Xanth
I don't think gjo will make it to 2014 at this rate. One guy attacked them and they started abandoning the banner.

The Big Bad
Ah, a few former members disagreed with the current gov. IRON will obviously fall next year :P When an aliiance makes as big of public face palms as IRON has and becomes Planets Bobs biggest joke it is very likely IRON will be in for some very hard times. Both sides of the current war dislike you making doing anything diplomatic beyond licking someones boots and hoping they protect you unlikely. If IRON has any active members they are no doubt embarresed and looking to either clean house of get out once the current conflict has ended. So yes it is very likely IRON will fail next year, we have seen it many times before.
JoshuaR
As much as people can say about IRON's diplo team, we'll really have to wait and see. So far they're engaged on the winning side of a large war taking minimal damage. The results of their diplo team's recent work may or may not manifest. Meanwhile, early in the year NPO was Leading the world's crusade and seemed to be tops in most categories. To go from that to the very bottom is a better example of failed diplomacy at this juncture. I'm sure you understand short term profit vs long term loss? Because the concept applies here really well.
JoshuaR
I know what you mean. I'm just saying that for this year, NPO's team fell far worse. Very top in January to near the bottom in their handling of Anti-BIBO, precisely getting the short term gain for a long term loss you describe, only they thought they were also getting the long term gain. Therefore, most bungled diplomacy has to go to them.
Neo Uruk
Actually a lot of that diplomacy was bungled by treaty partners, not NPO itself. Supporting allies in flawed endeavors isn't really all that terrible of a thing. It's part of why MK was so admired (and Athens so disdained) back in 09/10, and why PC was widely regarded as a good alliance in the same timeframe (as well as their fighting ability) even though \m/ wasn't. Steve Buscemi
"Failed" diplomacy has little to do with that alliance and mostly what other alliances do to spin it and manipulate alliances into thinking their lies are true. Combined with the power of the bandwagon and it's pretty easy job if you don't mind being a snake.

Phil Coulson
Ah, a few former members disagreed with the current gov. IRON will obviously fall next year :PWhen the former members are diehards and the leaving is more like a captain vaulting over the railing of his ship it does lead to some concerns.
