FAN Announcement

I think it's funny that telling me he is "armed to the hilt" is supposed to intimidate me in his mind. What is interesting, albeit totally unknown to most tea party, and far right extremists is that many people of differing political ideologies own firearms. Just because you have a Gadsden bumper sticker, own a few .223 lookalike rifles and some body armor doesn't mean you and your ilk are the only folks who do. Welcome to the club, you're late.

EDIT: Back on topic, FAN - I think that if the majority of people want a proposal to pass, it will pass. Influencing democracy to suit your own needs to me is akin to tyranny.

Edit x2: Your nation is called "Sepritists", but you don't like being called a right wing extremist?

How should I respond ??? THANK YOU ??

The one thing about us armed to the hilt people, we pretty much keep to ourselves and are basically nice folk .. until it's time not to be nice, calling me and my kind 'rightwing' doesn't sit well with me.

Have a nice day !

Your kind is right-wing. :^)

Jarhead, eh? W'ere armed too, so come at me bro. You're not the only segment of a population that enjoys the pop and chatter of firearms. Either way, I sincerely doubt you know the definitions and applications of what Socialism or Communism is, and is not.

Not to get into a philosophical argument here, but you get to choose which examples of Socialism and Communism you'd like him to look at...? Did any of them work?

EDIT:

Lets keep this thread on topic. Consider this a general verbal warn; future derailment will result in warnings being issued.

Just saw this as I was posting. My apologies.

I sincerely do love that if you're "right-wing" you're automatically an extremist/ Sorry, I was a hardcore Liberal for years, then I finally saw the light and became a patriot. I can not support an agenda that wins most of it's wars though social issues and finger pointing.

EDIT: tl;dr So basically this screws over anyone under 3k infrastructure who has nukes on yellow, namely RIOT.

I'm on yellow. I'm under 3,000 infrastructure. I have nuclear weapons. But my bills only went up about $100k and I'm a tech seller, which is completely I don't even care status. The only qualms I have with the situation were that these decisions were made without any input or cooperation amongst us all. But when Conundrum hit tJL, I didn't care about that anymore and with this, it goes to show it's up to rational adults to prevail against temper tantrums from children.

What you are missing is that Conundrum just wanted the senators that voted to say hey we screwed up, we will have an open discussion with all of yellow (not just FAN) before we vote next time. The senator in question was basically saying "this was good for everyone no discussion needed"  instead of seeing the point behind the matter was not about 2 proposals. So he and an alliance member ate a nuke to get their attention. Hopefully, this got their attention and there will not be a need for this to go any farther.

Yet Max hasn't eaten a nuke yet.  not that I am actively encouraging it.  Or anything like that.

Just that it seemed appropriate to note this oversight.

As far as tJL is concerned, no mistakes were made in the voting process. The only wish we have going forward is that others on yellow will be more communicative than they were before. This includes FAN, who up to this point have been difficult to communicate with, putting it lightly. The message system was not implemented at the time of event proposal, a system we will monitor for the first day to see what people discuss about when applicable.

We will not hesitate to vote in any economic policy which has no downside however. Such as the first event. +3 happiness, -$3 income is not disputable or worth discussing. If you don't like it, then convince us with your words we're wrong. I grew up in a law enforcement family, I learned to handle a weapon before I could read a book. The first rule is to never point your weapon at someone you don't intend on using it on. But throughout my life I've also learned that words can be a whole lot more effective than threats with people willing to be reasonable, as we've shown numerous times.

So will FAN ever step up and tell the OWF that Conundrum is acting on his own accord and they regret his hasty decisions? I'm tired of hearing it from Mackay when FAN's government hasn't been telling him everything from the beginning.

We are just making a point that there needs to be consultation. If this sort of thing was done to us during vietFAN... well you can see where there might be instances where the best thing for the team may not be the best thing for individual senators.

Tip of the iceberg, tJL is worse than the Continuum.

I like this thread, it smells nice in here.

I'm just going to hang out here awhile.

Also, how hilarious would it be if a color war started, how long has it been, like 6 years?

You're wrong, it affected RIOT a lot more than any other AA on yellow, so I am glad one of your nations is getting nuked over it. It is not economically beneficial to us as a whole, as said before, the rise in nuke purchase costs is not offset by that 3+ population happiness, not even close.

You're also missing the point of this thread, you should go talk to people before voting. You had not even come to us, where we share a senator voting agreement....I can tell you know that RIOT will not be supporting Max Power as our senator. Because you basically spat in our faces without even coming to us.

BMTH, you were running your own candidate anyways, so how did we spit in your faces? And again, why do you need to buy nukes at this time? And if you need some for defense, buy 5 and still turn a profit. If you're rebuilding, the financial benefits are even more of an incentive. Leading up to the event selection, 2% of yellow was active within the past 7 days purchasing a nuclear weapon. As of right now the vast majority of yellow are benefiting from over 4.5 happiness. Tell you what though, come to me through private channels and I'll help anyone in Riot optimize their rebuild if you so desire.

Smurf, we do not regret the outcome chosen. You can't please everyone, there will come a time when my nation or tJL as a whole are negatively impacted by an event. That is the nature of this business. We do agree communications could have been better by all parties and they will be going forward if other parties make the attempts they so seek.

Again, you're missing the point. But thanks for admitting you didn't come to anyone in RIOT, where you share a voting agreement, where still half the AA voted for Max. We only recently restarted to shift our votes. We need to buy nukes because we were massively raided by Aztec, and friends, where it was a nuclear week long war, where SDI's and the such drained our nukes. But that is neither here nor there. Even a few members of Kashmir, your direct ally could have benefited from the rebuying of nukes.

Next time have Max Power actually go to the forums we share in common to be like hey, is this cool with everyone. Instead of just assuming everyone is cool with it. Or you can continue you say hey, its fine, every one is benefiting from this, especially when an alliance that help max Power get into the senate in the first place did not want this.

But thanks for the help you're going to give, i'll decline.
