Don't there always have to be Sith for the Force to be in balance? Neither Sith nor Jedi can wholly eliminate the other, since light needs its dark, and vice versa. The easiest way to learn about the intricacies of alliance politics is not to found one, but to be in one that's already existed- if you're a micro with no experienced government and a micro protector you're never going to get anywhere. Talk to people on forums and IRC, and get to know people. Be open to both constructive and negative criticism- they'll make you stronger, and you'll know who to give a fuck about and who isn't worth your time. Then, after you've been around for a few months or more and you feel like you can take things on your own, maybe give this a shot. That's not to say that I think anyone should attack you; I don't. It would not, however, be suicide for most people. Thinking that it would is dangerous for you because it means you have a false sense of security and may not put in the effort needed to learn how to avoid getting hit in the face with a roque mallet.
