Grand Papua, just as before, supports this motion. We wish that Rebel Army do not become the very vile regimes that it had fought against. We recognize that Cochin has done a wrong, but resorting to complete destruction, as is encourage by some of your allies, is not the just path to take.

It is not the responsibility of the defending party to contact the attacking party. The defending party’s primary responsibility is to defend itself by totally annihilating the enemy.

Whatever miscommunication the Kingdom of Cochin is blaming this situation on does not change the fact that their government was clearly warned numerous times by two different parties that the Rebel Army had not collapsed. They deliberately ignored those warnings because they intended to expand their empire and only backed down when the Sovereign Initiative threatened to use force.

Cochin’s leaders have shown us one thing, they only understand violence. Preventative actions need to be taken now so that Asia may have a better tomorrow. -Slavorussian Prime Minister

So nice of a European to tell Asians how to conduct our business. No matter how many people say something, until facts on the ground can be verified, the situation is left a mystery. Rebel Army made itself present, and Cochin has left. Just have Cochin pay for damages, and throw a little something more on the side, and be done with it,

Slavorussia is geographically closer to both the Kingdom of Cochin and Rebel Army than Marscurian Siberia, your point on location is moot.

What matters is that we are still in Asia, and are far more invested in the future of this continent.

We live in a globalized world. We are just as invested in Asia as the Kingdom of Cochin, Vaule or the United Federation of the East. Political situations there can ripple across land and sea to harm or help us. As an ally of the United Federation of the East and Athens we were asked to help however we can, so we will. We have responded with political support and will respond, if necessary, with military support.

We do not live in a globalized world. According to latest reports, over 99% of Marscurian Siberian imports and exports stay in Asia. Any instability in the continent poses the threat of collapsing our entire economy by removing a major trade partner. When nations march to war with the intent of destroying a nation, they rarely pay any heed to how others outside their small circle will be affected.

To: Serene Republic of Vaule
From: The Kingdom of Cochin

Greetings,

You may know about the recent issue resulting from a miscommunication between Kingdom of Cochin and Rebel Army. An unfortunate incident resulting from a simple miscommunication is being twisted into a cause of war by the Kingdom's enemies. If despite our willing to restore the status quo, these forces attempt to attack the Kingdom of Cochin, we hope we can depend on the Serene Republic of Vaule to help us defeat the aggressors.

Yours,

HH Kerala Varma,
The King of Cochin

To: The Kingdom of Cochin
Fr: The Office of the Imperator of the Serene Republic

While our nations once had significantly close ties, over time the diplomatic relationship between our countries has, in our view, degraded. From the situations in Mongolia and Xinyan in the not too distant past, to the current situation with Rebel Army, it has become more and more apparent that our governments no longer hold similar foreign policy views. We have often sought to maintain a balanced diplomatic relationship between the Kingdom of Cochin and our other regional ally the United Federation of the East in the interests of mutual security and regional stability.

Regarding the decision of the Kingdom of Cochin to withdraw its forces, as demanded by several other nations including our own, we express support for the decision of the Kingdom to comply with this demand and believe that it is an important step forward. Had this been a situation where a group of nations were undertaking hostile and aggressive action against the Kingdom of Cochin, then as an ally and treaty partner, we would justifiably support you. However, we consider the Kingdom of Cochin as the aggressor in this situation and will not be rendering any form of assistance should a military conflict take place between the Kingdom and nations allied to Rebel Army. Our government would consider such a conflict to be a response to the Kingdom of Cochin's aggression against Rebel Army. It is the position of the Serene Republic that while a willingness to return to the status quo is significant, it does not diminish the magnitude of the actions taken, or the culpability of the Kingdom of Cochin.

In my capacity as Imperator of the Serene Republic, with the support of the Parliament, pursuant to Article 9 of the Vaule-Cochin Mutual Defense Pact and Free Trade Agreement, I hereby announce our intention to cancel said treaty with immediate effect. As stipulated in Article 9, there will be a 72 hour period (OOC: Actual 72 hrs) prior to the cancellation of the treaty. Also, the Vaulian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cochin will be recalled to the Serene Republic for consultations.

Signed,

Forces from Greater Germany continously poured into the German Protectorate in Central Asia. Equipped in there XE-101 Xenias Combat Gear and various other instruments of destruction, the soldiers deployed to strategic areas along the Cochin border. Soldiers were deployed in the utmost secrecy and used absolute radio silence. Communication frequencies were also encrypted to the fullest, as were other various German communication networks being deployed. Artillery was spaced into strategic attack zones, as to not allow the enemy to conduct counter-battery fire. Satellites were positioned over the combat area, to transmit 3D and High Definition Images of Cochin defensive positions, which were transmitted to which were transmitted to the German General Staff. Intelligence from the old Dalmatia good-will border visits were also transmitted for planning operations.

Luftwaffe aircraft began to conduct combat air patrols along the Cochin border. Fighters were equipped with their basic assorted of air to air missiles. Luftwaffe bombers were fueled and armed to conduct bombing operations.

All Kreigsmarine Naval Commands placed all ships on alert. Submarines equipped with Anti-Ship Ballistic Missiles were deployed to the Indian Ocean and other strategic areas.

As of lately, Viking Activity in the northern indian Ocean and in Niflheim and Vandiemenland has been increasing, more of the ships making themselves visible as of lately. Some of these ships decided to try and stop by Cochin itself, trying to profit out of panic and alarmism, maybe they'd be able to send them some weapons, or maybe they'd be able to give civilians a lift out of the warzone...as usual, they were looking for business.

The Swedish Government had remained rather silent on the open world channels as things seemed to heat up in Central Asia and all across the globe, and things would remain that way, as the country went to STRATCON II. The III and VII Corps' vehicles and equipment continued to pour into the region, the areas around Baikonur a hive of activity as the Swedish Expeditionary Command prepared to shift their command center and equipment closer to the front. A number of the troops that now marched for the borders of Cochin were battle-experienced, having served with the Armies of Germany before enlisting with the army of their own nation when it gained its independence. Very few faces showed light as they marched to their forward positions, or as they dug and reinforced their fighting positions when they arrived at their destinations. The troops had moved into the region as quietly as possible, avoiding radio contact, their orders had already been handed down to them.

The Swedish Expeditionary Force had positioned itself along an axis that anchored its northern flank against Lake Balgash, with the bulk of its mechanized forces and armor centered in this region. Tanks were spread out evenly and in a wide fashion, to protect against air and missile strikes, their crews working with infantry to prepare hull-down positions. Troops settled in for long nights in their well-camouflaged holes, spread out across the farmland of Eastern Kazakhstan. Swedish soldiers ate freeze-dried, add-water meals or whatever they could scrounge after a long two days, and for some, three days, of travel. The III Corps, minus the Ostergotland Brigade, had the responsibility of anchoring the line all the way to Shymkent, which was held by elements of the Karlskrona Grenadiers Brigade from the VII Corps. The 5th Marine Expeditionary Unit had joined the III Corps, along with the Gotland Brigade, which had been temporarily reassigned to the III Corps.

To the south of Shymkent, the Ostergotland Brigade served as the anchor to the Grenadiers from Karlskrona, and held the strategic city of Tashkent, which also served as the staging point for the regrouping Battalion 1120, which had evacuated Kunduz, and had been flown north again on board tactical transports. The Swedish Expeditionary Force Command would set up its forward tactical headquarters at Tashkent as well, occupying parts of the city for its mobile communication and command systems. Protecting the skies over Tashkent, extra surface-to-air missile batteries and air-defense vehicles, all mobile units, had begun to set up in a perimeter around the city. The rest of the VII Corps, with the attached rangers of the Jamtland Ranger Brigade, would string out across the hills eastward and into the fertile Fergana Valley. Like their counterparts to the north, the VII Corps would settle in for the night, digging into the fertile soil, and praying that the holes they dug would not be their early graves.

Frequent air patrols by the Swedish Air Force, including forward-deployed SAF-9s to Tashkent would provide overwatch of the entire area. SAB-22 Tactical Strike Aircraft and SAU-47C UCAVs remained on standby, loitering farther to the west, ready to hit their afterburners at the first sign of trouble to provide close air support. SAF-1 Fighters would stay at a distance to the west, as well, while SAF-9s, and recently-arrived SAF-44s would patrol the borders. SMQ-10 Avenger UCAVs had forward-deployed to Tashkent's municipal airport in the Sergali District, and had begun operating along the entirety of the Southern Front, loitering over the troops protectively, their sensors providing additional mechanical "eyes" over the battlefield as they roved the night sky over the Swedish lines. SAT-400GS aircraft would loiter along the lines of troops, their extensive FLIR capabilities scanning across the border as they provided overwatch over long stretches of men huddled in their fighting positions.

Farther west and north, two SARC-135 Strategic Reconnaissance Aircraft continued to loiter nearby, gathering SIGINT and ELINT, their powerful sensors providing data to battlefield commanders. SAB-1 Strategic Bombers would loiter at a distance, with one squadron continually aloft, carrying a variety of ground attack as well as missile truck configurations. AWACS and refueling aircraft also loitered farther west, providing early warning capabilities, as well as airborne gas stations. On the ground, mobile sensor vehicles, carrying electro-optical sensor equipment as well as multi-band frequency-hopping radar had set up at various ranges from the border. Active electronic scanned array trailers were set up at various locations as well, providing early OTH radar coverage.

Corps, Brigade, and Regimental-level artillery deploy in scattered positions around the region, some units digging in their weapons, others opting to camouflage their positions. Mobile artillery forces begin preparing secondary and tertiary fall back positions, to avoid counter-battery fire. Orders are handed out, and most of the crews get whatever shuteye they can.

We have asked the Slavorussians to be involved, because they are a strong responsible party who unlike others have a proven track record of loyalty to allies.
We have always been nothing but loyal and humble servants. Others join you for the hopes of territories and treasures, while we have never taken anything for ourselves. We have never strayed, nor turned from our masters. However, we also find no fault in ending a war before it begins, and find no treachery in hesitance towards engaging in a conflict that would result in near-complete economic and military collapse for our nation. Should Cochin and Rebel Army not find a just compromise and peace, we will never abandon our allies, not only in Beijing, but also our allies in Rebel Army.

The flurry of former allies cancelling the treaties and even more nations joining the cowardly bandwagon of nations arraying itself to attack the Kingdom made things quite simpler for the General Staff Head Quarters in Cochin City. The entire armed might of the Kingdom is deployed to defend the realm from the hordes of enemies. The entire reserve forces are mobilized, the citizens of the Kingdom have all been evacuated to their Nuclear Shelter Bunkers and are awaiting the imminent message from the King.

The Kingdom has been for most periods of its history been surrounded by enemies intent on its destruction rather than allies. While normal day to day life did go on, the preparation for War had been instilled in the people at all times. The DEFCON ONE alert has been declared and all the triggers have fingers maintaining pressure on them. The Local Area Attrition Defense policy had been enacted all over the nation and the entire territory of the Kingdom became literally fortified as every single population center became a literal strong hold.

The overwhelming numerical superiority of the enemies ensured that victory will not be achieved, but the preparations done over decades would ensure that the Kingdom of Cochin would go down fighting for every last inch of its territory. From the northernmost villages of Pavlodar to the icy wastelands of Gangotri, from the easternmost villages of Tibet to the western most towns of Punjab, from the center lands of Bihar to the island realms in the two Oceans the citizens of the Kingdom are up in arms and ready to defend their lands from the oppressors. The world may call several names at Cochin but every single citizen from these territories knew better. Having known life before being in Cochin they knew of a Government that always cared for them, assured them their safety, peace and prosperity while asking for very little in return. The society in Cochin also knew of the ravaging war thirst of the nations of China and Europe, the war mongers who had destroyed countless nations and subjugated millions economically, politically and culturally and they knew the fate that awaited under the practitioners of cultural genocide such as the likes of Greater Germany and United Federation of the East.

The government of the Kingdom of Cochin had realized that war is inevitable. With every avenue of diplomacy exhausted all that remains was to fight for their lives and beliefs.

While the diplomatic traffic continued so did the deployments, Hellenic Middle Eastern Operations, the name of the expeditionary command had established a command in Dushanbe to begin the final preparations for the operations and command the forces throughout the war. By now all soldiers of the Fourth Army had been deployed and the final batch of vehicles was just about to arrive. As the Fourth Army was mostly a highly mobile Thracian formation the tank ratio was 3:1, for every M1 3 M1202s, in essence this meant there were 1,500 Mounted Combat Systems and 500 M1 Cerberus deployed. While the M1202 was smaller than the M1 and slightly less armed it would make up for it in speed and maneuverability. Almost everyone in the Fourth Army had served in multiple wars in various kind of conditions, while not as battle-hardened as the legendary First Army they would still have more experience in actual combat than the enemy. Scouts and units were placed along the Kyrgyzstan border with Tajikistan all the way to North-Eastern Afghanistan.

Meanwhile the bulk of the army would prepare to begin the attack, M1203s and M1204s were placed along the above mentioned borders at a safe distance, once the call was given they would be able to begin artillery strikes using information provided by the ISIS network.

Simultaneous to these deployments satellites over Asia would be focused on the border region, another squadron of U-2As would also watch this border region 24/7 to provide an even clearer image from the future combat zone than was the case now. This would double as a way to maintain information if the enemy managed to take down Athenian space assets.

CAPs were established over the forces in Tajikistan using F-1s and F-99s operating from airbases in Rebel Army, 5 squadrons of U-1s(3 B, 2 A) were maintained in bases within Tajikistan. The A squadrons would be used to bomb border position while the Bs would be used for ground support. The Fourth Army was ready.

From: Islz Cruz

Greetings,

To whomever recieves this message you are not alone in this world as it may seem. My name is George Rolf and I am the elected leader of the island nation of Islz Cruz, we have been watching this developing situation and fully it has spiralled out of control due to hostile influences that are of a greater threat than what ever yourselves what be. You clearly proved that you had accepted the responsibility of causing a mistake and were prepared to use diplomacy to handle the situation. However, this has clearly failed.

Whilst we do support your position we can not and will not provide military aid, I am sorry but I can not put through a course of action that would endanger my country at this time. I can however, evacuate a number of civilians from your nation to Islz Cruz if you so wish. We can not take many I am afraid but if the worse were to happen we can at least provide somewhere for some of the people of Cochin to continue to live even if their land is taken from them.

I will look for your expectant reply and shall have the vessels ready near your waters so that if accepted evacuation can begin immediatly.
A large cargo ship belonging to the Islz Cruz Oil and Gas Mining Corporation and a crusie liner contracted to the Islz Cruz Tourist Authority set sail out of port before heading towards Cochin waters. If questioned by any other vessels they would inform them that they were heading towards Cochin to assist in the possible evacuation of civilian population and would also inform them that at the current moment in time they were going to remain in international waters.

400,000 Land Forces troops would be deployed to several bases near the border of Cochin in Afghanistan and in West Pakistan, to prepare and train alongside Rebel Army military personnel. The Land Forces were organized in 4 Armies of 100,000 and further divided from there. They were equipped with the IMC Advanced Infantry Armor and the IMC F88 VX3 Assault Rifles. This would make them able to survive the fallout of a nuclear attack. Deployments began immediately, to ensure an immediate strike would be accomplished. The infantry would have 1000 IMC HBT-100's deployed with them, with others being prepared for later deployment. The artillery would be roughly 1500 of the IMC RRHU-50 and of the HAU230 Howitzers, both designed to be able to hit targets with pinpoint accuracy. The IMC MV-E1 & MV-T1 would be deployed, proving in tests to lower casualty rates on the battlefield.

The naval group meeting in the Southern Atlantic consisted of 3 Niamh Class Aircraft Carriers and 10 Dublin Class Nuclear Attack Submarines, each equipped with 1 nuclear warhead and dozens of anti-ship missiles. To accompany these, 3 Eamon Class Fast Battleships, 4 Robinson Class Missile Corvettes and 3 O'Kelly Class Nuclear Destroyers would join the battle group. Their goal was to rendezvous with the Athenian and Swedish fleets.

The air force was already deployed to East Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran. The air force was still using the imported CED, now German, aircraft. Roughly 50 squadrons of fighters and supporting squadrons were deployed to fight alongside Rebel Army and the Athenians. They began patrols along the border to gather information and to survey the land. Satellites were positioned over the region to locate major bases and other information. Drones were deployed to the area as well for closer support.

The world watched as the situation unfolded. People around the world watched in awe as millions of men and tons of war materiel moved into strategic positions in preparations for the largest conflict the world had seen in over a month. This truly would be the war to end all wars, for at least a week.

With millions of eyes glued to televisions broadcasting the ongoing diplomatic and military situation, The 21st Army and the 2nd Guards Tank Army left their bases unceremoniously. They rallied across eastern Kazakhstan in Karagandy and Zhambyl on both sides of Lake Balkhash. They were spread thinly enough so as not to suffer severe damage if the Cochin military decided to go on the offensive with airstrikes.

Seeing as how the Cochin army had pulled out to it's pre-invasion borders, the soldiers pouring into Central Asia took up positions across the RA-Cochin frontier, entrenching themselves as they awaited further reinforcements. Gorsee City would end up being completely surrounded and cut off by Rebel forces. The numbers for each of the two frontiers would eventually total 450 000 soldiers plus 3000 tanks and 50 000 soldiers, respectfully. Aircraft would also be deployed to air bases closer to the front.

In an attempt to ensure secure borders, 300 000 soldiers and 2000 tanks would be moved to various sections along the RA-Aeon border. Air bases in Egypt would also become more active and abuzz with activity. While an Aeon attack was not expected, Aeon was allied to the Kingdom, and it's side on the conflict was not yet clear.
