DISCUSSION

To: Washington D.C., United States  From: Sredinny Base, Greater Russia

Russia has made a great fight back from the last war, and it is great to know that the United States is back on it's feet as well, and with a dear friend of mine, George Heller.

In 2015, Russia and the United States were allied in World War III, along with Great Britain and Canada. It was six months before the first nuclear bomb was dropped, landing in the center of the United States. A total of 5 nukes were landed against the "Northern Powers", 3 against the United States, and 2 against Russia. While Russia just suffered from a great depression, the United States was completely wiped out.

Years later, The United States reformed, and Russia has attempted to bring back the Northern Powers that they fought as back in the last war.

Great Negotiations,

Vladimir Igorevich

Head of State(A.K.A. President) of Greater Russia

OOC: Here, we will discuss foreign affairs and attempting to establish foreign relations with the new United States of America.

"Ah, hello Mr. President! It is nice to see that you have made it safe and sound, and it is an honor to work alongside you once again. I am inviting you to Sredinny Base to talk about bringing our two nations together once more, like before the war. It is great that you have brought back this invaluable nation known as the United States. We both are leaders of our nations once again, and i am honored to tell you how much i would love to return the Northern Powers to the world.

Please feel free to ask any questions and make comments. What do you think about returning the Northern Powers?"

"President Vladimir Igorevich, I hope that our meeting at Sredinny Base will produce mutually beneficial results. If you don't mind I would first like to start with the exchange of diplomatic representatives. I have decided to appoint Ambassador Peter Goldsby as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Russia."

"As a sign of agreement, I assign diplomat Joseph Dixonovich the United States. We must now discuss terms of allying, if you are so willing. I believe it would be highly beneficial if we formed a alliance. However, i have seen and heard that you have high interest in working with Japan, and it could work to bring them into the Northern Powers, us three can work closely together. Right now i am very busy, with being reelected to the Russian Interstate, but i can definitely add this to the table. Us three can easily make up the world superpowers, and we can work to make democracy the superior in this world. All I would have to do is get the alliance approved by the Legislative branch, and passed through the Exucutive, which will take no more than 5 days, but most likely less. If you agree, may you invite Japan to Sredinny Base for me? Just say yes or no and i will get it approved, then once the treaty is signed, it must be approved once more and then we must give it at least 2 days to go into effect after it is announced. I will talk to the rest of the government about it, but it is likely is will be another few days, with all the changes going around in our government right now, but you can count on it that i will do everything in my power to get this thing passed."

OOC: You may now make a thread for the Russian Embassy in the US.

"I have no problem with you inviting Japan. However I do have concerns over Russia's massive land claim with the few military capabilities you already have."

"We do not have much land, we were denied and i understand why, and we have fair military capability. Russia is not focused on war, we are focused on survival. We have done it before, we will do it again."

"Well I believe we have already established foreign relations through the exchange of diplomatic representatives. Could you explain in detail what you mean by "keep the world at peace"?"

"Trying our best to make sure that war does not come, and, like most global wars, destroy the economy. After World War II, Germany was completely struggling. There dollar had become so worthless that parents let there kids use stacks of money as building block toys. Things like that cannot happen again."

"But what specifically are you looking to the United States to do/supply? As of right now the United States is willing to commit to a Non-Aggression Treaty."

"I could deal with that. But out of curiosity, what do you think about the reformation of the Northern Powers? Or maybe the creation of a new United Nations?"

EDIT:

"Hello, Mr. Heller. I am the new Vice President of Greater Russia, Ostroverkhov Anatolievich, and as much as this pains me to say, while Mr. Igorevich is on-trial for conspiracy, he has been suspended and I have the interim reigns of president. Sorry for the inconvenience, but due to these problems, the Russian Court has asked me to vacate any and all foreign visitors from Sredinny Base to our Siberian Base #25. A limo is ready for you, and it will take you there so that we may continue negotiations as planned. I am deeply sorry for the inconvenience. For any more information, please go here and send a letter asking for a Judicial Representative, and you should get one of Mr. Bardzeki's assistants, or Dimitri himself. That is where you will get more information on  Mr. Igorevich, your base movement, or anything else related to the recent events here in Russia. Thank You."

After noting the absence of the Russian President, Secret Service Agent-in charge Josh Brock immediately began to get suspicious. After consulting with the agency Director and his fellow agents, he decided to immediately evacuate the President from Russia and send him back to Washington. He and several other agents entered the room where the President was waiting, drew their Sig P229 pistols, covered him with their bodies, and evacuated the premises. An emergency call was given to Marine One to land on the base and fly the American delegation to the airport where Air Force One was waiting. Once the President was on board, the pilot initiated emergency protocols and took off as fast as the engines would allow, ascending into the sky. Once Air Force One was over the Pacific, F-22 Raptors from Naval Base San Diego would intercept the aircraft and escort it back to Andrews AFB.

A note would arrive at the Russian Foreign Ministry:

"The United States will no longer conduct any diplomatic engagements with the Russian government. Good day."
