He wouldn't have a hand in the everyday function of the alliance, but he would have the ability to quash military/peace treaties as he saw fit (and mundane internal legislation, if he felt like it), or veto individual words so as to alter the treaty's meaning to fit his preferences. If I was going for that, Rebel Virginia would occupy all posts. My only regret is I couldn't really think of a suitable person for FA; Xiphosis is more there just to piss off the other gov members. [/quote] If he wants to do the position and is interested in CN again, I would take Ivan as regent before a lot of alliance leaders. Regent shouldn't need to micro manage the internal workings of the alliance, he would give the order to the ones working under him to finish what needs getting done. I've isn't a banker, powerful fighter or any traits he's good at except one, which is politics and knowing how to effectively lead. Second rank is probably where he would do best, since it is a support role which doesn't require extensive knowledge on game mechanics.
