON- Calvin Coolidge made his final speech to the people of the nation earlier today in Boston in the final hours of his life. The announcement, lasting only 15 minutes, was great and he put his trust into Percival Proctor Baxter, Malcolm Nichols, and Edward Paul Revere to continue to bring the country to greatness.

Ladies, gentlemen. I come to you today not as your leader, but as a mortal man, whom God has chosen to not end the life, but to begin it. I have been chosen by the people of this nation and this world to serve you, and it is now time for me to move on.

Being the leader of the greatest nation on this very planet was not easy, I tell you. I would be lying if I said I did not have a vision, but I would be lying more so if I said I did. My vision was that of the people, and a government run by the people and for the people. I hope all of you out there feel the same. It would be a tragedy if these human rights were taken away; if they were ripped from our backs and given to the aristocrats. Wealth must not run this nation. My fear of this hole is why I put my trust in Percival Proctor Baxter, and future presidents Nichols and Revere.

Remember, a nation with corruption cannot thrive. We removed Tobin for reasons obvious, however there were much worse things a president could have done. There will be presidents who disappoint us, and there is no stopping that. What can be done is for us to learn from the mistakes of our past government leaders. Remember that a government is incorrectly defined. I refuse to accept that there must be a group governing the people, but the people governing the group.

I apologize that my term has been shortened by an unexpected turn of events, however I know that the successor of myself to the presidency is as decent a man as any, and he has but only good intentions. The new vice president, Malcolm, is likely the most active and possibly the greatest politician the Commonwealth has seen. It is a shame I did not live to see past year 10, however I am glad I made it to see where we are at this point. It has had its up and its down, however we have landed on our feet, just as we will go for more anniversaries to come.

So let this be my last. I will be silenced from life, but not from the hearts of the people. The heart of the people will survive, as it always has. I now place my trust in those worthy of the title, the people. Au revoir...

6 Hours later, Coolidge breathed his final breathe. He has been in our politics since day 1 of the provisional government, to today, year 10 of the permanent government. Unfortunately, the mourning period must be increasingly shortened with the war in which has heated up, and we must hope Percival Proctor Baxter is the right and able man to save the nation.

A Meeting of Congress, The New Constitution

H02AjH5.jpg

CHAMPLAIN- Today Congress made its final ground-breaking moves in the match. The new constitution guaranteed following the Coolidge Rules Act, written by Malcolm Nichols, has finally been approved and passed for ratification by the states of Massachusetts and Maine. Under it, some major changes have been made.

First of all, execution has been made legal once again. This major change has angered many. The largest change, however, is likely the addition of the Second Act of Parliament, which turns both acts into amendments to a Bill of Rights, and calls for congressional dissolution on every 10th year with a presidential election. This has made many feel like the Massachusetts government has turned into a parliamentary system, and one not supported by the popular opinion.

PREAMBLE: We the People of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, in attempt to ensure a perfected state, to establish justice and to ensure all tranquility, provide for our own defense, promote the welfare of all, and secure His blessings for ourselves and all others, to ordain and ratify this new constitution for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. And when it comes necessary, allow the people to decide when to raise the army, and be it the right of the people to rule, and the governors to not govern, but serve, as they were established to do, and will vow to pledge allegiance to the nation for all life to come and go, this new constitution may be into effect.

The constitution is very closely modeled after the one of the United States of America, as should be expected by Malcolm Nichols, the former Harborcrat and current Vice President of the nation. The constitution, after ratified, will be put into effect 2 weeks after ratification. It is expected that both states will approve it within the next week, leaving about a month until the new constitution is into effect.
