A medium sized passenger jet enters Bergstorm International Airport at around noon. In it are a few tourist, a few scholars, and of-course, President Dominic, and Harley Kokoro, minister of foreign affairs. After they land, they wait at a area, to be seen with the officials of Texas. Harley was sure to give a quick, short message saying that we are at the airport, and the area we are in.

When the leaders exited their aircraft into the hormonal a three young men dressed in black suits with black ties approached the delegates. One young man was walking in front of the other three. He had broad shoulders and was about six foot three. He towered over nearly everyone he walked by - and he kept a straight face while doing it. His cowboy hat was perfectly curved and his metal badge glistened off his suit jacket as they all approached. His slicked back black hair matched perfectly with his ink black tie. The tall young man extended his broad shoulder and shook both of their hands. "Mr. President, Minister Kokoro, welcome to Texas. I am Brian Knox of the Texas Rangers. These three gentlemen belong to the Secret Service. We'll be guarding y'all until your trip here has ended."

"I can take you and anyone else who you need for diplomacy to a meeting room until the motorcade arrives; there are refreshments inside." Brian and his men escorted the President and Minister to the room where they found water, fruit, odd kinds of cheese - basically a lot of finger food. It was good finger food.

After only seven minutes and fourteen seconds of waiting Secretary of State, Matt Damon arrived with a limousine to take President Dominic, the Minister, and anyone else who needed to go to the President's House. Matt met the men right outside as police carefully watched onlookers who eyed the foreign president with interest. "Mista' President, Mista' Minista'" said Matt with almost a New York accent, "Welcome to the Republic of Texas, it's great to have you here." The clouds above them shielded the sun from their faces as a cool breeze rolled in.

Upon arriving to the President's House, Secretary Damon escorted the men to the President's office. Brian Knox opened the doors to the President's Office and closed them behind the President and the Minister. President Gates extended his hand, "Mr. President, Mr. Minister, welcome to Texas! I am sure you have heard that a few times... Please take a seat." A friendly looking black man came in carrying a few glasses of water on a tray, "Thank you George, I appreciate it." Benjamin's family had a long history of having butlers and George was a pretty amazing one, although slightly different then your average British butler. He hate dinner with the president and his family all the time, and vise versa. It was a formal-informal-friendly-business-partnership. "So gentlemen, what do you have to propose?" Ben rested his arms on his desk and folded his hands, ready to listen.

Dominic looked around for a second. As a person living in a cold Newfoundland for years, and being in his early 40's now, wasn't really used to this warmer environment. "My friends I would like to propose a alliance between our two republics. As well as a trade agreement." Then Harley began to speak for the first time they got there. She would look like she is in her mid 30's, and usually was a tomboy. She had jet lag for the time being, and was tired for most of the time up till a while ago. And burning up from Texas air, but maybe that was only because the two of them are used to sub-zero temperatures. "I believe it's mostly for trade tho, our continent that we share seems stable, or more such than Asia anyway."

ooc- Knew something was wrong in my writing, just didn't know what. I'll try not to write just after I wake anymore I guess.

OOC: It's okay. I am sorry I didn't know she was a she!

IC:

"I am definitely open to trade. However a MDP might be in question. I take strategic alliances very seriously Mr. President. I am willing to create one with you, but we will have to work on it - in time. Do you have anything to propose about a trade treaty? And if you don't mind me asking, what are some of the major exports and imports of your fine nation, Mr. President?"

OOc- Eh, I'm still a newb. I'll learn how to do these with time.

Dominic would look around for a couple more seconds before his response. He seemed to enjoy the looks of the interior. "Well, I can't blame you for the MDP. That part may be questionable. We'll have to see in time of what we are able to do. As for what we export, mainly steel, home electronics, iron ore, wiring, copper, and gold, as well as fish goods. Or so last I heard. We are also upgrading our oil industry, and in a few short years, may be one of the largest oil exporting countries on the planet. But that's a different story I guess. As for major imports, according to the latest information I saw, most agricultural products, coal, Aluminium, and lead. I hope you look favourably on these."

Dominic takes out a cell phone from his pocket, and starts texting. A little while later, he speaks. "I think I happened to bring some paper on, give me a second to get what I need." He goes to were he left his suitcase, and took a paper and pen, then came back to be with the people. He would begin to write. "Well, I'm sure this will do what it can. But it still was fun to be here. My friends back home did their best to say what was to be advised."

An economic treaty between the Republics of Texas and Newfoundland.

------------
Article I. Non-aggression
------------

The republics of both Texas and Newfoundland agree that neither signatory shall, under any circumstance, wage war against the other, whether it be aggressive or as a result of treaty obligations. Furthermore, both shall make efforts to avoid circumstances that would put the two signatories at odds with one another.

-----------
Article II: Trade
-----------

To ensure that the industries and businesses of one country may be able to sell profitably to another, tariffs on such traded goods between the two nations are not to exceed 15%, as to encourage trade between the two republics.
--------------
Article III: Cancellation
---------------

In the event that either signatory feels that this treaty no longer accurately fits the relationship between these states, they may cancel it at any time, provided that they give the other signatory at least 48 hours prior notice.

"Well, hopefully you like it. If you would like to change anything before we make copies to sign, then please say. Other than that, it was fun being here."

Dominic would sign it as-well. As he puts his pen down after signing it, he speaks "well my friends, we did a wonderful thing. I guess we should make should make a copy of this, but now, I'll just take a picture of it on my cell." He takes out his cell-phone again, and takes a picture of it. "Well, it's low quality. When you get the chance, just put it on a scanner or something and send it to my E-mail, XXX@X.com. That way I may also have a good copy of this. Any-way it's about time we leave, it's been a pleasure being with you people." And with that, The president and the foreign affairs minister would go. Dominic called a cab, and in what felt to them as a few minutes, they went off to a airport to fly home.
