[/quote] You don't need to tell the world that you are attacking someone on the OWF for you to declare war on an alliance wide scale, a DoW is only a courtesy to the people you are attacking and nothing more, also it doesn't really mater that they didn't do several days worth of damage, a lot of damage can be done in a single blitz. [/quote] Generally speaking, I would agree with this sentiment. Personal opinion aside however, a number of TE players prefer to see a DoW at the beginning of the war. I'm not sure that it is the majority, but it may be enough for me to change how I handle it. Not really a big deal either way. Indeed, sometimes a blitz can decide a war.
