Black Hills Treaty

RIS3 4 WAR

Recommended Posts

The sun burned down heavily on the great, coniferous forests that ever so lightly caressed the Black Hills with their gnarled, deep roots. The two North American Neighbors, Cascadia and the NSNA, met here, on these hallowed grounds as friends. It was under the rare shafts of sunlight that slept silently on the undergrowth that General Wallace waited with his most trusted advisors of the Anvil. The NSNA was here to sign a MDP with Cascadia in all things concerning foreign hostility, and an ODP for unwarranted American hostility. Though the NSNA was young, there was some merit to be found in signing a treaty. It paved the foundation for future works, it put the two nations hand in hand. General Wallace was a Marine at heart, and so knew of efficiency and how to weigh risk against gain. This was a risk yes, but the gain far out compassed that negative consequence.

With a relaxed posture of Modified POA, General Wallace waited, a bead of sweat slithering down his brow, as the Cascadians came about.

A small Cascadian convoy made their way to the small area where the meeting was to be held. As the king, Alan loved these diplomatic meetings. He traveled in a Cascadian made Combat Tactical Vehicle with the .50 calibre removed. It was behind a LAV-25 and was followed by another CTV, a Marksman Artillery System, and a flatbed truck with a few large crates. They pulled in and Alan jumped out. He was in his dress blues from his days serving in the military. After he was out, he was followed out by the CEO of Stahlrim Weapons, Ewan Stahlrim. They walked over to General Wallace as the soldiers in the second CTV unloaded the crates from the flatbed. The marksman moved and parked so that everyone could see it. Alan extended his hand to The General, "Hello, my name is Alan, and I'm the King of Cascadia." He pointed to Ewan, "This is my good friend Ewan, CEO of Stahlrim Weapons."

General Wallace stood and firmly shook the Kings' hand. He took a moment to mentally note the disposition and strengths of the King and his entourage, an old habit from the Corps. Dropping the hand shake and turning to Lieutenant General Victoria, he nodded his head. Lt. General Victoria gave a sharp whistle that lasted a good few seconds. In as tactically accurate of a manner as the NSNAMC were trained to do, thirty recon Marines appeared from the woods around, as if from born from the shadow of the wood itself, and surrounded the procession as type of honor guard and stood at Attention. Never once did they utter a sound.

"King Alan, it is good to meet you, as you Ewan" the General cast a look to the CEO of Stahlrim Weapons before returning his gaze to that of the Kings. "I had requested a field test of some of your weaponry and to sign a treaty between our two Countries. Now let us be onto it."

Alan look around and took note of how quickly the marines had assembled. "They are quite impressive", He said to Ewan. "Very impressive", he replied. Ewan walked over to the equipment the Cascadians had brought. While Alan spoke to General Wallace, "Shall we sign the treaty first or shall we test the weaponry which we have brought along?

Some distance out Cascadian engineers were hard at work constructing a small shanty town. There were a few two story buildings but it was mainly one story. The small town was built to show off the Marksman Artillery System, the CTV, and some small arms weaponry. Out of the crates small packages were brought out along with ammo boxes. These were set alongside the flatbed and were positioned to look nice. The second CTV had opened all of it's doors so as The General could see inside. Ewan stood quietly in the middle as Alan went to sign the treaty.

The speed at which the engineers created the shanty town was quite impressive, General Wallace admitted silently. Pulling out a pen and the official NSNA seal he signed into effect the Black Hills Treaty. This was a moment that'd mark the path which the NSNA took down the future, and General Wallace was damned sure he'd walk the right path. He poured hot wax onto his signature line and pressed the embossed seal into it, before sliding the treaty to King Alan. As the General was signing, the honor guard of Marines dispersed to assist the Engineers and prep the weaponry.

Alan looked at the document. All will be well. He signed the document into law. After he pulled out the rubber stamp with the kings official seal with the wolf. Wax was poured next to the signature. "For Cascadia, for the NSNA, for North America, for the world!" He pushed the stamp into the wax. He turned to look at General Wallace, "Let's get this demonstration going." He walked over to Ewan.
