The United Federation will not recognize on the spot retrograde alliances as being legitimate within an international forum. If Aeon wishes to exercise such claims, it shall be at their own risk.

-Acting Imperator Kou

A private transmission was sent to the Kingdom of Cochin:

I have not had dealings with Media Corp, the only people I have dealt with within Pravus Ingruo are the Emperors Michael Harland and Thomas Asgeirsson. This is quite different from what I've had dealings within regarding Moga[Corp]. If you have evidence that Pravus Ingruo commits acts of slavery as the Athenians have cited, please inform us of these. I am sure our friends in the Kingdom of Cochin do not approve that the acts of buying and sellings of persons as property at all acceptable. Regarding further charges, Moga[Corp] is from South East Asia, they recently show up in North Africa, with a population unheard of in the area before (you can check with Novak and Rebel Army on this point), and that population is the SOLE group which seems to make any decision making. It seems like the most logical things that happened are in fact some pretty severe violations of human rights. These are not charges we've thrown out on the board hoping they'll stick. The fact that we've held back our forces till now is evidence we were observing the situations and making a decision on whether or not a police action needed to be done. I do not order forces into conflict without reason, it would be nice if we could all have peace, but it is obvious that we cannot permit such barbarity to occur in the world.

Finally, we feel we must point out to you that that which you support your ally doing is a direct aggressive act without any sort of treaty or agreement against the UFE.

Lt. Gen. Mikael Angerdlánguk, Chairman of the Confederation of Arctic Nations Security Council, immediately put C.A.N. peacekeeping forces on high alert with confirmed reports of UFE military movement near the CAN-administered protectorate region. All member states would be given a situation report of current events in the area and real-time updates as the situation unfolded.

The Security Council would immediately message the UFE asking for an explanation of the current situation and their intentions in the area.

The UFE has no desire to remain on that god foresaken island. The quicker it gets out of Moga[Corp] hands the better. After such time, it seems logical that CAN should administer it.

From the somewhat charred desk of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Grassy Plains N Such, Abraham Lincoln.
To all nations involved
It would seem that the variety of nations involved in this conflict are not seeing the point Aeon and those supporting her are trying to make. Instead of jumping to war with Mogatopia perhaps you should try meeting them on the diplomatic table first. You have cited one instance of slavery, which I am vehemently opposed to, however not every instance of slavery had to be resolved by war. Many nations simply abolished the practice, and I'm sure with international pressure and diplomatic meetings Mog[Corp] could be convinced to stop that practice as well as others that you may or may not have proof of. Put simply, there are other alternatives to war that you have simply not tried. I hope you consider Aeons offer of an international gathering to resolve the issue.
The Slavorussian government seemed to have missed the princess's speech because minutes after it was given a Slavorussian satellite would be detected moving northeast from the Indian Ocean.
Fortunately, it would not matter that the Slavorussian government missed the speech, as immediately after the Princess' announcement, all the care in the world would be given to notify all space agencies involved with this Aeon intent that this procedure would commence promptly. Terrestrial based AESA/PESA systems would merely log the Slavorussian satellite's newest trajectory, and prepare blinding weapons to render it useless in a satellite reconnaissance role for the duration of its window of opportunity against the Aeon.

OOC: So are your weapons actually hitting yet? Can I assume the first of my flights have arrived at their destinations yet? Is the sky blue?

Statement from the Kingdom of Cochin

...Or is the entire raison d'etre for this war just that MoG[Corp] is a corporate entity that controls Mogatopia? If so the first swords must be raised at another trans national entity which has been subverting freedoms of its people for longer periods, Pravus Ingruo and its MediaCorp...

Sd,

His Highness Kerala Varma,
The King of Cochin

Official Imperial Statement

The Empire demands that the Kindom of Cochin immediately retract this slanderous statement and that the King of Cochin offer a personal apology to both the Emperor of Pravus Ingruo and the CEO of MediaCorp. There is no evidence that the Empire has subverted the freedoms of its people, or that MediaCorp has subverted the freedoms of the people of Pravus Ingruo or any other nation that it is based in. Should the Kingdom have any evidence for its slanderous comments, we demand this evidence be presented for world review. Failure to do merely shows your claims are baseless and you are a cowardly nation that chooses to take potshots at other nations without evidence to back up your claims, hoping they will not notice.

Statement from MediaCorp

The statement from the Kingdom of Cochin is troublesome, at best. There is no evidence that MediaCorp has ever subverted the freedom of the people of Pravus Ingruo or any other nation. During times of war we have allowed our facilities to be used for government broadcasts and followed national laws to protect national infrastructure from cyber attacks. We fail to see how this is subverting people's freedoms. If anything, MediaCorp has enhanced freedom in the Empire. MediaCorp has ambitiously undertaken the project of providing every citizen with high-speed, wireless internet. We are the single biggest private contributor of student scholarship monies. And the charitable giving of MediaCorp last year alone surpassed one billion dollars. Any evidence that the Kingdom of Cochin has as to how these, or any other MediaCorp venture, subvert the freedom of the people in Pravus Ingruo, we ask them to kindly provide it.

Statement from Ministry of External Affairs, Kingdom of Cochin

The Kingdom of Cochin considers it prudent not to respond to counter claims made by a corporation which through controlling an entire nation does not permit free speech. There shall be no retraction nor any apology from Cochin. As regards evidence, we are sure evidences would be forthcoming if an international team conducted a thorough enquiry in Pravus Ingruo. The Kingdom considers itself to have no obligation to be the protector of freedom of people across the globe so we have not started any offensive activity against an organization that quite openly imposes a regime of censor behind which one wonders what sorts of atrocities are happening. But surely valiant defenders of human rights across the world should enquire into that? Or is it the policy that some organizations are worth erasing and some to be supported?

Considering MoG[Corp]'s quite public policy of quasi slavery using stocks by which personal freedoms of a human being can be subverted, the Kingdom feels it cannot support MoG[Corp].

Official Confederate Statement

We of the Dixie Confederacy are horrified by the haste by which the UFE and her allies are in conducting acts of war against MoG[Corp] instead of simply engaging in negotiations with them or conducting less violent acts like blockades into deterring MoG[Corp] into repealing the policies that so adamantly violate Human Rights in their nation.

However, should war do come to northwestern Africa, the Confederacy shall remain neutral in the conflict.

CONFEDERATION OF ARCTIC NATIONS

The Confederation of Arctic Nations will not take sides in the current conflict in northern Africa. We do hope that the situation, particularly in the Arctic, can be resolved as peacefully and quickly as is practical. Should Mogatopia relinquish control of the lands the C.A.N., specifically the Security Council, will assume administration over the island as part of the C.A.N. protectorate.

GREENLAND

The news of the Mogatopian conflict brought mixed reactions in Greenland. Though there was no formal treaty between the two nations, most citizens that lived in the former remnants of the Free Association recalled Mogatopia as a decent, if not helpful, neighbor. However questionable Mogatopian practices and policies had been publicized in the media with increasing frequency and the prevailing opinion was one of support for Greenland's Athenian allies.

The Greenlandic High Command decided against raising the threat level for all of the nation's military forces however forces on the island of Tenerife were ordered on high alert, as well as Sao Tome and Principe. Care would be taken to ensure no stray missiles or rockets would damage Greenlandic land with missile defenses remaining ever vigilant.

Additionally, an airlift of 500 marines would be immediately ordered from Ascension Island to Tristan da Cunha and Glough Island. If any Mogatopian peacekeepers were present the men had been given orders not to fire first and would began to peacefully secure the islands, first securing the largest population centers. The Mogatopian soldiers would be treated respectfully and detained until they could be sent back to Mogatopia. A standard supply convoy from Sao Tome and Principe would be redirected from GSSI to Tristan da Cunha to resupply the island and marines as well as provide a limited amount of reinforcements.

The Kingdom of Cochin considers it prudent not to respond to counter claims made by a corporation which through controlling an entire nation does not permit free speech. And yet ignores fully the statement made by the Emperor concerning your claims. Further, what evidence do you have that MediaCorp controls the Empire of Pravus Ingruo? Because, the last we checked, the Emperor and the Legislature control the nation, not a media conglomerate. There shall be no retraction nor any apology from Cochin. As regards evidence, we are sure evidences would be forthcoming if an international team conducted a thorough enquiry in Pravus Ingruo. Yes, we quite openly impose a regime of censor. Which is why criticism of the Emperor and his policies are allowed, there is political dissent, multiple political parties, and citizens and the media enjoy free speech. Yes, we commit atrocities all the the time. Which is why our tourism business is thriving and there have been no reports, from local media or any other media or person, of atrocities being committed. But surely valiant defenders of human rights across the world should enquire into that? Right. Because you have not a single shred of evidence to back your claims. Our invitation to an international, unbiased, investigation, stands.

"We are curious at the fact the Kingdom of Cochin not only failed to provide evidence for its' claims of the Empire of Pravus Ingruo oppressing its people simply because it had a major media corporation, but refused to provide such evidence when Pravus Ingruo requested it to. Not only that, but Cochin decided to "consider ourselves justified in not maintaining any relations with the said nation", furthering advocating it's unvalidated claims of "a corporation which through controlling an entire nation does not permit free speech."

That demonstrates the lack of diplomatic maturity on the Kingdom's part. Instead of providing evidence to support the claims it made, Cochin instead virtually chose to close its eyes and cover its ears, and generally scream, 'I know I am right! I dont care what you say, because I am right and I dont have to prove myself to you!' It is common fact that whenever one makes a claim, one is obligated to present evidence to support such claim and to validate it. Anything less than that would, frankly, make one look foolish.

With all that said, the Republic of Noveria would like to send an investigative team to the Empire of Pravus Ingruo. We will comply with your regulations and cooperate with you."

The team will be accepted at Newark International Airport. That will provide the easiest access to MediaCorp's headquarters. Please let us know what materials and documents you will need as soon as possible so we can have them ready when you arrive.

"The team are on the way to Pravus Ingruo. They will arrive at Newark International Airport."

PRIVATE MESSAGE TO PI

As for materials and documents, the team would like to request documents such as records of MediaCorp's interactions with your government, corporate ethic codes, and reports on MediaCorp's management, marketing, and technology (as a note of assurance, the reports will be kept strictly confidential, alas, they will not be published in any way). We also would like to examine MediaCorp's records of corporate assets such as stocks; we would like to conduct interviews with MediaCorp's employers, employees, and customers, and as such we formally file a request to MediaCorp for a video camera, microphone, and relevant equipment needed to conduct interviews.

"We suggest anal probing for these 'interviews' as a means of drilling right to the heart of where the truth can be found. Maybe you'll find Pravo Inguro's head up there as well. We also suggest the Kingdom of Cochin collectively stop taking stupid pills on a mass basis."

From The Desk of The President of The United States

The Athenian Federation is held as a close friend of The USI while the UFE is also held as a peaceful partner because they were willing to help us in some of our times of need. Whether the following questions were asked are not it does concern The United States because we would like to hear the answers for ourselves.

We would like to know if the United Federation of The East, The Athenian Federation, The Cajun Federation, or if any other nations involved can give evidence to the following claims.

"Suspicion of violation of the Conventions on the Rights of Women
Suspicion of violation of the Conventions on the Rights of Children
Suspicion of kidnapping large populations from the United Federation of the East, Burma, Japan and other parts of East Asia
Suspicion of conspiracy to distribute narcotics in violation of numerous country's sovereignty
Suspicion of Human Traffic and Slavery"

We also have questions about the following claims.

"Suspected abuse and non-justified capture of rare endangered Penguin
Suspicion of environmental degradation in Polar regions
Suspicion of stealing our oxygen"

-The United States provided Mogtopia with a regulated amount of penguins
-What degradation did Mogtopia take part to permanently harm the Arctic or Antarctic regions of our wonderful planet? From what we understand they populated an Arctic island with penguins, they were not doing anything on the mainland or harming the natural creatures of any other nation
-I am curious to know what was meant by "stealing our oxygen"? I think the rest of the world would like a clarity on that

From what I can see Mogtopia was engaging in no forms of slavery. A Mogtopian Citizen would own 80% of their own stock. This means that no matter the vote of others, they would trump them unless they sold out a majority of themselves in which they would be willingly giving themselves up to voluntary servitude.

Mogtopia has done nothing but be peaceful to the USI and we are intrigued to know what would cause a mass mobilization of world military forces to destabilize a sovereign entity on suspicions which don't seem to have been proven. In fact, diplomacy doesn't even seem to have been attempted. It is not only mortifying to a entire culture when their homeland is invaded by a foreign nation but it can be degrading to society when a foreign military assumes control of an entire nation with force which can insight terrorism for the entire region for decades to come, stalling the growth of societies.

And for those who are engaging in military action I also ask what are the plans for a new government to be brought to this land? Will it be turned over to a near by nation for administration or will this be an act of obvious or cowardly imperialism where the victor sets up a false government to keep an iron fist on people who have suffered enough.

I implore my friends from the heart of Ancient Rome and the center of many great former Dynasties to sustain my questions with full answers backed with facts - I think the world would be thankful if my questions could be answered so that this does not arise into future conflicts or ever be the heart for a full scale retaliation when one of you are weak.

Thank you for your time, I appreciate it.
