Though they are each separated by a matter of a few weeks, they each are linked, and it is fitting to mark them at once. Three years ago, Justitia left this fetid world. A Senior Moderator, called up by [url="http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showuser=22"]Moderation[/url], empowered by Admin, trained by [url="http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showuser=2"]Thoreau[/url], for two years She showed us what Justice is: The scales [b]and [/b]the sword. Nearly lost, Her parting words were saved from the fires by Her followers, and by Her example and word Her cult springs eternal, the living memory, the scale and the sword manifest. Three years ago, the Vox Dei declared a suspension of the charter of Vox Populi, admonishing us all--Vox and observer alike--never to forget nor abandon the ideals for which so many fought so long. "To the world at large, we give warning. This is not the end of the struggle, for the struggle...is unending," Doitzel tells us, "Do not relax your guard..." We very few remember [url="http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=58165"]his warning[/url] and our ideals. We remember that "this victory is not permanent," and we stand always ready. Though they are yet embers, we stoke the fire still. Three years ago, the vessel through which those ideals would be carried forward in the time to come was founded: Cult of Justitia. In our internal discussion of this occasion, Justitians made it clear: no pomp this year, our example serves us well enough. So, you stand informed of our heritage and mission, and in these three years you have witnessed our commitment to it. Today, there are few with a purpose and an existence so defined as we have have, and so there are fewer still who understand us.
