A Response From The United States of Viridia

The enemy has made a grave mistake. Rather than continue his underground campaign of subversion and deceit, he chooses to reveal himself and face us in open war. That will be his undoing, however, as now that he has exposed himself, he is open to the kind of strike that will render his insurrection limp to the iron will of The Entente.

For, you see, your battle will end. This war will end. Your nation will end. But Entente. Entente is forever. We are friends in adversity, we are no strangers to it, and out of it we always rise again.

You'll be back at Appomattox far sooner than you ever expected, again being subject to the will of a true delegation, one whose union outlasted yours, and will last forever. Your fungus can poison the world no more.

No other terms than unconditional and immediate surrender can be accepted.

Signed,
Ulysses S. Goldie, Lieutenant General of the Army of the United States of Viridia

I wonder if we'll see VE replenish its losses with immigrants too.

Technically Grant lead the Army of the Tennessee, the Army of the Potomac and later the combined Grand Army of the Republic.

If you're going to make history jokes, do it right.

OOC: He officially had command of all Union armies, but chose to lead in the Virginia theater.  Goldie's version is correct.

A+ work in this whole thread, especially goldie and Joe Kremlin. I'm golfclapping my ass off right now.

You guys are stupid. TOP will never get involved. If they did it would turn into IRON/Val being on the non-XX/Polar side and that'll never happen unless TOP wants to lose a war.

Hm, this is actually an interesting idea.

Technically General Grant lead the Army of the Cumberland, and eventually the Army of the Potomac, in addition to being placed in command of all Union forces upon moving east.

If you're going to nit-pick, do it right.

Also, hi VE!
