Hey Sal, if you don't like CN or CN RP, don't play. Otherwise get a life, or at least some good porn and go $%&@ yourself.

Let's play nice, we all want to see clean World War here!

That, is a much better attitude to have.

I would like to make it clear that my primary interest in this war will be to write a fairly interesting story, therefore, it will be as if I were rather writing a character RP rather than an outright war RP with careful description of numbers and technologies, which essentially means that my posts will tend to be vague, as during a battle what'd count more is the different experiences of the different soldiers, and the people, rather than making a wall of text depicting massive operations.

If most wars are said to contain text of a technical or even scientific, logistical nature, my text instead will resemble instead a short story or a tale at times. I just want it to be fun to write, and just churning out numbers and copypasting missile descriptions and numbers won't do it for me.

Do you guys mind?

Also, what happens if some people end up defeated/rolled? What are the consequences going to be? And how do we just end this? Maybe we later have to unite to fight them aliens, lol.

I don't mind.

In regards to what happens if people get rolled, they would go into exile like the Free French. Like when I invade Sumatra, I'd assume they'd flee to Australia and continue the fight there. Eventually a peace treaty will be signed. I'm inclined for small nations that get conquered to have certain terms rather than land concessions imposed on them.

I'd be willing to be on the defender's team, joining as an independent nation for some errant reason. Such as an EEZ violation by the aggressors. But something of note, I would be potentially inactive at some points during the RP. I would like to participate in some way, especially if its non-canon.

Three words: Unrestricted Submarine Warfare. :awesome:

Here are my proposed rules for this:

I'm adding math because I want this to be total war. That means major sized units.

Your standing forces are your standing army. Your efficiency multiplier are your conscription modifier. My modifier for example is 5.12. So I have 6, 712, 000 soldiers for my conscripted army and 1.32 million for my standing forces. In other words... this is going to be a !@#$@#$ huge conventional war more like the first and second world wars rather than a desert storm sized fight.

For Navy my proposals are the following:

No carrier multiplier
Battleships: x 1.5
Cruisers: x2
Destroyers: x3
Frigates: x4
Corvettes: Full Squadrons (12 ships)
Submarines: x2 your current multiplied level

For aircraft:

5000 Tech +: 6th Gen and 5+ Gen Aircraft x1, 5 Gen x 1.25, 4.5 Gen x 1.75, 4 Gen x 2
1500 Tech +: 5th Gen x1, 4.5 x 1.25, 4 Gen x1.5, 3rd Gen x 2
Below: 4.5 is available to all, 3rd Gen x2

Shammy, Cent, Vektor, or I can help you in figuring out what catagory the aircraft you want falls into. This though essentially allows air forces to field large numbers of aircraft to generate more sorties or deploy advanced squadrons.

Additionally Drones (not ATF equivalent ones), AWACs, Mid Air Re-fuelers, Attack Helicopters, and aircraft of this nature aren't included in a combat count.

Current Sides are:

Neo-Warsaw Pact:
1. United Federation of the East (Leader of the Alliance)
2. Athenian Federation
3. Greater Dalmatia
4. Mascurian Siberia
5. Pravus Ingruo

United Nations of FREEEEDOM:
1. Australia
2. Sumatra
3. Midwest Republic
4. Germany
5. Estonia
6. France
7. Norway
8. United Republic of Akdeniz

Late Entrants:
For UNF:
1. Rhodesia

For NWP:

Alliance with UFE will trigger the formation of the African Coalition:
1. West African Republic
2. Commonwealth of Africa

TBH, At the moment the sides seem fairly even with NWP possessing a qualitative edge, a numerical edge being possessed by the UNF. Did I miss anyone? If not I think we should start because I don't think that we want too many people lest if someone drops activity the entire thread goes into a rut.

If it is within CNRP canon there is a colossal precedence for third party intervention in conflicts that are allegedly closed.

Maybe so but if anyone tries that here it will most likely be brought before the GM's. So I think its quite safe and from what I can see yes this canon at least to those taking part it is and I recognise it as canon.

I don’t plan on getting involved but what make this different that other similar interventions?

As it's a closed thread with different rules (Increased military and no nukes) it's still canon but you need the authors permission to join in.

Perhaps a ruling on third party intervention in closed conflicts is in order?

It's basically like any other closed thread except it's a war. If you want in, sign up so you can intervene.
