Ian Smith
The new flag looks inspired by the old Republic of Transvaal flag :) Indeed! ^_^ The Prinsenvlag represents the history of Rhodesia under Transvaal. The Voortrekkers Wagon Shield represents the role of the Afrikaner and Anglo-British people in South Africa as a whole, while the Coat of Arms is the coat of arms of Rhodesia (1965-1979) modified to fit in the Wagon Shield and represents Rhodesians and Indigenous alike (the last ones are represented by the "Zimbabwe Bird"). Evangeline Anovilis
"This ongoing debate in Rhodesia-Nyasaland is by all means a stain on the African order. While the cause of humanitarian intervention may justify the obvious breach of sovereignity happening here, the enforcement of immigration quotas seems more like a reinforcement of racism than a measure for tolerance. While one may be concerned about the indegenous black African population that currently seems to be a minority within Rhodesia, these laws to improve their status seem unfit and ignorant of the fact that we deal with human beings, not mere cattle or inanimate objects. There ought to be a more humane solution than restriction of personal freedom and forced resettlement." -Konoe Nobuhisa, Governor-General of the Dai-Tōhoku Renpō

Perhaps Tianxia's self proclaimed will to enforce peace and ethics is not so strong after all?"-The Manila Times
