Instead of escalating this conflict further, we urge both sides to consider the offer which was submitted by Mogatopia. It is a much smoother and more peaceful solution to the current issue.

MoG[Corp] would like to see both sides at least attempt to due no harm to the [url="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_Rockhopper_Penguin#Population_and_threats"]major population of an endangered penguin[/url] on the outlying Islands of Tristan da Cunha, and to keep the nature preserve islands free of combat.
[Classifed message to both Greenland and Cochin]
[quote]To whom it may concern,

MoG[Corp] Helicopter Carrier [i]Harvester of Disaster[/i] has been sent towards Tristan Da Cunha on a Wildlife saving Mission, as well as assist in any possibly diplomatic negotiations, as a non biased party, a full diplomatic envoy has been included on the ship, as well as a few hundred peacekeepers trained in wildlife capture. While we would prefer to prevent bloodshed if at all possible, we are taking a neutral stance in the matter of ownership of these islands, and would like your nation to permit our unarmed soldiers to be shown the same respect and evacuate an endangered species out of harms way, most notably off Tristan Da Cunha, perhaps onto one of the outlying islands if an agreement can be worked out with your government to keep the nature preserves free of warfare.

MoG[Corp] Chief Communications Officer[/quote]

Greater Korea believes that the disputed islands should be given to the protector or Transvaal, instead of this petty fightings. Do not nations have honor and shame?

We honestly do not mind if the land goes to Arctica, but we certainly wont let it go to Asian states.

MoG[Corp] is willing to be a neutral African nation to take care of the islands, and allow them to be used as refueling stations for any nation not hostile towards MoG[Corp] or our allies, our official stance on ownership of the islands is that African land should remain owned by Africans if at all possible.
[/quote]

The Kingdom of Cochin accepts MoG[Corp]'s offer and are prepared to withdraw its forces from Tristan da Cunha if Greenland also agrees to do so. The Kingdom of Cochin declares a cease fire to be maintained by its units in and around Tristan da Cunha until a response from Greenland is received. Any hostile act by an ally of Greenland against Cochin units before a Greenland response would be adequately countered but would not be considered a nullification of the larger cease fire being declared against Greenland.

If the offer of mediation by MoG[Corp] attains fruition, Kingdom of Cochin shall make compensations for every Greenland soldiers' death but not for material losses suffered by Greenland. Any Greenland act of hostility at Command level by ignoring the MoG[Corp]'s proposal and Cochin concession would be considered a violation of cease fire. Tactical aggression would be considered only as a failure of Greenland Command, Control and Communication system and not a violation of cease fire per se.

The landings on Tristan da Cunha soon turned into a bloodbath. The transports had successfully reached the island and had begun disembarking the Greenland marines when all hell broke loose and Cochin forces began firing upon the men. The landing craft were careful to ensure they landed on a part of the coast that was more or less secured by Greenland troops already stationed on the island, however they came under heavy fire from the Cochin air assaults and ground forces which had turned up in number. The transports were on the beach and staying on them meant certain suicide, so the troops knew the only way to come out alive would be too quickly secure a beachhead and take cover from the foreign airships. The Greenland men scattered in their squad groups and began to engage the enemy ground forces. Using the rocky Tristan terrain as cover, the Greenland forces sought to establish and secure their beachhead in order to create a permanent presence on the island.

Over 150 men died during the landings and another 45 died during subsequent engagements. Slightly more than 200 were wounded and most of the wounded would be transported back behind cover where they would be tended by the battlefield medics. Those that were only slightly injured returned to the front lines and helped their Greenlandic brothers return fire. However, the aircraft were the biggest nuisance to the ground forces and the ground commander radioed to the nearby friendly vessels asking for immediate air support to engage and destroy enemy aircraft. In addition, coordinates of Cochin forces would be relayed to the fleet so that naval guns could provide the necessary firepower to push back the Cochin forces. Satellite imaging would pinpoint other targets of interest including command structures and armored units for the naval cannons to destroy.

Immediately upon the cease fire being declared, Royal Cochin Defense Forces's C5ISR networks worked into action, relaying the information to the lowest tactical level of the Cochin forces in Tristan da Cunha. The aerial units would be the first to comply with the gunships and Aerial Artillery Platforms ceasing fire and moving on to Cochin controlled airspace and waters. The RCAF squadrons would continue to loiter and maintaining Combat Air Patrol. The naval assets would hold position except for the missile boats which would move towards Cochin controlled beachheads. The message on the Cochin cease fire would be relayed by hastily erected loudspeaker poles by the 3/2/4 Marine Division.

Our deployments to our Central Asian provinces have been as a response to massive GNED deployments to the sector coupled with their historic hostile postures against us and antagonistic deployments in other sectors. Rest assured, Cochin would not escalate tensions in Central Asia but we do have to secure our defenses. The Kingdom has no hostile plans regarding Greater Nordic Empire of Dalmatia. Unfortunately assumption of vice versa would be too much of a fallacy in the present scheme of things.

The HNS Athena had moved in position just as the ceasefire was announced, against better judgement of the captain orders were issued to not engage the gunships that were retreating. For now the Atlantic Fleet would assume a defensive position near the islands but still spread out enough for a single attack of whatever weapon to not take down more than one ship at once.

Almost all of the ships maintained at the maximum distance to be effective with the HNS Heracles, a Command ship, establishing a position where both its detection systems and command functions would work best. In essence the goal was to track everything that happened on the ground, air and sea using the ships systems and satellite information from satellites in position.

Finally 2 F-99 squadrons were launched and patrolling the edge of islands' airspace, should they detect any further attacks on Greenlandic forces by air they had permission to shoot the enemy aircraft down.

Battlegroup Illustrious, the first British fleet on scene would drop anchor 100nm north of Tristan da Cunha. HMS Illustrious and HMS Nelson remained at the center of the formation with a mile between them both. The battlecruisers were next in an all round defence formation providing close anti missile and anti air defence aswell a heavy firepower to combat any surface combatant. The Horizon class frigate and type 45 air defence destroyers took point on the far left and right flanks of the fleet with the Zumwalt destroyer taking point in the forward center point. The Hunderchild frigate positioned itself at the rear of the fleet, as did the two Belfast class battleships. The three Elsden class corvettes positioned themselves in 3 different points of defence around the fleet to fill any holes. The Astute class submarine sailed away from the battlegroup and went into silent mode a few miles away to moniter and offer assistance if needed. The eight Britannia class carriers were placed at what to the naked eye, looked like random intervals, but to the Admiral, filled in the final few holes in the formation.

The aircraft on the carriers were kept on deck, but four E2D advanced Hawkeyes were launched to give an early warning to any incoming aircraft towards the fleet. The various helicopters the other ships sported began lifting off and patrolling around the fleet with ASW hardware to defend against submerged attack whilst the Thunderchild class frigate began sweeping the ocean for submarine forces.

If Cochin or Sri Lankan came within 50nm of the fleet, they would get the good news in all shapes, sizes and calibers.

Just reference for what im playing with here.

-x2 Guided Missile Battlecruiser
-x1 Zumwalt Class Destroyer
-x1 Horizon Class Frigate

-x1 Type 45 Class Destroyer

-x8 Britannia Class Helicopter Carriers

FROM: Office of the August Imperator
SUBJECT: Regarding the Nordic Deployment
BODY:

With due respect. The Nords just suffered a rather brutal rebellion in their Kazakh province. Our sources have confirmed the rebels have attempted the assassination of Michael Visari, threatened the use of chemical weapons, and engaged in massacres of civilians along the Transcaucus Canal. We believe this deployment has much more to do with ensuring the internal affairs of the Nordic territories are stable and order is restored there. We urge the KoC to maintain contact with the Nords to avoid misunderstandings. We've told you in the past we are happy to facilitate that. [/quote]

Royal Navy ships in the area began withdrawing back to their original mission. Illustrious battlegroup stayed on station with the Greenland forces until everything was finalised.

"Greenland accepts handing over the Tristan da Cunha islands group to African protectorate forces and has begun withdrawing all troops from the island. We will be in contact with Cochin for the compensation of the Greenland troops killed in the line of duty. Additionally, we request to the African forces that Greenland be allowed to erect a memorial on the beachhead where more than four hundred of our men perished."

And with that, the conflict was over. The dead would be brought back along with the troops which would make their way back to Sao Tome. The last of the Greenland troops on the island would wait until Mogatopia, Novak, and Arctican forces had landed on the island to assume protectorate responsibilities before leaving.

A small fleet off the coast of Novak, including a carrier, and a division of men were sent to the islands to assume protection responsibilities as soon as possible.

With the threat of war lower, possibly gone, the CBG 04 was recalled to Sri Lanka, though CBG 03 would be ordered to South Georgia to help with constructing a powerful OTH radar station.
Further construction would be ordered if necessary, but that was it for the time being.

As the Greenland troops start withdrawing the 3/2/4 MAR Battalion would also start redeploying with larger troop reduction to start with and then keeping pace with Greenlandic withdrawal. Diplomats from Ministry of External Affairs would travel to Greenland to facilitate the compensation for the martyred Greenland soldiers. Ministry of External Affairs would also send diplomats to Mogatopia, Novak and Arctica to hand over an amount of CRs. 1 Billion as compensation to be distributed to the people of Tristan da Cunha for the destruction and loss of livelihood meted to their island during the short term conflict. The forces would deployed would return to their normal duty stations. St Helena would remain alert due to the presence of ostensibly hostile naval units in the region.

MoG[Corp] forces, entirely unarmed would arrive by helicopter onto the island, and an EEZ of 20 miles would be established outside of Gough Island, Inaccessible Island, and the Nightingale Islands, to ensure the safety of wildlife in the area, all naval vessels in the area are asked to remain away from these islands in order to ensure the safety of the wildlife in the area, Tristan da Cunha, however, is accessible to every nation for refueling purposes.
