The most remarkable characteristic of the Type 10 tank lies in its C4I function (command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence). This can be incorporated into the JGSDF network to enable sharing of information among tanks, as well as connected to the infantry’s outdoor computer network “Regiment Command Control System”(ReCS) to facilitate integrated military operations with the infantry troops. Mogar Posted August 5, 2014 Author Report Share Posted August 5, 2014 (edited) Recognizing the need for the Imperium to have the most advanced navy possible in order to properly defend its current holdings, an additional Helicopter Carrier, of the Izumu Class. two more corvettes, and an additional Kongō Cruiser.. New designs to replace the Takanami-class destroyer with the Akizuki-class destroyer, as well as the Murasame-class destroyer to replace the Asagiri-class destroyer. Multiple designs were being considered to replace the Akubuma class, a decision would be made soon on what design the Imperium would go with. Additionally, there was research being put into creating a modernized Yamato-class battleship, to serve as a flagship displaying the Imperium's might. The Imperium also realized the need for both intelligence ships and far great numbers of patrol vessels, the Yoshiro Okabe Class, based upon the French ship Dupuy de Lôme was selected as well as a minimum of 6 Hibiki-class ocean surveillance ships. at least 80 Hayabusa-class is a guided missile patrol boats are planned. Mogar Posted August 21, 2014 Author Report Share Posted August 21, 2014 Realizing the need to be able to engage in asymmetric warfare against a much larger opponent upon the ocean, the Imperium Navy has chosen to end the Hayabusa-class patrol boat line at 56 ships completed, and continue on with a design stolen from Republic of China databases in the chaos of the war against them. The Type 022 missile boat would serve their purposes well, allowing the Imperium to enact a missile swarm against an opposing fleet, and leaving them unable to respond until it was too late. Uminosasori was the Japanized name for the class, plans for at least 80 of the vessels were put into place and they would be build almost assembly line style, further increasing the output.
