lkfht
Regional Business Center Trade and Commerce Authority The RBC will consist of a commercial district and an industrial zone, both of which are located in the City of Cork. It is the TCA's hope, along with the Irish Government, that this new economic hub will bring in large profits for the county and those who invest in it. We are estimating that 250,000 – 300,000 people will be working or visiting the complex at any given time and bring in hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue. This new center will welcome companies and corporations from all over the world to come and trade with Irish entities as well as other international ones. There is no fee to join the RBC and it is encouraged that companies open field offices and/or manufacturing facilities in nearby areas. PresidentDavid
Fjord Industries, Aegir Brewing, Meli Automobiles, and Grimsey Inc. would all petition to the Irish government to be recognized as corporations and to conduct business in Ireland. If approved, they would all open field offices in Cork's Regional Business Center. Fjord Industries, which specialized in ship building and steel manufacturing, would attempt to build a small shipyard in Laugh Mahon to construct fishing vessels and luxury sailboats that would hopefully be purchased by the Irish people if the facility could be constructed. Also, Fjord Industries would look into opening two steel-manufacturing facilities with top-notch environmental standards that they carried over from Iceland. Aegir Brewing held pride in brewing its ale in Iceland however the company would look into purchasing a warehouse in Cork to store bottled Aegir Ale and a distribution center to send it around the island. Meli Automobiles would most likely have the biggest immediate presence in Ireland. Meli would attempt to purchase a warehouse in Cork, Dublin, and Belfast and an assembly plant in Belfast and Cork. They would also attempt to open three pilot dealerships in Dublin, Belfast, and Cork to sell their energy-efficient vehicles to the public. Grimsey Inc. specialized in mining and petroleum development. With permission of the Irish government, they would begin looking into minimal mining prospects in north west Ireland. The overwhelming interest in the Irish market would prompt the King's advisers to setting up some type of international trade center in Iceland.
