Aggressivenutmeg
Polls close with a startling win for the Communists Bjoern Arnesen, leader of the Norsk Arbeiderparti Oslo, Norway - The Royal Electorial Commission has announced the resaults of yesterdays election, revealing a startling win to the NAP and DAP, defying the expectations of many analysts, achiving a total of 313 seats in both the National elections and the Danish regional elections. The NAP has announced that they will be entering disscussions with the NKA-SAF (who themselves won a large portion of the vote) to form a government. These resaults strike a blow to the Conservative parties of Norway, including the incumbent Norsk Nasjonalistiskparti. The head of the socialist party made a statement earlier thanking the people of Norway for support the party. Other parties came in with much smaller percentages of the vote. In the national elections Norsk Nasjonalistiskparti won 126, the Fremskrittspartiet won 125, NKA-SAF won 120 seats and the Senterpartiet and Kristelig Folkeparti won 6 seats between the two. In the Danish regional elections; the DAP won 54 seats, the Fremskrittspartiet won 23 seats, the NFA-SAF won 19 and the Danske Nationale Parti won 14 seats and the Center Parti Danmark won 10 seats. All that remains now is for His Majesty to appoint Mr. Arnesen as Prime Minister of Norway, it is expected that this will occur in the next few days, with the Edleting governing the country until then.
Edited November 29, 2011 by Aggressivenutmeg
