I don't suppose you can get 7 ghosts to change to World Task Force and another couple to join GATO, can you? I for one do [b]not[/b] welcome my new MK overlords and will miss GATO at the top. I finally remembered to wear their pip.

MK knocking UPN down and GATO passing UPN would be okay, though...

So I heard of this quaint little alliance named the [color="#48D1CC"][b]Mushroom Kingdom[/b][/color] who, exactly 1000 days after its birth, finally became sanctioned. However, I imagine its members will provide a far more fitting commentary on this subject than I could possibly provide. Let the smugbombs begin?*

(* - I feel obliged to remind everyone about various restrictions regarding one word posts and smiley spam. I imagine the Moderating Team might take a dim view of 14 straight pages of nothing but " :smug: ". Go [url="http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=83949"]here[/url] instead.)

In other news, the [color="#008000"][b]Green Protection Agency[/b][/color] moves a fifth of a point ahead of the [color="#ff0000"][b]New Pacific Order[/b][/color] thanks to a modest gain, while the [color="#008000"][b]Viridian Entente[/b][/color] puts a third of a point between themselves and [color="#48D1CC"][b]The Democratic Order[/b][/color] to solidify their hold on sixth. The [color="#ff8c00"][b]Orange Defense Network[/b][/color] and [color="#ff8c00"][b]FOK[/b][/color] swap a third of a point between them, allowing the former to move back up into ninth place. Meanwhile, the [color="#800080"][b]United Purple Nations[/b][/color] loses two nations, but just barely manages to avoid dropping into 12th place, holding their lead over the [color="#48D1CC"][b]Mushroom Kingdom[/b][/color]'s full-point gain by only a margin of 0.01.

Other than these moves, there was little else to talk about today. The [color="#663300"]Global Alliance And Treaty Organization[/color] suffers a small loss but is still within a point of a sanction, while a half-point gain from [color="#ff8c00"]The Order Of The Paradox[/color] (which ordinarily would've been good enough for Tier One) is almost certainly overshadowed by other gains on the day. The [color="#ff8c00"]Independent Republic Of Orange Nations[/color] and [color="#48D1CC"][i]The Grämlins[/i][/color] suffer double-digit losses, while [color="black"][i]LoSS[/i][/color] and [color="purple"][i]M*A*S*H[/i][/color] are dropped from the race entirely thanks to the [color="#48D1CC"][b]Mushroom Kingdom[/b][/color]'s surge.

It's not really UPN hating as much as it is GATO loving. Very few alliance have been more crap than GATO and it was great seeing them sanctioned again. The last time I wore a GATO pip was when I was GATO before GWIII.
