Who Do We Think We Are?

The Democratic Order was founded back in January of 2007 on the simple basis of maintaining neutrality admist the chaotic maelstrom of Cyber Nations politics by avoiding treaty webs and aggressive behavior. We as an alliance focus simply on fostering growth amongst all of our nations, and camaraderie amongst our membership. Our tenets are basic, but that has undoubtedly contributed to the longevity of the alliance. Neutrality, persistent internal development, and an easy-going membership clearly define the alliance. A relative lack of compulsory work or expected activity allows our members to decide for themselves how much time they wish to dedicate to the game and the alliance, and as such makes the alliance a more hospitable and pleasant place to be.

Why Should You Join?

Typical services are available, such as grants for new and developing members, trade circles, and technology deals organized by our Ministry of Commerce, as well as a respectable wealth of information in our Nation School and from our veteran members. Beyond that, you should join simply if you want to focus more on developing your nation and enjoying the company of good fellows rather than going to war for reasons you may not agree with. The Democratic Order protects its nations from unwarranted aggression, but it also expects it members to obey and respect its neutrality and refrain from acts of wars.

Who Runs The Democratic Order?

The Democratic Order is represented by our Chancellor, Nactigal, and is led by our Senate, consisting of Senators arioch, BraveLeader, Colonel Milienius, Lloyd, MorganRaelin and High Senators Mcclaud, Nactigal, Rychro Anrise and Theo Cupier. All of whom are willing to answer any questions you may have concerning the alliance.

Thank you for considering us.

I've been in this alliance for nearly five years now. That probably says something about both the alliance and myself, but let's just assume that I'm not totally insane and utterly deranged and that this alliance clearly has some merit that keeps me glued to it like a fly on flypaper. Or a fly on a light bulb. Seriously, have you ever checked to see how much dead insect life is just lying on your light bulbs? It's like a disturbing bug graveyard right in your kitchen. Ever see the movie "Sunshine?" My guess is that the flies and what not experience the exact same horrifying-but-mesmerizing death that most of the people in that movie do as they experience the light of the sun from virtually arm's length. Seemed pretty cool in the movie, so I guess that's why the flies do it. Suppose those flies really know what's going on.
