With the Bourbon administration in control of New Spain many potential avenues of profit lay in front of the country. Chief among those however were the restoration of dormant facilities throughout the countryside of long-past administrations and governments who controlled the area. King Enrique has ordered these facilities to be "restored and re-secured for the Glory of the Kingdom". Months of work on these facilities and many more soon to be freshly built now stand as a testament of the Divine providence and strength of the Bourbon administration. Estimated completion time ranges from project to project.

[b]Fallout Shelter System[/b]: An expansive system of nuclear shelters have been constructed within major population centers within New Spain. Detailed specifications are unavailable at this time.

[b]The Royal Museum[/b]: A large facility has been built within the capital to hold various works of art, literature, and science for the viewing pleasure of the Citizens of New Spain.

[b]The Cathedral Of God: [/b]A majestic cathedral has been constructed to honor the lord savior of the King and man under Catholic faith.

[b]The University of Guadalajara[/b]: Serves as a bastion of thinking within New Spain producing many technological advances in various fields. Albeit it is not without controversy at times clashing with the church over many issues.

[b]Hidden Nuclear Missile Silo[/b]: Various silos have been constructed throughout the nation housing nuclear ICBM's in hidden locations to maintain launching capabilities in case of nuclear conflict.

[b]Internet[/b]: In a modern economy and world, the internet use has become as common as speaking, eating, or sleeping. Recognizing this as a motive the government has constructed land-lines to every building in New Spain offering unprecedented internet access.

[b]National Transportation System[/b]: An initiative has begun to expand roads to every city, town, and village in New Spain constructing vast interstate road-ways to connect major areas of importance as well as expanding air and harbor facilities to increase the amount of viable traffic and capability.

[b]Manhattan Project[/b]: A massive undertaking was completed to restart nuclear facilities with New Spain to produce nuclear power and weaponized nuclear materials.

[b]Mining Industry Consortium[/b]: Previously a variety of companies vied for mining rights on lucrative national resource fields, most of these companies however lacked the technology to efficiently maintain mining standards leading to a monopoly being formed under General Dynamics INC. Employing advanced mining technology and techniques they have increased output by 158%.

[b]Mexico Film Industries[/b]: A pioneering group has formed leading the way for New Spain film arts producing a plethora of films and propaganda pieces to complement the Bourbon dynasty as well as entertain citizens.

[b]Moon Facilities[/b]: New Spain proudly holds a colony of over 7000 citizens in Space planting it's banner in the name of New Spain while simultaneously managing and maintaining a mining operation and space-base for further lab testing and space exploration.

[b]Royal Research Lab[/b]: Serves as the largest single research facility in New Spain, housing the largest concentration of lab equipment to serve a variety of testing. It further serves as the largest producer of pharmaceuticals in the country while also leading the way in psychological, biological, research.

[b]National War Memorial[/b]: A massive area just outside of the capital has been set aside to serve as the grounds for a series of monuments to be erected in honor of the nations fallen soldiers. Every war shall be honored with a monument towards it's debtors.

[b]Nuclear Power Plant[/b]: 20 Generation 4 Nuclear power plants have been constructed at varying location within New Spain to provide clean, available energy to cities within the nation. Due to their technology radioactive waste can be recycled into a less harmful isotopes and generally given to the military to produce depleted uranium shells.

[b]Pentagon[/b]: New Spain has a central military complex used to serve as a main junction in the delegation and orders of their various military branches. It is located under-ground in an undisclosed location somewhere within the country.

[b]Social Security System[/b]: A robust social security system is in place for retiring or disabled citizens in New Spain to continue functioning with a generous pension and health-care.

[b]Space Program[/b]: The New Spain Space Agency (NSAA) is tasked with seeing the exploration of space, designing space-based equipment and technology, as well as overseeing Space based colonies in New Spain. It is centered within Guadalajara.

[b]Strategic Defense Initiative[/b]: New Spain posses an array of measures to cast a protective umbrella over the country from Nuclear ordinance culminated within the Strategic Defense agency.

[b]Stock Market[/b]: Located within Guadalajara the economic capital of the nation is host to various banking and market functions strengthening the nation through international and domestic trading.

[b]Universal Health Care[/b]: Due to the expansive economy of New Spain it has afforded it's citizens with Universal Health Care by instituting a general tax that is subsidized by the government that allows it's citizens to buy into generous plans of insurance and medical coverage.

[b]Stock Prices Soaring![/b]
New Spain seems to be enthralled with a post-regime economic boom as it's stock rates soar through the roofs. The new-found stability of the Bourbon dynasty has brought consumer confidence to new heights that have expanded the general trading rates for citizens and corporate big-wigs alike. Although there are some slight concerns that this boom may be facetious and this bubble of success may burst if the country does not continue to foster this pro-business sentiment that has swept the country. King Enrique Bourbon has yet to solidify a solid economic policy for the nation to follow.

[b]A New Scourge[/b]
The Church of New Spain has seen it fit to declare war against the various pagan and animist religions that have long been withheld in the mountains and rural areas. A prominent church official remarked their influence is "a blight on New Spain" and that until it is eliminated from New Spain the country cannot truly reach it's religious and spiritual evolution.

[b]Population Boom[/b]
Given the economic opportunities New Spain is seeing a rising in immigration rates as well as increases in domestic population as families can now afford to grow at larger numbers. Experts warn however that as the nation continues to grow in economic strength that families will shrink and birth-rates decline...as most social economic models have illustrated with other countries going through growth from a secondary power to a primary power in the world.

King Enrique Bourbon has issued a decree calling for the creation of a new army to serve New Spain. Old units and men will be reorganized into newer units and old equipment will be kept and maintained as a reserve surplus in national armories. Furthermore, any men unemployed will be placed into the military and used to fill the ranks. The recruitment goal has been set at a infantry force numbering over one million men and women to serve in the military...600,000 serving in active duty while another 400,000 serve in reserve roles. To coincide with the large influx of soldiers in the army the "Metal-Works" as it is nicknamed will be working heavily on improving new technologies and equipment for the army to create a new generation of weapons for the forces of New Spain.

[b]Weapons Manufactures Growing[/b]
With the new national focus geared towards providing a cutting-edge modern army to New Spain there has been large growth in the arms industry native to New Spain. Various renowned manufacturers have began moving their place of business into New Spain providing an influx of new jobs to stimulate the economy and provide citizens with new job opportunities. It is rumored that some of the manufacturers include Stark Industries, General Dynamics, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and more. If the government continues to subsidize and encourage this industry to grow it will attract these high-ticket and renowned producers.

[b]Shipbuilding Boom[/b]
In Tampico & Mazatlan both cities have seen a surge in job creation due to their harbors, drydocks, and shipping yards receiving new production orders and trade from around the world. Chiefly the construction of national armadas being centered in these two locations for both the Gulf & Pacific fleets is creating a economic boom for the regions. Various towns and villages have begun emigrating to the cities to take new jobs in the ship-building industry leading to these cities growing immensely as well as becoming the nations biggest and most productive ports. Tampico centered on the eastern coast bordering the Gulf of Mexico serves as the base of seafaring for that area of the coast while Mazatlan serves in that respective role for the western coast into the Pacific ocean.

In the last month New Spain has seen it's standing in the world increased by solidifying it's political ties to two of the worlds strongest powers. King Enrique personally flew to Spain in order to convene with family and friends; this included Valerio Bourbon Emperor of the West in the Athenian Federation. Needless to say the two hit it off and rekindled old family bonds that resulted in a union of the two states through a MADP treaty and land acquisition of areas in Antartica as well as basing rights in the southern tip of Portugal. More importantly as a result of this alliance New Spain has gained access to some of the worlds most vaunted military technology; the F-99 Phoenix a 6th generation multi-role stealth fighter from Athenian Airbus Industries will be forming the mainstay of the New Spanish Air Force and an important note is that purchasing has been authorized for the full craft itself, not export models... With plans for Airbus Industries to construct factories and production lines of this and other air-craft within New Spain. In addition to this New Spain has gained the M1 Cerberus main battle tank from Athens which is one of the newest generation tanks in the world sporting a myriad of electronic countermeasures to disable any missiles in flight giving the Cerberus unparalleled protection from hostiles.

Emilo Bourbon has also returned from a mission to the United Federation of the East with equally fruitful results that have borne an MADP treaty and ownership o[color="#1c2837"]f the Kenai Peninsula & Kodiak Islands in Alaska. With these gains New Spain has a doorway into the Pacific Northwest to secure trade and serve as a central port for trading abroad. Plans are being made to develop these lands into a thriving outpost and increase the tactical position of it by constructing basing facilities on it. While the treaty itself lays the groundwork for expanding cooperation with the United Federation of the East a key player in world affairs which will undoubtedly be a key ally in future matters.[/color]

Article I: Sovereignty & Nonaggression
Signatories of this pact will recognize one another as sovereign nations and take no actions that may violate this fact. Signatories also agree to establish a policy of non-aggression. Neither signatory will launch military, political, economic, or covert operations against the other.

Article II: Economic Cooperation
Signatories of this pact agree to Open Borders between countries and free trade with one another to promote economic vitality and strength. Neither will levy taxes, tariffs, or any other damaging economic or trading measures. Signatories consent to have an fixed rate of currency exchange at a 1:1 ratio insuring either currency is valued and viable for trade between nations so that neither may have an advantage over the other in trade.

Article III: Intelligence Cooperation
Signatories of this pact are required to share any Intelligence information that may be of interest to the other party and assist the other in operational intelligence capacities. If either find out any information of an impending foreign or domestic threat they are required to inform the other. Furthermore both agree to assist each other in the development of information assurance and cryptologic assistance.

Article IV: Mutual Assault & Defense
Signatories of this pact are required to act in support of one another in both offensive and defensive ventures this is including but not limited to full military, intelligence, economic, and political support. An attack on one will be considered an attack on both while conversely a Declaration of War by one will be considered an Declaration of War by both parties. Before any Offensive measures are taken signatories must notify one another of the impending operation and mutually consent to the attack. Both parties further agree to mutually allow military access to bases within either country to increase cooperation in military conflicts during wartime.

Article V: Land Leasing
The Kingdom of New Spain agrees to the leasing of base facilities in San Bias to The Athenian Federation for a period of 999 Years. The Athenian Federation agrees to the leasing of base facilities in Tavira for a period of 999 Years. Both Bases will be considered sovereign territory of the other country during this period of time and allow for military personal to be places their during Peacetime & Wartime. The Athenian Federation also agrees to lease a portion of land within Antarctica for a period of 999 years. Should the leasing period of these agreements expire either country may file for an extension.

Article VI: Cancellation
Due to the nature of this pact either signatory may cancel this treaty at any time provided they give the other party 7 days notice (RL). During this period of time all articles will be valid. Afterword another 31 days (RL) will be extended as period of Non-Aggression between signatories. Base leasing agreements will still be upheld for the period of 31 days allowing parties to remove any military personal or equipment.

Recently work has begun to retrace the lineages of all members of the Royalty and Nobility to their historical houses and lineages in Spain proper. Utilizing DNA, public data records, and other means historians seek to rediscover the heritage of many influential men and women of New Spain so as to grant them appropriate dues and honors in the new land. It will be a particularly painful process for the various understudies being employed to handle the menial tasks of composing and storing this information. However many families in New Spain are excited by discovering they're ties to potential dynastic claims or titles. King Enrique Bourbon himself has been quoted to be "very excited to have his titles reaffirmed" while also remaining "extremely curious" to rediscover otherwise lost members of his family in the annals of history.
