NRK news will tonight bring you special coverage of the parties and the people. The parties have been compaigning for days, hoping that they will get the chance to form the first government of Norway. Early polls show the Center Party as having a strong lead, closly followed by the Workers Party. Once the elections are complete, the constitution will be in full effect, with the Storting taking over governance of the country from the Edleting. Norsk Nasjonalistiskparti (Norwegian Nationalist Party) has achived enough votes form a government. Achiving a majority, the nationalists have formed government, under the leadership of Steffen Ovesen. The Senterpartiet (Centre Party), who were tipped to win the election came in second, able to form thr main opposition. The Fremskrittspartiet (Progress Party) have said that they will work closely with the Nationalists, in maintaining their majority. The Christian Democrat Party won a substantial number of votes, considering the few numbers of christians in Norway. The Workers Party, unexpectedly came in with no votes.
