[center]The Brazilian military was one of the first things on schedule for the new Monarch. In total from all of the states 30,000 initial volunteers showed up, a small number but a good start. A march began to show the governments standing control of the region. General Costa was given the position at the head of the military. Construction would begin on air force and naval assets. Military bases were constructed, until they were finished military bases from Gallifrey and the Umbrella Commonwealth would be used. The goal for the end of the year was 150,000 active army, and 100,000 reserve army.[/center]

All orders for the military have been finished and the navy launched to sea for immediate training in international waters in the Southern Atlantic. The whole fleet would be involved in the training of the new navy and the entire routine was filmed, excluding crucial military tactics. The fleet would begin with retreat and staging tactics, then it would move on to attack and landing methods on the coast of Brazil. Meanwhile in Brasilia an air show was staged for the civilians and the public to know that the Brazilian Air Force was ready for anything. As the Valkerie swooped down to the crowd cheers would be heard from patriotic loyalist civilians. They would all chant "God save the King" and other patriotic chants as the air show unfolded. The Mexicans, Athenians and AUP were all notified of the naval drills to avoid a scuffle.

The Brazilian army in light of global wars has decided to begin the construction of a SOSUS network throughout the coast of the kingdom in hopes of detecting enemy submarines. Construction would begin immediately and is expected to be finished late in the year.
