Private - Windsor Castle

Dominic walked quickly down the hallways of Windsor Castle to his office where his team of royal advisors were already seat. His attire was just a simple suit and his hair fell loosly to his shoulders in a messy tangle with the "just out of bed" look. He wasnt just out of bed, he was just too lazy to sort his hair out for a meeting like this. As he entered the room, everyone went to stand up because of his rank, he shook his hands and told them to stay seated as he made his way to his own chair and sat.

"Gentlemen, England is in a deplorable state, what are we going to do about it?" he said immediately as he poured himself a coffee. Looking around the table whilst he waited for a reply he noticed most of the men around the table were old, relics of the old United Kingdom, the new United Kingdom and all the bastardised incarcerations of England since. Once this meeting was over, they would be forced to retire and new, younger faces would take their place. A fresh beat to Government.

"Your highness, we have put together a regeneration plan for national infrastructure and military infrastructure aswell as social welfare reforms aimed at getting people into education or work who presently are not. The NHS is to be reviewed and restructured for a more efficient healthcare system and we have got a list of countries that we believe should be dealt with by the diplomatic staff at the foreign office as we broaden our horizon and begin diplomatic missions abroad. However, we do have one problem, and that is the damage caused by Ireland when they attacked Britain a few months ago. I believe it is prudent for you to travel to Ireland and arrange a payment plan or arrange compenstation from the Irish to cover the costs of rebuilding and repairing the damage they inflicted against civic instituions that were affected by their attacks" said one of the older advisors.

"I will sort that out soon enough when I begin my tour of the British Isles. The military is of a top priority, we need to be able to defend the country from all threats, how many men do we have available at the minute?".

"Sir we have one Mechanised Infantry Brigade, two squadrons of Typhoons and no navy to speak of. However, the Pennine bunker complex houses all the equipment we will need to support a regular army of one hundred and fifty thousand men." replied one of the Generals.

"Right, see too it gentlemen, you military types need to get the military up and running, and the rest of you get to work sorting out the state of this country. I want people to be proud of being English within the year".

Plans have been announced by the Government today to rebuild and renovate all of the ruins presently registered with the new National Heritage across England and Wales. This move also includes Hadrians wall, which will be rebuilt to its former state. The project has been hailed by historical societies across the country and is seen as a bid to bring back the past to remind us of our history.

All restored structures will be opened to the public on completion as museums or sights of historical interest for tourist.

In other news, work has finally begun across the stricken cities and towns of the nation after the Irish war against our former Germanesqe Government. The Government has not released an official statement on the matter, but it is widely believed that talks may be held between London and Dublin over the bill for this task.

MoD - Classified

England would be a nuclear state, and since the Indepenance was gained, and using data and reverse engineering from the Irish nuclear weapons confiscated from the British annexation of Ireland. Using the data collected, highly advanced computer projections and experiments lead to a series of digital tests, that would be accurate down to the smallest form of measurment.

Fission bombs were developed first using this process of computerised experiments and simulations, and soon after, thermonuclear weapons. Once discovered, Ministry of Defence Facility, codenamed Porton Down began the manufacture of nuclear warheads ranging from tactical yields in artillery and small missiles, from twenty megaton thermonuclear ICBM's.

Facilities at RAF Greenham Common would be renovated and rebuilt in places to allow the contruction of land based ICBM silos, aswell as the construction of a complex network of command bunkers that would be used in the event of a large scale war and would be manned twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.

Other warheads were deployed to Royal Navy Base Portsmouth, to be fitted inside the new SSBN's that would be entering service over the next months.

The Kingdom was nuclear armed, and it would remain a secret. RAF Greenham Common would operate as a duel usage base for the English Space Program which would act as a cover for the true purpose of the base.

Over the horizon RADAR stations would be established across the Nation to provide full coverage of the Kingdoms airspace, and the airspace of its surrounding Nations for up to a thousand miles. Aswell as OTH RADAR stations, Synthetic Apature RADAR stations would be established to compliment SAR satellites that would be launched over the Kingdom to assist in its multilayered detection networks. Installations for both OTH and SAR facilities, would be guarded by a company of MIM-104 Patriot Missile Platoons consisting of two batteries and a company composed of three starstreak light vehicle mounted missile platoons.

Mobile RADAR networks would be established through the use of vehicle mounted AESA emitters to ensure the static RADAR network, if disabled in a war, will only be down for a limited time before the mobile network is re-established. It would also allow for RADAR to be present where the geography does not permit 100% static RADAR coverage. Furthermore, infrared, thermographic and optical sensors would be established in key locations of the RADAR network where the probablity of holes is highest.

To compliment the muliple layers of RADAR coverage, a fully mobile Anti Aircraft Warfare network would be established using easily moved and deployable forces. The backbone of this network would be comprised of several specialised Brigades that would be attached to other formations in the Army to provide a Nationwide Air Defence System. Long to Intermediate range defence would come in the form of the S-400 long range batteries and Patriot Batteries, closely followed by the highly mobile forces of the Warrior III Vehicles and Assault Recon Jeep Mounted Starstreak Missile platoons. These would offer nationwide, regional and local air defence for cities, bases, and formations of military units whilst on operations.

To further extend the Kingdoms RADAR capabilities, E-3 Sentry AWAC jets would constantly be patrolling the skies of the Nation and out to sea in the Atlantic and North Sea with at least five squadrons of fighter aircraft constantly patrolling the Kingdoms airspace using its links to the AWAC's and other fighters in the area to share data. This process can be reversed as ground based RADAR would send information to the AWAC's or directly to the fighters with targetting data to further aid the air superiority of the aircraft should the Kingdom come under attack.

Two squadrons of B-1R's would always be in the sky at any one time to assist in fire support for the fighters. The B-1R's would be outfitted with an AESA RADAR system and a Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod to give greater RADAR data and positive target identification, autonomous tracking, coordinate generation, and precise weapons guidance from extended standoff ranges. Using designs from BAE, the addition of more hardpoints on each bomber allowed the jet to carry twenty long range air to air missiles, most notably, the AIM-54 Phoenix.

The extent of the RADAR network under construction would give the Kingdom a massive heads up to any any surface warships approaching or near the Kingdoms coastline. Due to this advantage, a Naval Defence Initiative would be constructed to defend against attacks from the sea.

Working in direct co-operation with the OTH RADAR network, the Kingdoms main long range defences would come in the form of its anti ship ballistic missiles. Mounted on TEL's, the ASBM's would be deployed in platoon strength around the coastline kept hidden using the natural foliage and camoflague nets. Whilst it would be obvious they would not remain hidden, the Ministry of Defence would have the locations of the ASBM Brigade's platoons continually shifting to prevent any sort of observational pattern occuring which would make them easier to target. To compliment the ASBM's and the OTH RADAR, specialised satellites would be deployed to assist the ASBM's targetting computers and guidance systems. Electro Optical satellites, a SAR satellite and three NOSS satellites. In addition to the extremly long range coastal defence, Gryphon Transporter Erector Launcher's would take up positions in specially designated, heaily fortified locations along the coastline. These launchers would fire the Tomahawk Anti Ship Missiles at incoming enemy shipping.

For close in coastal defence, Harpoon block III's would be mounted on the back of military trucks in quad launchers. These Harpoon Trucks would work closer to the coastline and have an Assault Recon Jeep Mounted Starstreak Missile platoons for close in anti air protection. These closer systems of defence would also move around every few weeks to prevent any sort of pattern emerging that would make them easier to attack and destroy.

To aid in the detection of submarines, Sonobuoys would be strung out twenty four miles off the coastline to detect any submarines that ventured into the area. To assist the sonobouys, Astute Class attack submarines would constantly patrol the territorial waters of the Kingdom aswell as the EEZ of the Kingdom. In addition to this, several P-3 Orion aircraft would patrol the skies for ASW support.

NetOps
The 150,000 man NetOps force would be spread out across many facilities and be tasked to defend up to 15,000 networks and well over 7,000,000 Government and Military Computers. The network defences include sensors, software and signatures to detect and detain malicious code. When a cyber event occurs, the system will grade it based on magnitude, scope, apparent intended target. Once it has identifed the mangitude, scope and apparent intended target it will be able to isolate whether or not it is an attack by a group, a program, or even a sovereign entity. If it is a program, it will attempt to sniff the packets and look at the code of the virus. If it is a human it will to look at the packet flow to see what commands, instructions, and protocols are being used in the breach, this however is just the role of the Strategic Cyber Defence Division. The Strategic Cyber Offence Division's objective is to take the online battle to the enemy in the aftermath of a cyber attack. Moreover in a time of war, the Offence Division will activity attack military command and control networks of the OPFOR to cause disruption in their lines. The Strategic Cyber Tracking Division's objective is to work with both the Offensive and Defensive Divisions to trace attacks to their point of origin. In times of war, ontop of the tracing duties, this division will activily seek out and track radio signals and other transmissions from the OPFOR to track enemy positions and use the data to raidly deploy Military Forces to the area.

All equipment used in NetOps has been manufactured within the Kingdom to avoid hardware loopholes that can be exploited by foreign nations.

Strategic Rocket Command
Domestic defence contractors have installed an intricate network of Counter-RAM facilities and a multi layered Air Defence Network. Furthermore, alongside this major undertaking, the Strategic Rocket Command will co-operate heavily with SatOps in the development of a multi layered missile shield. In charge of the Missile Shield will be the Strategic Rocket Defence Division, a division which will operate theatre and strategic missile defences to protect Republican or Allied forces against conventional or ballistic missile attack. The Strategic Rocket Observation Division is tasked with working closely with the SatOps Satellite Missile Observation Division to detect hostile missile launches against the Kingdoms territory, allies or other interests. Finally the Strategic Rocket Offence Division is the mainstay of the Kingdoms strategic deterrance. Fielding theatre missiles and intercontinental missiles, the offensive division is by far one of the deadlier branches of the military tree. With launch mediums raging from TEL launchers and hardened missile silos to SSBN's and air launched ballistic missiles, the offence division is tasked with responding to any large scale missile attack against the Kingdom be it conventional or WMD.

SatOps
SatCom's 150,000 personel force is tasked with observing and maintaining the 70 military satellites of the Kingdom. Broken down into three distinct divisions, each has a specific task aimed to further increase efficiency and response times. The Satellite Missile Observation Division was formed to moniter forty Missile Launch Detection and Transmission Satellites. This paticular division works in close collaboration with Strategic Rocket Command. The Satellite Reconnaissance Division was created to moniter ninety spy satellites which in turn watch for possible threads to the Kingdoms Sovereignty and Interests. Furthermore the Reconnaissance Division also moniters forty Synthetic Aperture Radar Satellites which have been modified to also provide high-range-resolution ground moving target indication (GMTI), as well as SAR imaging and high-resolution digital mapping. The Satellite Communications and Navigation was created as an afterthought for the military. Tasked with maintaining twenty eight NavCom satellites, this divisons aim to to ensure the continuation of communications throughout the military. This divisions works in close collaboration with the Strategic Cyber Defence Division and the Strategic Cyber Tracking Division.

Lancaster Fortress, Headquarters for Lord Commander Stark and the Northern Army

With the Lord of Lancasters Division at full strength, it was ordered North to man the wall being constructed along the English/Scottish border. Based in a series of bases along the wall, the Lords Division would protet the northern border, inspecting all vehicles that would pass through the checkpoints, which over time, would become large gatehouses, six lanes across with reinforced blastproof doors that could be closed in under a minute. The wall, made out of reinforced concrete would be wide enough for six men to walk the top abrest, and high enough to prevent climbers. A second fence, running ten meters infront of the wall, would be protected along the top with razor wire to furthet deter those who would wish to enter England illegally.

The wall would only be closed in a time of war, national crisis, or if Scotlish and English relations deteriorated, something Dominic did not image would come to fruitation.

As recruitment across the north continued, enough men were raised and trained to create the Duke of Yorks Division. Ancient rivalry between the Red Rose of Lancashire and the White Rose of Yorkshire would of course flare up, but York and Lancaster were to become to two most fortified cities in the north of England.

The Duke of York, commanded not by a duke, but by Major General Reid. His forces were comprised of two guards batallions, four mechanised infantry batallions, one artillery batallion, one medical and HQ batallion and two armoured batallions. Whilst the Lord of Lancasters Division was more infantry based and far more flexable, the Duke of Yorks Division was far heavier and faster. Both divisions designed to work independantly and co-operativly with maximum flexibility. The White Rose Division would spread out to bases across the five northern counties before being rota'd onto the wall at the end of the year.

Finally, the northern army played host to a logistics regiment. Two batallions would go north with the Red Rose Division, whilst the other three would remain with the White Rose Division.

Aldershot, Headquarters for Lord Commander Lannister and the Southern Army

The Southern Army was comprised of the Kings Division, The Iron Division and The Desert Rats Division. The Kings Division had the same structure as the Red Rose Division, as did the Iron Division share its structure with the White Rose Structure, but the Desert Rats were a mixed formation. Comprised of two armoured batallions, two mechanised infantry batallions, two artillery batallions, one medical/HQ batallion and three air assault infantry batallion, it was a highly flexable force. Lord Lannister had already proposed to the King to have the Army change its recruitment quota to allow 120,000 soldiers, to ensure that all the national Wardens could be budgeted enough money to maintain a flexable, third division, based on his structuring.

East and West

Both following the same structure as the Red and White divisions in the North. Lords Bolton and Baratheon had both pledged support to Tywins request to the King, as did Lord Stark.

Contractors and Government building agencies are progressing at a rapid rate across the nation in their aims to restore English infrastructure after the Irish war against the previous regime. After gaining twelve billion pounds in compensation from the Irish Government after lengthy negotiations with King Anthony, it is expected that money will be left over after the project has finished of an estimated five billion.

MP's outside Westminister Palace have vows to use whatever money is left over, will be used to enhance the national health service aswell as fund more schools across England and Wales.

As the newly completed air defence and radar network began picking up the massive aerial forces that were in operations over Northern Ireland, a passing satellite overhead took pictures as it crossed over Ireland and continued on its orbit. The images revealed that Northern Ireland was udner attack. On the ground, the Northern Army was placed on a high alert status and the airforce sent up two squadrons of Typhoons to guard the airspace.

The RAF began making an RQ-170 stealth UAV ready for a mission. It would take off and begin its journey from RAF Leemings in Yorkshire.

The RQ-170 flew at high altitude, using its stealthy design to avoid detection. As it made its way over Northern Ireland and approached Derry, its sensors and cameras started collecting data and filming the devestation that was taking place by the Scottish airforce. Moving over the coastal side of Derry, it began detecting landing craft moving towards the shore.

The UAV stayed on station for a little longe before returning home to RAF Leemings.

After the balls up with Scotland and Germany, Lord Stark returned the Northern Army to barracks and the wall would once again be manned. But with the shuffle in Government, the command line had changed for outside of the military.

Chain of Command
-Prime Minister Max Fisher
--Sovereign and head of the armed forces - King Robert Baratheon the First
----Hand of the King and Lord Commander of the NOrthern Army, Lord Eddard Stark
-----Albions Wardens South, East and West

Whilst the King still retains many powers, including the power to declare war and deploy the Army, as the sovereign is whom the military swears allegience too, Parliament, more specifically the Prime Minister or the Deputy Prime Minister, can overturn any order made by the King. However, any usage of the military must be permitted and signed off by the Sovereign.

As the Head Diplomat for the nation, the King can sign and treaties on behalf of the Kingdom of Albion, but unless specified otherwise, they must be ratified by Parliament. The Sovereign can also dissolve Parliament and create a provisional Parliament until a general election is held. Only the PM or Deputy PM can permit the deployment or launching of nuclear weapons.

Today the Government announced plans to return an Englishman to the moon amid speculation that the launch facilities at Greenham Common are to be rebuilt. Nearly a decade ago, the former United Kingdom landed a man on the moon after a series of failed manned space flights which resulted in the deaths of seven astronauts.

After an extensive campaign, the public has managed to force Parliament to discuss the matter of unification with Scotland. After the terms imposed on Albion after the last attempt at unification, which bypassed German policy, an ePetition signed with nearly forty million signatures has been presented to the House of Lords. It is unknown what ramifications this may have and how Parliament will tackle this petition for unification, but what is certain, is that it will be the first real challenge for Max Fishers Government since coming into power.

The Governments goals of returning a man to the moon in the next ten years may have been stopped before they really took off. During a launch of the first manned English space mission for nearly twenty years, the spacecraft exploded in the atmosphere. The causes are still unknown, but what we do know, is that the spacecraft was a highly experimental prototype.

ASA officials indicated that a fault in the fuel lines may have been to blame, but what is known, is that moments before the explosion, there was a rapid drop of pressure in the cockpit.

All members of the mission were killed instantly and their families have been notified.

With Scotland now an independant nation, border security was once again reinstated with the northern country. New Hadrians Wall was manned by not only Albion Border Agency, but by elements of the Lord of Lancasters Division under the direct command of Lord Stark. No overbearing military presence would be on the border. The gates main gateways would be shut with the exception of the smaller, sub gates built into the main gateways for the passing of traffic through controlled checkpoints.

Other than than standard cross border procedures, no other changes would be made.

A series of exercises were put together to ensure that all three branches of the military could work in tangent across a wide array of operations from naval warfare, land warfare, air supremecy and amphibious assault.

The operations would take place along the east coast in the North Sea to prevent Ireland getting the wrong idea.

The Albion Space Agency is preparing for its third test launch today of the now infamously dubbed "Redemption" rockets. The test will once again be unmanned and extra precautions have been undertaken to prevent loss of life on the ground or any further accidents.
