I guess. But I think u mad about a war that sparta may, or may not, have had with an alliance that may, or may not, now be defunct.

I'm not mad about anything. Just stating a fact.

You can have a war for WAE without including Sparta. They're the frontrunner for Admin's sake.

The Battle of the Teutoburg Forest

...and only a few history geeks will know the significance of that.

That's a stretch...

I like the Po-lure war better.

It cant be Incompetence Extravaganza. The weebs and sith made some nice blitzes and Polar stayed in peacemode like they ought to. Doesn't fit.

The point that makes IE fit is that it's a war involving one incompetent alliance fighting a fistful of incompetent micros, and everyone insisting they're awesome because of it. It really is the best name.

Also, I don't get the appeal of the "Sup War". Really, can someone explain that one to me?

Thread that led to the war was entitled "Sup Legion"? Works for me.

These always end badly.

I think this man is on to something.

[ooc]Just because you dont like it when people try to put it on the wiki, doesnt mean you guys are the arbitrator of how these are named, you know? [/ooc]

Nah, its a dull name and doesnt really cover the complexities of the conflict. Even the one who first came up with it changed their mind.

There are a ton of wars that could have that name, imo. Nothing in it that suggests this one in particular as opposed to some of the others I've seen on Planet Bob.

I like The Sup Warâ„¢ much better.

How so? I dont think hearsays really related to this war at all.

Didnt say anything about hearsay.

It's an expression that refers to how different people can go through the same experiences together and yet remember them in subtly (and sometimes not so subtly) different ways, resulting in interminable intractable bouts of 'no u' essentially.

Which seems an accurate if brief reflection of the underlying issues that caused this war to happen, between Legion and Sith.

Perhaps not the best since Legion - Tetris actually started it, but still.
