[/quote] Good The Rebel I am sure you are just trying to be a gadfly. However since you seem bent on interpreting everything in your own unique way let me clarify for you. At the time of the spy attack we instituted our drill procedure. Some of our top nations including the nation so attacked are sent into peace mode if they do not have outstanding aid responsibilities. Most others immediately are sent into collection mode and then moved to defcon 1 and severe threat mode if they are not already there. I happen to sit permanently in 1 and severe but since I was the one attacked I was sent to peace mode. We had not done a drill in some months so this presented us with a great way to keep everybody on their toes. The threat of a rogue is NOT a reason for this kind of a drill. We face those regularly. However the spy attack was NOT followed up by an immediate dow by a rogue therefore we had to assume that it might be a real threat. Now perhaps you have forgotten if you ever knew the manner that a smaller alliance must treat this kind of a possible sneak attack. I am sure that most larger alliances have a more complicated process but sorry we are just who we are. Frankly your insults are somewhat over the top. If you really think I am a pixel hugger then perhaps you would like to talk to Count Rupert who I spent over 300 million in expenses to help him achieve his noble goal. That's a whole lot of pixels. You also may remember that peace mode is not the most efficient use of pixels. So I hear you and appreciate your railing at the hippie infra hugger but I find it odd that you have no words of disparagement for the nations who are spying on an assortment of other nations something I suspect NPO or you would consider an act of war. We on the other hand found it a reasonable threat and chose actions to help secure our potential risk. If you do not like our style of response then I am sorry I guess we will not be processing your application to our alliance anytime soon. However our allies have never found our support nor military actions wanting and frankly that is good enough for me. I wish you well.
