Salutations, Your Highness,

We have reviewed your order that you put forward to our office, and first off, thank you for bringing your shipbuilding business to Sweden. After reviewing your order, we have decided to suggest to you that, to be able to allow for our production facilities to accommodate your order, that we construct for you a modified version of the Type 45 Destroyer. In modifications, we can make the current VLS system on board to accommodate sixty-four missiles, while making the VLS system BrahMos-launch capable, while being able to fire BGM-109 Cruise Missiles, and other vertically-launched weaponry. To produce these vessels, Karlskrona AB Gothenberg Division's Andalen Shipbuilding facility will need one calendar year (OOC: One IRL Month), and to fund this project, will require 10.5 Billion SEK (Swedish Kronor) apiece (OOC: About 1.5 Billion US). This vessel would be able to be outfitted with one 76mm main gun in a single or twin gun turret, along with three 20mm Phalanx CIWS, and two 30mm Bofors Automatic Cannons, along with various general-purpose machineguns.

As for your requested cruiser needs, the Strategic Division hereby submits its currently, in service cruiser, the Uppland-class Global Cruiser. This vessel can be outfitted with two forty-eight VLS launch cells, as well as deploy a 76mm main gun in a single or twin turret. Although Sweden cannot release its tri-pack CIWS system that is employed on this vessel, Karlskrona AB can outfit the vessel with three SeaRAM systems, four 30mm Bofors Automatic Cannons, as well as numerous general-purpose machinegun mounts. With the exclusion of the two four-pack anti-ship missile launchers on the front of the vessel, the forward VLS cell can be increased to a 64-cell strike package, with BrahMos capabilities, along with being able to employ various anti-ship, anti-submarine, and cruise missiles. To produce these vessels, Karlskrona AB Gothenberg Division's Molndal Shipbuilding facility will need one calendar year (OOC: One IRL Month), and to fund this project, will require 12 Billion SEK apiece (OOC: About 2 Billion US). These vessels have been tested in battle against anti-ship ballistic missiles, and its survivability was noted.

For your requested battleship needs, the Swedish government suggests an upgraded version of the old Soviet Kirov-class Battlecruiser. Currently, the Swedish Odin-class Arsenal Ship is not available for foreign sale, and is only produced for Sweden's National Navy, therefore we feel that building upon a Kirov-class chassis will provide plenty of flexibility in its place. Currently, Karlskrona AB is in the midst of organizing a deal to procure this type of battlecruiser for another foreign customer, and it will provide a similar armament plan for this vessel for the Solar Kingdom's perusal. That being said, we will gladly begin construction of these ships at Karlskrona AB Stockholm Division's Nacka Heavy Drydock, these vessels can be outfitted for nuclear propulsion, and given the costs of the nuclear reactor and supplying the initial fuel after nuclear fuel processing, the total cost of this vessel will be 28 Billion SEK (OOC: About $4 Billion US).

If you have an inquiries or suggestions for altering this order, please voice them before the procurement process begins, and we shall discuss alternatives to what we have currently put on the table. As we understand, being a national government, there can be issues in funding the construction of these vessels, therefore we are willing to mediate a long term payment plan with Karlskrona AB, for the procurement of your vessels. Thank you for coming to Sweden for your shipbuilding needs, and placing the safety of your sailors in our experienced hands.

First off, we thank you for contacting the People's Union of Sweden for your shipbuilding needs, and putting your faith in the experienced hands of Karlskrona AB. The CIAT-SD will oversee your transaction for these five cruisers, which we will happily produce for your nation at the cost of 2.7 Billion SEK (Swedish Kronor) (OOC: About $450 USD Million) apiece. We can begin the construction and outfitting of these vessels at Karlskrona AB's Falkenberg Division Shipbuilding Facility. The estimated time of completion of this entire order, including the outfitting of armament and sensor systems, will take approximately one calendar year. Production will begin as soon as tooling is completed at the facility, and the vessels will be expected to be completed as a batch.

There are a few inquiries we must make into the final fitting out of these vessels, do you want them fully, as designed, and without modification, or should some modifications to sensor and weapon systems be made? Also, the People's Union is aware that all countries and their budgets are limited, if the government of Marscurian Siberia would like to opt into a payment plan that would allow for the cost of these vessels to be spread even over the next few years, we can arrange it with Karlskrona AB.

Other then that, thank you again for choosing Sweden for your maritime procurement needs, we look forward to hearing from you, and sending you updates on the construction of your new ships.

We thank the Northern Imperium for their choosing of the People's Union of Sweden for undertaking the task of constructing this marvel of shipbuilding design, we consider your financing of this vessel to be completely acceptable. The construction of this new vessel shall go forward at Karlskrona AB - Stockholm Division's Akersberga Heavy Maritime Industries facility, and shall begin immediately when the tooling of the equipment needed for the vessel is ready. Preliminary estimates of completion of this vessel are within one calendar year of the vessels' laying out, with the final fitting out taking approximately two to three months.

The only questions we have for the Northern Imperium, is over the fitting out of the vessel, and whether the Northern Imperium would like the vessel fitted out with an electro-magnetic aircraft launch systems, rather than a high-pressure steam aircraft catapult, and the fitting out of weapon and sensor systems. Of course we can leave the latter two up to you, should you wish to do the fitting out yourself, but basic computer systems will be installed, with basic navigational radar for delivery of the vessel. As we know that budgetary concerns can be problematic, if you wish to pay for the vessel in installments over a certain time frame, the Strategic Division will mediate a deal between you and Karlskrona AB.

Other then that, thank you again for bringing your shipbuilding needs to Sweden and entrusting the lives of your sailors in our experienced hands.

We would like it fitted with an electro-magnetic launch system; as for sensors we have a full AN/SPY-3 AESA system and SSDS waiting to be placed on the ship.. We will do the weapons-fitting ourselves, as our Bethel Armory has a long and successful history in weapons production. As to payment, we are willing to pay for the entirety of the construction in advance, with the understanding that the vessel will be built and ready for fitting one year and one month (at the latest) from today.

I apologize for this message being brief, but I do not have much to say. I will accept your terms and the classes of vessels that you are selling. I will defray the cost of the ships upon completion, totaling around 15 billion USD. Please notify me when you will be willing to sell your Odin-class to other nations. I would be willing to buy a few of those.

Salutations,

Let me first thank you for contacting Sweden for your shipbuilding needs, we would be happy to process your intended order, although it appears that you have given us designs for a destroyer, a cruiser, and a submarine, when in your message that you stipulated that you would like for us to build destroyers, frigates, and one submarine. We would be happy to procure either cruisers or destroyers or frigates for the Californian Republic. Out of the designs that you submitted, we currently produce that type of diesel submarine for littoral and blue water operations for our own Navy, and would be happy to procure a submarine for you at a cost of 2.25 Billion SEK (OOC: About $320 Million), with a build time of about a year (OOC: IRL 1 Month) before it is finally completed.

As for the ship designs you submitted, we can procure these vessels with no problem within the space of a year to a year and three months, the designs for both ships could include modifications to replace the on-deck missile launches with vertical launch systems to save on space. These VLS tubes would be able to handle cruise missiles, anti-submarine missiles, anti-ship missiles, surface-to-air missiles, et cetera. Currently outfitted, with replacement VLS tubes and these additions the destroyers can be constructed at about 6.6 Billion SEK apiece (OOC: About $950 Million), while the cruisers that you presented would run at about 7 Billion SEK apiece (OOC: About $1 Billion).

As we understand that defense budgets can be strenuous on national economies, we will gladly be ready to negotiate a long term procurement finance program between your nation and our national shipbuilder, Karlskrona AB. Once again, we thank you for your inquiry, and construction can begin as soon as specifics are agreed upon between our two nations.

As Sweden's shipyards began to reinstate their third shift rotations to boost personnel, manpower, and work output at various Karlskrona AB yards, spread across the nation, nuclear technicians with the Swedish National Navy would board civilian flights for New Cambodia to begin work with their counterparts on the former Royal Cochin Fleet Carriers that were being reactivated. These flights of technicians and naval officers and operations staff would precede a task force which would depart the temporary base at Samana Bay, Hispaniola. Comprising three cruisers, an arsenal ship, three destroyers, two frigates, plus one of the carriers the new fleet carriers would be replacing, the Lutzen, the task force would proceed east through the Panama Canal and then move into the Pacific towards South East Asia. Replenishment vessels and support vessels would sail in formation with the vessels, while three nuclear attack submarines would proceed to New Cambodia via the Cape of Good Hope, all of these ships as intended escorts for the newest vessels of the Swedish National Navy.

While these fleet movements were underway, Karlskrona AB, better known as "Kockums", would begin the modification and continue the construction of the battlecruiser that was eventually intended for the Finnish Navy, so that one of the battlecruisers intended for New Cambodia would be finished within three months, well ahead of schedule. The other three battlecruisers would be built side-by-side at the Kockums Stockholm Division at Vaxholm Heavy Naval Engineering, their hulls being laid out as the Kockums Shipwrights feverishly amongst all the orders to put together a modified weapons platform that was different from the originally requested ship put forward by Finland that was requested by the Southeast Asian Nation.

As we heard of the prowess of the Peoples Union of Sweden in the aspect of Naval architecture and engineering, and as we already have had purchases from your armament manufacturers in the past, proving reliability in delivery, as well as in the quality of their products, we would like to ask your Naval yards to consider constructing two cruisers for our country.

Recquirements would be:

A minimum operational range of 8000km

Ability to withstand small arms fire and ammunition up to 7,5 cm caliber

Cruise speed of at least 28 knots

Maximum speed of at least 32 knots.

at least 80% probability to survive a direct hit by a 300kg warhead without sinking

A maximum firing range of at least 900 km.

Adequate ability to fight aircraft and submarines

Ability to destroy hard land targets.
We would be thankful if Swedish shipyards could help Vicidalia in acquiring an adequate naval force.

Greetings,

Thank you for your quick reply to our requests. We apologize for the confusion with our shipbuilding needs as an intern unintentionally placed a blueprint for a cruiser instead of a frigate. In light of the costs of building the cruiser, we are opting to revise our order to include the following.

- 2 destroyers (adding one)
- 3 frigates (revised order)
- 4 corvettes (new order)
- 1 submarines (remains the same)
Redwood class Frigate

Yosemite class Corvette

The department has reviewed your offer on the submarine and gladly accept the price and timeline for construction. Our staff has looked into the VLS tubes and agree that the costs to outfit the destroyers with VLS would be acceptable, although the other ships will go without them due to tight space constraints and having different needs from the destroyers.

California has budgeted for the 25% down payment and then some if needed to start construction on the ships by Karlskrona AB. We would like to hear the terms of long-term financing and will get back to you if our department is to take the final step.

With the change of your order, we can offer to construct the surface vessels between Karlskrona AB's Shipyards at its Home Division, at Karlskrona, and Karlskrona AB's Halmstad Division, Halmstad Iron Works. To pay for these orders, we feel that the procurement of the corvettes and frigates will cost 1.75 Billion SEK (OOC: About $250 Million), and 3.15 Billion SEK (OOC: About $450 Million) apiece. The time frame for the completion of these vessels is expected to take a year and a quarter for the entirety of the order to be completed, based on its sheer entirety and given other contracts that are in progress.

In terms of long term financial plans, if you feel that a twenty-five percent annual rate is acceptable, we can defray the costs of these vessels over four years, with the first down payment being part of the initial payment of any outstanding debts. As Karlskrona AB is subsidized by the government, we take the debt incurred on the company, and that allows for foreign customers to defray the costs with our government, rather than letting the company handle the debt. If this plan is satisfactory for California, we can get work started immediately on tooling facilities for these vessels, and we thank California for their business and entrusting the lives of their sailors in our veteran shipwrights and shipbuilding corporations.

Subject: RE:Cruiser Construction

Salutations Mademoiselle,

First off, thank you for your consideration of Sweden in your procurement process, and putting your faith in our veteran shipwrights and shipbuilding industry. We believe that we have a cruiser class that fits your needs that Sweden actually currently operates. The Uppland-class Guided Missile Cruiser is one of the most cutting edge vessels that are classified as cruisers, that is currently afloat. The ship, like all of those built for the Swedish National Navy, is built around a multi-mission platform that can perform multiple duties at once. With the elmination of the two forward quad-pack Harpoon Anti-Ship Missile Launchers, Karlskrona AB increased the ships' forward vertical launch systems to a total of sixty-four cells, while the rear remains a forty-eight tactical strike pack of cells.

To fulfill your anti-air, anti-submarine, and long range weaponry requests, these VLS cells can mount a various array of weaponry, including vertically-launched anti-ship missiles like the BrahMos, anti-submarine missiles, BGM-109 Tomahawk Cruise missiles (fulfills the 900km combat requirement). We can also equip the vessel with sandwiched active external reactive composite armor, that is currently used by our Leopard 2S9 Main Battle Tanks, around essential spaces of the ship, although the composition of this armor is currently classified, the armor that we use has been able to stop APFSDS rounds fired point blank from 125mm Smoothbore Cannons during testing situations. To power the vessel, we will equip the vessel with the newest gas-turbine engine that is currently built by Saab Aerospace, the SAAB SB-500-60, which will be able to propel the vessel up to 34 knots.

One Uppland-class Guided Missile Cruiser was lost during Sweden's Atlantic Naval Campaign, the vessel, however, after it took a large damaging hit by an anti-ship ballistic missile, only to be struck by another one while in the process of trying to control damage incurred during the first missile strike. The vessels are a trusted mainstay in the Swedish fleet, and will continue to soldier on, and the vessel has no intended replacement in the coming future. The cost for each cruiser, apiece, is 12 Billion SEK apiece (OOC: About $2 Billion).

If you would like to continue with your procurement process of a duo of these cruisers, Karlskrona AB's Gothenberg Division will handle the construction of these ships, which will take about a year to complete. We thank you for contacting us with your shipbuilding needs, and hope to be hearing back on our suggestions.

These are acceptable terms and prices for us. We will be wiring the 25% down payment to Karlskrona AB within the next 72 hours. The Californian Defense Department believes the 25% sum to be paid each year to Karlskrona AB is acceptable towards the outstanding balance.

We ask to send some of our officers and maintenance crew to Sweden to begin training about the ships being built. Lastly, we ask to have a one month sea trial in the Baltic and North Sea after construction for shakedown and getting kinks out of the system.

The mood around the map table at Tre Kronor was quiet that evening, there were only a few select officers and statesmen there, most of them wearing informal attire after Christian Nyquist calling the late evening meeting. Christian Nyquist was dressed in a warm, flannel shirt, with jeans, Caroline wore her alma mater sweatshirt, and leggings, while Gustav Horn was wearing a Swedish Ground Forces sweatshirt and jeans, as they leaned on the table. A few aides stood around the table as well, including Caroline's trusty military aide-de-camp, Aden Dawkins, who was the only one wearing an actual uniform, though it was his informal dress greys.

"So, where do we stand in the Caribbean?" asked Christian, as he looked at the map tiredly, the LCD map screen centered on the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean. Locations of known allied units and neutral forces were also available via radar and satellite imaging, movement of markers indicated known movements.

"The French Colonial Forces in the Caribbean massed their fleet for an attack on Louisiana, we know that there have been casualties, we just don't know how many, combat operations began against Louisiana in the last forty-eight hours. There is no real idea of damages sustained against both sides are at, at this time," said Horn, as he brought up various vague news reports from regional news papers along the perimeter of the map.

"Currently, the Swedish Expeditionary Force has deployed a tactical command group to Hispaniola, along with the headquarters element of the 7th Motor Rifle. Full division elements and supplies are expected to take a week to build up as vessels from the auxiliaries make the trip across the Atlantic," reported Caroline, noting the deployment of the 7th Motor Rifle Division in a side electronic copy of the report to Nyquist's office from the Swedish General Staff. "Currently, MEU 2 is already in the region on board the Endurance, located at Samana Bay, we delayed the deployment of the Lutzen Carrier Battlegroup to New Cambodia as this heated up."

"We dispatched a carrier battlegroup from Gothenberg to take its place, we're keeping our Caribbean Naval forces stagnant," added Gustav, noting the deployment of naval forces from Gothenberg.

"What do we have for aerial forces in the region?" asked Christian, looking over at the duo.

"Currently, we have a mix of transports, transport helicopters, some strategic air-to-air refuelers, a couple reconnaissance bird, and a duo of AWACS in the region, along with an SAT-400EW that can switch mission packages between PsyOps and Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses, located at various French facilities in the region. We have a squadron of SAF-9 Wargaz Block Is in Port-au-Prince, along with an expeditionary maintenance and rearmament group that was prepositioned with one of our staging bases. Then whatever is on board the Lutzen, which appears to be," noted Caroline, bringing up the list of embarked aircraft. "Thirty-six NSAF-9s Block IIs, plus the vessels' own AWACs aircraft and helicopters."

"In short, not very much," noted Christian, as he looked over the tactical situation. "What can we put over to Hispaniola within forty-eight hours if this conflict expands? This situation is getting messier by the moment, and we need to think about the possibility of our involvement."

"Nothing in the way of ground forces, besides special operations and maybe a battalion of airborne troops, naval forces are going to take a week to get there if we send anything more, we can dispatch fighter and bomber squadrons though. With that expeditionary group there, we can at least dispatch maybe a a group and a half of aircraft," replied Gustav, as he brought up a list of combat-ready air force units in Sweden and perusing the list.

"What would you suggest for a deployment?" asked Christian, looking over at Caroline, who was also looking at the list.

"Since its the 4th Fighter Group that has a squadron there? The rest of the fourth, as well as a squadron from the 1st Strategic and a mixed squadron from the 2nd Tactical Strike, with 22s and 47s," responded Gustav, looking up at Christian, and nodding. "I can get Drexel on horn at Vanern, and have him take the good old Red Stars over to there, he's got the know-how to run an air campaign if one is needed."

"If the French Fleet is driven off by damages it sustains after it unloads its ground forces, they're going to be stranded, and without a mode of evacuation, if things go badly," added Caroline, as she looked over at her two counterparts. "I suggest we begin reconnaissance patrols in the region with that single SARC, and seriously putting consideration into deploying further air assets if they are needed, and putting keeping our subs on patrol in the Gulf."

"Suggestion is granted, Caroline," nodded Christian.

"Alright, we'll use charter civilian airliners to bring over the bulk of the 7th Motor Rifle, and have two nuclear attack boats, along with a destroyer and a frigate, escort the ships carrying the seventh's vehicle and supply allotment. They'll remain on station once we get there to bolster our naval forces in the region," said Gustav, pointing out available naval assets to Christian on the LCD screen.

"Alright, lets make it happen," said Christian, nodding firmly around the table.

"Keep your course eastward helm, keep it steady," ordered Lieutenant Commander Maria Holm, the young submarine commander looking over at her coxswain as the SUS Roos slowly made her way eastward through the Caribbean. The submarine had been ordered southeast after originally being posted in the Mona Passage, in the wide channel between Hispaniola and Puerto Rico.

"Yes ma'am," responded the petty officer that manned the small subs' helm, Edward Lundquist. "Holding course southeast, keeping present bearing."

"Getting a little close, are we not?" asked Lieutenant Derek Faust, the competent but cautious executive officer of the Roos, who should have been bunked up at this hour, so he could be ready for his command shift later that night. He indicated the shallow waters of the South American continental shelf, they were approximately forty nautical miles south-southwest of Grenada the submarine was maneuvering close to the bottom, the Roos and her counterparts were deep divers, and could out dive their nuclear attack counterparts of the Swedish National Navy.

"Command wanted us on station, we're still in international waters, and we're only three hours at full speed from St. George's," whispered Holm, as she gave Lundquist a gentle pat on the shoulder. She turned to Faust, as the submarine settled at a four knot speed, Lundquist gently maneuvering along the bottom, "This channel is one of the most navigable into the Caribbean, therefore, we are on station in a place that the Air Force and our surface ships cannot go. We stay on station for the next seventy two hours, then move north of Grenada and stay in the Lesser Antilles."

"We got anything on passive, sonar?" asked Faust, after sighing softly.

"Nothing but civilian naval traffic, probably clearing the area after the Lunar Republic declaration," responded Lieutenant Bridgette Westerberg, keeping her on her sonar screen, but glancing quickly over at Faust.

"Thank you, Bridgette," nodded Holm, as she went back to the center of the cramped bridge of the diesel submarine. "Derek, you should be getting some sleep, I can handle things for now up here. You're on duty in four hours, you realize that."

Faust just nodded, he looked anxious, and his lack of sleep was probably not going to help him, he finally looked over at the skipper, and said, "Alright, I think I'll bunk it now."

"Good choice, lieutenant, probably for the best," Holm stated, in a low voice, as she sat down in her own chair in the center of the bridge. Faust turned and went to his quarters, which were located next to Holm's, right off the bridge. Holm turned to her chief of the boat, Chief Warrant Officer Gunter Mavey, who was her lead non-commissioned officer, whispering, "Workaholic."

"And nervous," whispered back Mavey, as he leaned back in his chair, the old seaman was probably close to twice the age of most of the individuals on the cramped submarine. "He's doing just fine ma'am," he nodded, before lowering his voice so only she could hear him, "Just make sure he gets in his bunk when he needs to be, we're all nervous, but we shouldn't let that keep us from our sleep." He just grinned, and went back to looking at his own console, which gave him and Holm a layout of current course, engine output, terrain around them, as well as weapons and USVs currently on board. The console would also give battle damage assessments and provide sonar data when requested.

Holm just nodded, and looked at Mavey for a moment, then looked at the console in front of her. As part of Sweden's "silent service", the submarine fleet was usually the first arm of the Swedish National Navy to deploy, to scout ahead of the fleet. They were taught and expected to be competent, risk-taking, and professional in their duties. Submarine crews were paid hazardous pay for good reason; any accident could destroy a submarine, at almost any depth, submarines could defend themselves, yes, and they were certainly stealthier then anything on the surface, but they were vulnerable if discovered and tracked. As Holm watched the passive navigational sonar build a three-dimensional image on her screen, she sighed heavily, thinking of home. Submariner patrols could last up to six to nine months, and she had yet to see home in five, the thought of being rotated home in the coming month was a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel of a long deployment, and she smiled lightly as she thought about it, before quickly resuming her stance as a commander of a most capable diesel ultra-quiet submarine.

"Helm."

"Ma'am?"

"Once you locate even level ground above safe depth, I want you to set her down and reduce propulsion to standby," ordered Holm quietly, as she sat back in her chair.

"Aye aye ma'am."

"Speaking of tired," grinned Mavey, as he looked over at Holm, and she shook her head, with the smallest of smiles, gave him a gentle punch on the arm, then began working on her console as she looked over sonar data that was coming in from the surface.

North of the Roos, similar scenes played out among the Lesser Antilles, as two further diesel submarines and a nuclear attack submarine positioned themselves along various channels and shipping routes into the Caribbean, running quietly, their eyes and ears open...

Salutations Field Marshal,

Although I am sure you are quite aware of the large mobile offshore bases that the Athenian Federation and Great Horde of Tianxia currently use, Sweden currently only possesses and uses a variant of an afloat forward staging base. This class of vessels, known in Sweden as the Monolith-class, is our workhorse in providing an offshore staging point for supplies and replenishment in an expeditionary operation, and can support various branches of the services. It has a limited aviation capacity, and is not meant to be a warship, although it has some defensive armament mounted, it will not survive a full-fledged battle and should never find itself in such a situation.

Currently, the People's Union has one of these vessels in strategic reserve, and is available for sale, provided the funds cover the expenses of procuring another vessel so we can procure one further vessel to replenish the sale of one of these vessels to Socialist People's Republic of Australia. To procure these vessels, the going rate for a Monolith-class AFSB is currently pegged at 5.25 Billion SEK, or about $750 Million. Construction of the second vessel will take approximately a year, and the activation of the vessel in reserve will take at least a week for some general maintenance.

We thank you for coming to Sweden for your shipbuilding needs, and upon reception of your response and acceptance of these price terms, we will begin laying down the second hull. A long term payment plan can be used to pay off the secondary vessel that will be built, but an immediate payment for the vessel that will be delivered to you is preferred, to cover our loss of the vessel from our strategic reserve auxiliary forces.

"In an effort to modernize all Swedish MLRS systems, the Swedish Defense Forces has partnered with its contractors at Bofors and Saab Aerospace to replace the M136 Unguided Saturation Weapon System with the M505 110mm Guided MLRS. Using cold launch technology, the MLRS system can launch GPS/INS-guided missiles up to forty-five miles away, with multiple types of warheads, ranging from direct impact high explosive munitions, to bomblet anti-personnel and/or anti-tank missiles, as well as small thermobaric rounds.

The M505 utilizes sixty tubes for its strike package, but Saab has begun developing other warhead casings for the system, which could mount larger missiles, currently, the launch system is loaded almost like a magazine into a rifle. The magazine is ejected via a series of hydraulically-tensioned springs, which ejects the spent 'magazine' off the back of the turret, the reloading vehicle, which carries two reloads, moves into position, and, whilst using a completely automated system, reloads a new magazine. The process, for an experienced crew, can take as little as five minutes.

Utilizing data from the NORDCOMM System, the M505 can send 60 110mm Guided or Unguided munitions downrange in under a minute, and then scoot to another firing position. The M505 is expected to be a much greater improvement in providing indirect fire support then its cousin in the form of the M136."
To: The Union of Sweden - Commission of International Affairs and Trade - Strategic Division (CIAT-SD)
From: Officier des Forces Navales de la Securité de la Compagnie, Georgette Lemare

As the one responsible for the naval security of the fleet of the Compagnie, I was tasked with asking you, wether Sweden would be able to create a class, surpassing the former Vicidalian Dalian-class. With the Dalian and the St. Fouqault d'Ibouquis in Lunar hands, it is upon the Compagnie to carry on the naval tradition of Vicidalia and to surpass the former ships. Given the limited funds of the Compagnie, we would like the Union to only work out a plan, as well as a proposal for the pricing. The Compagnie will afterwards decide the quantity of ships built.

As minimum these values have to be met or to be surpassed:

750 VLS for missiles of at least 55 cm diameter

At least 3 guns in at least 1 turret of a caliber of 42 cm

Modern armor of at least 80 cm thickness and able to resist ammunition below caliber 30 cm. Values shall not go below the yamato values.

Adequate armor to survive a direct hit by a BrahMos missile and/or a 500kg warhead torpedo

Not to be sunk by a nuclear bomb detonated within 200 metres range, if maintained right. Adequate shelter and decontamination should be possible

Adequate anti-aircraft abilities to fight off aircraft with up to 3 Mach velocity

Adequate sensor systems to detect hostile aircraft within 300 km radius

Adequate ASW equipment

A minimum operational range of at least 8000 km

A minimum cruise speed of 24 knots

A maximum speed of 30 knots

Possibility to carry an ICBM with a nuclear warhead

Range of the main artillery shall be no less than 120 km

As stealthy as possible, if it does not decrease the survivability of the ship.
As payment for the plan and pricing calculations alone, the Compagnie will pay 400,000 Louise d'Or[sup]1[/sup]. We also ask for this order, as well as the ships data to be classified.

Best Regards,
Georgette Lemare

OOC:

[sup]1[/sup]A Louise d'Or is an old Vicidalian gold coin worth about 100 Euro. It was used in the Grand Principality to pay for large bills.
