Fight along side it in all wars. Contribute 10% of yearly tax revenues to facilitate in the protection, development, and defense of the Monarchy's lands, including your own. Declare an oath of loyalty to the King of the Angevins. Maintain a non-offensive and stable political dialogue with other sovereigns, giving due respect to their rank, title, and status. Responsibilities of the Monarchy to Vassals: Provide for the defense of vassals from unprovoked and wrongful attack by other sovereigns. Assist the territory in its development, especially in times of hardship. Maintain open and trustworthy communications with the Dukes and Duchesses. Vassalage may be requested by states in Europe. Contiguous states in particular. Vassals may be created through the process of liberating regions to semi-autonomous control. Republics and democracies may be vassals if the people affirm the desire to do so, in which case all representatives in that government will be deemed Dukes and Duchesses of the Monarchy.
