Top 5 Defunct Alliances of all time

I will tally up the rankings at the end of the thread. I ask that you all leave your in-game political opinions at the door. Pick 3 now departed alliances that you think had the largest impact on the game. When the  thread dies down, I will tally points and rank the top 10. (3 points for 1, 2 points 2 , 1 point for 3.)

 

I will start this off...

 

1) Mushroom Kingdom

 

2) Athens

 

3) Poison Clan

 

 

Please list your 3 the same way I have so they can be easily tallied.

 

2nd Edit : After careful consideration, I have replaced GGA with Poison Clan.

 

Also.. as other nominees can spark memories and lead to mind changes... you have 24 hours from your initial post to edit it if you change your mind. After 24 hours,  your votes will be tallied as they are and edits will be ignored.

Well.. Current VE claim that VE 1.0 was a planned hiatus. So for my ruling, I will not count them. GOONS 1.0 was vastly different to GOONS 2.0... so I will allow them... with that in mind, could you add a third?
