Evangeline Anovilis
In the harbor of Koper, soon the ships gathered. Croatia, secretely receiving funds from a blonde private entrepeneur, had started producing ships itself. With a war in the North, the Duchy had to expect delays and it was not going to accept delays. Therefor, production had to be within Koper and while this meant more influence by the shipbuilding company (owned by a blonde entrepeneur), it was better than to risk having gaps in the Naval Expansion Program. Beginning small, the Naval yard had worked up, from corvettes to now battlecruisers. And soon, there would be escort carriers too. Evangeline Anovilis
Under the command of Rear Admiral Ankovic, the Erzherzog Eugen, as well as the Stjepan Sarkotic left the port of Koper, to relocate to the Southern Atlantic, just about 2000 km before the Gallifreyan coast.Reports had come from the region about terrorists and maybe they would pose a threat to the trading routes running through the area. Evangeline Anovilis
The complete High Seas fleet (all ships that are destroyers and larger) were transferred to Fort Novi Zadar in Croatian West Africa, where they were to be ready to leave port within 10 minutes, upon notice. The Croatian government called a conference to revise the defense plans, given Germany's hostility.
Evangeline Anovilis
While Paris burns, the Croatian Secret Service infiltrated the French Ministry of the Defense. Adalbert Meunier, Vicidalian in the service of the Compagnie had already prepared for infiltration before and used his natural fluency in French, as well as a few counterfeit documents to gain a position in the Ministry. Now that all order had broken down, however, he was rather free to copy the lists and specifications of French fleet units, to send them back to the Compagnie (which in turn sent it to Croatia) afterwards. As he was finished, he placed a little package in the archive and as he left, the whole office with the evidence went up. This information was maybe not of greatest importance, but still, it was better to keep a watchful eye, before getting surprised afterwards. Evangeline Anovilis
The Croatian Ducal Airforce now introduced its first three Strike Wings operating the Ju-78. Over the course of the next months, the airforce shall receive two further Strike Wings. Also, an order of 80 Ju-40A seaplanes was placed, as Croatia trusts in the capabilities of Juutilainen Aviatik to deliver within time of the Vicidalia-class' launch.
