Kankou
I don't care much for Xion, just pointing out a possible hole in Yawoo's thoughts. For that matter, I have no idea what I wrote to get censored.
TheShammySocialist
Ah, my comment was more in response to Shammy's post saying it was a precedent, Frau Kankou. The problem with the term "serious effort" is it is very ambigious, and can be very easily argued that because of X and Y that Z was a serious effort and thus should then count. I really don't see the problem with keeping it as only people with nations can vote.
y u so picki?!?!1 That being said, I do believe that some people, who are in the process of transitioning from one country to another, should be able to have the right to vote. I mean, hell, GM's have to have nations right? I was transitioning from one country to another while I was a GM, rerolling from Sweden to New England. No one called me on it, because they knew I was going to be here. What about people who are transitioning from one country to another who just don't have the nation yet, but we know are going to be here? By the way I'm interpreting current rule, anyone without a CNRP nation can't vote, and we should make sure that we close that gap, so that people who are in "transition" get the right to vote. Edit: I'm not really trying to be argumentative here, but since this issue is one that has arisen, I believe it should be addressed in some shape or form, just so things are clarified on any future instances of this same nature.
In order to close the gap between people that maybe will get land and maybe won't I suggested that we have the people giving them land post whenever they vote in a poll confirming that land will be transferred over. I think that would solve the problem, if we really want to proceed with giving people without nations the ability to vote.
