In an effort to better understand the world around us the Royal Kingdom of Cascadia has declared ownership to the Research station of Mcmurdo, Antarctica, and the Research station of Eureka, Nunavut.

Eureka, Nunavut

The research team of around 100 cascadians disembarked the CCGS Jed to find the station in complete ruin. Although it was well known it had been abandoned since the fall of the original Canadian government many years ago, they still didn't expect to find this. They began to attempt fix the outpost by repairing basic infrastructure, such as electricity and basic communications. While the researchers were hard at work the CCGS Jed began patrols to search for any nearby civilization and coldwater pirates.

Mcmurdo, Antarctica

When the research team of 175 Cascadians arrived to Mcmurdo station by the means of the CCGS Oliver, they discovered they staton wasn't as badly damaged as Eureka but still in disarray. As such they echoed the actions of their compatriots in Eureka and began fixing the most basic infrastructure by repairing walls and ceilings, by getting power to the station, and opening up basic communications to the homeland. Just as well the CCGS Oliver began patrols around the station before the ice could begin setting in.

In both of the stations they would easily be able to bring back online electricity and basic communications. With the electricity back online research would commence immediately on everything that was possible but their main project was space research. When the communications were set up both stations would organize airlifts of needed supplies to the stations.

Mcmurdo, Antarctica

In Mcmurdo, the first of three Airplanes touched down on the runway full of supplies that would assist in returning the station to working status. Meanwhile the CCGS Jed would begin to track down a small pirate enclave operating near the station.

Eureka, Nunavut

The scientists stationed in Eureka had major success in bringing the stations weather tracking ability back online but they still needed to bring the rest of the station back online before it would be of any use.

Mcmurdo, Antarctica

The supplies being brought in on the planes were a definite help to the scientist who managed to bring the station fully online. The only things left to do is to root out the the pirate enclave, construct more structures, and fill the station with cascadians.

Eureka, Nunavut

The station in Eureka was brought online at exactly the same time as Mcmurdo. With them online the stations began working in tandem with each other.

Mcmurdo, Antarctica

The works at Mcmurdo would construct a fence surrounding the outer perimeter of the station. Meanwhile the CCGS Jed had succesfully tracked down the pirates. They were operating out of a medium sized mothership but nothing the massive Jed couldn't handle.

Eureka, Nunavut

The researchers at Eureka would begin to send drones out to scout the surrounding area. Mainly to the research station Alert.

  • 2 weeks later...

McMurdo, Antarctica

The CCGS JED floated in the Ross Sea tracking a pirate mother ship. They had been tracking it for around two months now ever since they had attempted to raid McMurdo. Having just been given the green light to take it out, the ship sped up on intercept course. Even travelling at max speed the ship was slow, as such it would take around 20 minutes to reach the enemy. As soon as the ship was in range the CCGS JED swung its cannon in the direction of the ship and fired three rounds. The first one slamming into the bow of the ship sending it reeling, the second would have hit next to the first but instead blew into the starboard side. This ship was definitely going to sink. The third hit the fuel storage and the ship exploded sending flaming debris everywhere.

Eureka, Nunavut

The final shipment of supplies need to bring the station online were delivered. Meanwhile the CCGS Oliver would sail home to Portland.
