In addition, both alliances agree to maintain a high road of diplomacy that will benefit both alliances in the future. [u][size=4][b]Article I: Sovereignty and Respect[/b][/size][/u] Sparta and the Guru Order agree to uphold the sovereignty of their alliance and agree to respect the other's existence. [u][size=4][b]Article II: Offensive War[/b][/size][/u] If either Sparta or the Guru Order commit an aggressive attack on a third party alliance, the other signatory is not obligated to partake in the offensive war, but is encouraged to. [u][size=4][b]Article III: Defensive War[/b][/size][/u] If either Sparta or the Guru Order are attacked by a third party alliance, the other signatory agree to take up arms and march to the defense of the attacked signatory, may it be through military means or economic aid. [list=1] [*]If a third party ally of Sparta or the Guru Order is attacked and requires their defense, it is entirely optional for either Sparta or the Guru Order to come to the defense of that third party ally. Both alliances are not obligated to defend that third party ally but are encouraged to if the other signatory requests their assistance. [/list] [u][size=4][b]Article IV: Intelligence and Communication[/b][/size][/u] Both Sparta and the Guru Order agree to share intelligence and communication that is detrimental to the well-being and sovereignty of the other. Both will work to keep the other informed of relevant information and agree not to withhold it. [size=4][b][u]Article V: Cancellation[/u][/b][/size] If Sparta or the Guru Order feel that the treaty is no longer serving its purpose any longer, they agree to inform the other of the cancellation of the treaty and to allow a minimum of seventy-two hours to pass before the treaty is considered null and void. Both Sparta and the Guru Order agree to inform the other of cancelling in privacy and agree that any intentional violations of the Articles will result in immediate cancellation.
