I have it planned to play out accordingly. Voters who do not have a nation will not be counted. You can vote all 4 parties shall you want to. Each one will be a congressional seat won by that party.[/OOC] All parties will be providing Q&A sessions. Feel free to ask a question and all 4 parties will form an opinion. Republican Party: Leans Right Wing Democratic Party: Leans Left Wing Dixie Democrat Party: Right Wing Black Panther Party: Left Wing/Racial Bias to African American Views Dixie will be hosting her congressional elections to determine the house of representatives for the appropriate districts. All parties have until The 20th to campaign and answer questions as well as run their campaigns to represent the people of Dixie in the House of Representation. Bill 1121: Act of Solidarity with Tennessee The Union does hereby recognize the region of Tennessee to be a state that holds values similar to our nation. Shall this bill be approved, it will proceed to the House of Representatives, The Senate, and then to the Chancellor. If signed by the Chancellor, Federal Funding will be used to hold a referendum vote in all Tennessee Counties to vote to be admitted into the United Republics of Dixie as a protectorate. A separate election will take place. Shall the bill pass and Tennessee vote to be admitted to become a protectorate of Dixie, a referendum will then be held for the State of Tennessee to vote to be admitted as a Republic in The United Republics of Dixie. Direct Statement via Chancellor Carter "Dixie has not recognized this claim, and we apologize for the inconvenience, but if the people of our nation view that Tennessee has a stronger connection with Dixie than Qamadan, then we will hold the elections to see what the people of Tennessee think rather than a simple claim of their territory. I am sure you would agree that would be that most logical and diplomatic approach to the situation. We would like to invite you to The Dixie Capital Building in Huntsville to discuss this issue further rather than by message. Sincerely, Peggy-Sue Carter" Classified Group Message to the Government of URD: "I would like to request all government members to be present for a potential meeting with The Supreme Leader of Qamadan and his cabinet shall it be necessary. Regardless if the meeting takes place or not we have issues to deal with. Attached is a summary of the details. Thanks. - Peggy Sue" - Secretary of State June Sanders proceeds to contact advertising agencies who practice in Radio and Media advertisements to negotiate a deal on advertising space. - - The Dixie State Department begins brain storming a populist campaign over Tennessee Radio and Television channels to encourage the solidarity of Issues & show how much "better" a life in the Dixie republic is. In fact, they formed Qamadan along with their brothers and sisters in Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas. They desired to be a part of the Qamadani nation, and they indicated it as such in a referendum. We will honor that, and no referendums or elections held by Dixie will change that. If these counties did choose to secede into Qamadan, then we recognize it. However we would like to let them know there are two choices, not just one to become an official part of a nation. Shall the referendum hold valid, we would like to hold a referendum of our own in eastern Tennessee to see just how happy the people are and what rule they would rather have. If the majority does not choose your nation, we ask you to do a statewide referendum in conjunction with Dixie for both of our nation. I believe that is a fair ordeal. You speak of choice for the Tennessee people, yet you're willing to disregard the choice of our East Tennessee citizens if our results don't meet your standards. Although we are willing to meet with you to discuss the matter, we will not be obligated to hold yet another referendum nor compel our citizens to vote in something that they already voted in."
