Red Defense Coalition has been created to protect nations in planet bob. We are looking forward to getting to know alliances around Planet Bob. Red Defense Coalition is controlled by a democratic government. [quote]Charter of the Red Defense Coalition Preamble We, the people of Red Defense Coalition, proudly serve our Coalition. We will build each other politically, economically, and militaristically. Red Defense Coalition's purpose is promoting Unity, Liberty, Peace, Stability, Equality, and Justice under the rule of law. We, the people of Red Defense Coalition, STAND by our fellow members AND our allies. Article One: Membership To be eligible for membership within RDC, the following must be met. 1.1. The nation must not be in any aggressive wars, if the nation has defensive wars they will be reviewed on a case to case basis. If the defensive wars were in retaliation to previous aggressive wars the nation will be denied membership. 1.2. The nation and person must not be on any PZI, or ZI lists 1.3. The nation must not already be a member of another alliance If the above is confirmed then the nation must fill out an application on the forums. All nations are encouraged to join the red team, but all applicants may apply for an exemption and will be reviewed by the Secretary of Interior Affairs. Article Two: Government of the Coalition 2.1. The Government shall consist of the following positions: - General: Sovereign of the Coalition, Head of State and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces - Secretary General: Appointed by the General and Second in Command of the Coalition - Secretary of Internal Affairs: Operates and monitors the internal workings of the coalition, and responsible for recruiting new nations into the Coalition. Has the authority to appoint Deputies to assist in his or her own duties. - Secretary of Foreign Affairs: Oversees the foreign affairs of the Coalition. Is responsible for building new relations, and maintaining current relations with treaty holding alliances. Has the authority to appoint Deputies to assist in his or her own duties. - Secretary of War: Responsible for organizing the wars within the Coalition. Responsible with analyzing all new wars against and initiated by the Coalition. Has the power to send troops into battle when deemed necessary. The Secretary of War shall determine medals and awards for conduct of engaged members in war. Has the authority to appoint Deputies to assist in his or her own duties. - Secretary of Finance: Responsible for the finances of the Coalition. Responsible for organizing tech deals, trade circles and receiving and sending aid to all nations who qualify. Has the authority to appoint Deputies to assist in his or her own duties. 2.2. The General shall possess the sole power to set policy, enact legislation, declare war, appoint and dismiss Officers of State, enter into binding treaties with foreign powers, grant pardons, confer honors and awards, and approve amendments to the Charter. 2.3. The Secretary General, in the General's absence, shall possess the authority of the General, except the power to declare war (unless obligated to do so by treaty). 2.4. The General shall appoint his/her successor. Should a vacancy occur in the Leadership without a successor having been designated, the Secretaries shall vote upon a new General. Article Three: Conduct of Members in the Coalition 3.1. All members of the Coalition are required to act in accordence with the preamble/creed of the Coalition. All members are also expected to further their nations for the betterment of the Coalition as a whole and themselves in the best way possible. 3.2. All members are expected to act in the defense of the Coalition and its allies when called upon to do so. 3.3. All members are forbidden from entering into any hostile action without permission. 3.4. The alliance may, at its discretion, refuse military and/or financial aid to any member nation involved in a war in which that member was deemed to be the aggressor. 3.5. Members may not leave the Coalition if money or tech is owed, nor may they leave if the Coalition is in a state of war. 3.6. Members wishing to resign, and who also meet the guidelines of article three, subsection five, may do so upon completing a resignation on the forums. Article Four: Tech Raiding 4.1. Members are required under all circumstances to receive permission from the Secretary of War before beginning any tech raid. 4.2. Members must never raid any nation with an alliance affiliation, nor any members of the red team 4.3. Members tech raid at their own risk, and will not receive aid if sent into anarchy. Red Defense Coalition reserves the right, but are not obligated, to come to the aid of Invicta should Invicta become involved in a conflict. Intervention may also be rendered in the form of diplomatic support, financial aid, and public statements of support. Article Two: Tech Deals Red Defense Coalition agrees to participate in tech deals with Invicta nations, with assistance from Invicta’s finance personnel, on Invicta's forums. Article Three: Adviser Invicta shall dispatch from its government an adviser to assist in the development of Red Defense Coalition. The adviser shall act as Invicta’s ambassador and facilitate communication between the two governments. Additionally, all treaties proposed to or by Red Defense Coalition mandating mutual defense or stronger stipulations must receive approval from Invicta government prior to going into effect, by way of the signature of the adviser and either the President or Vice President of Invicta. Article Four: Evaluation This pact shall last for 90 days, after which time Invicta and Red Defense Coalition shall review this treaty.
