The Bonyads are a Consortium of over 120 Organizations which are Tax-Exempt and in receipt of Government Subsidies and Religious Donations. They answer directly to the Supreme Leader of Iran and control over 20% of Iran's GDP. Classified Islamic Republic of Iran Army strength increased: Five Armoured Divisions increased to Ten (One Hundred and Twenty Thousand Combat Soldiers, Three Thousand Six Hundred Main Battle Tanks) Ten Mechanised Divisions increased to Twenty Five (Three Hundred Thousand Combat Soldiers) Twenty Infantry Divisions increased to Fifty (Six Hundred Thousand Combat Soldiers) Iranian Defence Systems build the Type 69-IIA Main Battle Tank which will replace all T-62M Main Battle Tanks in service. Basji formed. The role of the Basji would be the Islamic Republic's Internal Security Militia. Each Province will have a Detachment made up of One Hundred Thousand Personnel and would be the Domestic Security Force which would back up the local Police Force. They would be able to make arrests and will have special powers to stop and search. They would also have authorisation to shoot on sight if the situation demands it. They would be armed with PC-9 ZOAF Pistols, Type 56-II Assault Rifles and if need be, RPG-7 Rocket Launchers. These soldiers would be trained in marksmanship and first aid as they would be called up as reservists in times of war to replace losses. The Iranian Space Agency launches two Satellites: - Military Communications and Observation Satellite codenamed Allah's Gaze - Civilian Communications, Global Positioning and Television Satellite for State Television and Navigation. The Top Secret Facility near Kerman which had been built during the era of Supreme Leader of Iran Faisal Al Jahri is reactivated after a Major Refurbishment. Iranian Islamic Guard formed A new elite branch of the Iranian Military called the Iranian Islamic Guard is formed. Iranian Internet goes online, although anything immoral and not portraying Islamic values and customs were restricted. The new legislation stated that the government is exclusively in charge of supervising all Access Service Providers across the country. It also states that all ASPs must give up their direct connection and all ISPs and Coffee Nets must obtain license from the government. The new legislation also stated that all ISPs must install and use filtering systems to “block access to forbidden immoral and political websites and other undesirable sites” and record the activities of the users to provide to the [Ministry of Information and Communications Technology (Iran)|Ministry of ICT]. The recorded information must be endorsed by the Ministry of Information, Justice Administration and the Police.
