I'm taking out those children soon, the way they will be leaving is classified. Hopefully these children aren't the individuals you are looking for. That leaves the number of human beings that aren't in either of our armies to 116. I know for a fact that no terrorists are there. However you seem to strongly believe so. I wanted you to send in a representative/specialist to talk to each of my citizens and see if they are who you are looking for - you denied the request. I ask for a list - you deny the request. I have already budged by making these offers. You can either stay in your position and get nothing, I am sure that will make your leaders happy, or you can compromise and we can actually accomplish something. By now most of the Atlantic Fleet started moving in the general area between France and the British Isles. To the outsider it would very hard to truly see their intent and effort was taken to prevent anyone from knowing what the plan was. Most of the B-10s in the Western Athenian Federation were fueled and constant satellite images of all fleets involved would be processed by military commanders. In what seemed like a chaos however one pattern could be found, the ships were maintaining a hostile position against any non-European parties with no direct interest.

The declaration of the closing of British waters had closed the northern access route to the capital of United States of Islands, ie, Douglas in the Isle of Man. Accordingly the frigate CNS Guderian which was deployed to Isle of Man had to retrace its route and had now sailed West off Ireland through Atlantic Ocean to reach the junction between Celtic Sea and Irish Sea in international waters. Here the CNS Guderian would maintain station to proceed in a brisk pace towards Douglas if at all Slavorussia attacked Douglas. Otherwise it would keep respecting the British blockade. In a European conflict, an Asian nation like Cochin would only be a hinderance, however alliances would still have to be honored. The Kingdom knows that there are forces in the region that may not like Cochin presence in Europe so a very diplomatic game is being played.

Meanwhile in USTA, the 2/7 Armored Cavalry Regiment has formed itself ready for combat action. While the 2/1/4IR Battalion is in the forefront of defensive encampment, the 2/7ACR brigade is in the rear to provide rapid shock and awe against the Slavorussians if they threatened to attack. With the defensive situation consolidating, the remaining Battalions of the 1/4IR Brigade are also being deployed to USTA from Gangothri.

As the diplomatic negotiations are going on between United States of the Islands, the RCDF deployments in USTA have strengthened themselves. The First Brigade of 4th Infantry Regiment and the Second Brigade of the 7th Armored Cavalry Regiment are hunkered down with more automated security solutions replacing the human defenses laid out by the 1/4IR. The materiel stockpile has also been completed and the RCDF deployment in USTA is ready for a sustained high intensity combat if necessary with the Slavorussian deployments. Meanwhile Royal Cochin Navy's warships are continuing the maritime defense of USTA coastline preparing to enforce a blockade against Slavorussia towards USTA, if found necessary.

"No I can assure you I have been briefed on the situation, Representative. Can you explain to me why terrorists fighting for a now defunct state would go to Antarctica when said state was still in existence and not even at war with you, act as scientists for several months, suddenly decided that is was time to strike you when the Torunian state collapsed, and recently fund some terrorist organizations with a currency that is now totally worthless? Also how would terrorists make their way to a secure research station that was not open to the public - not at the time before you both started fighting and not now when my military controlled the borders ?

We have checked things like this Representative. They all had Torunian currency on them, not a dollar of foreign currency was in their Research Facility except for the cash our soldiers had in USI dollars and a few USI coins. Also no one has entered the facility, for the exception of my men in the last few months. Luxury electronics went down not long after the Torunians started to neglect their facility because the generators no longer had fuel. The electric windmills we brought could only sustain the most basic electronic radios and a few heaters. How could they even make communications with Europe when there wasn't a cell tower in sight? They didn't even have bloody satellite phones.

Now Representative I would love to hear your answers to these questions since you are so 'briefed on the situation'. The three of us would be honored to hear what you have to say - tell us why I, all of the intelligence resources of the USI, and my entire military are wrong."

Your wild assumptions have no basis in any statements or documents relating to this situation, so I can only speculate as to how you have come up with them. To answer your first question, you haven’t detected for several reasons. First, a terrorist does what he does with such efficiency because he can blend into society. Thousands of them walk among their enemies every day without being detected. Secondly, perhaps they didn’t infiltrate the facility without your knowledge, because they’ve always been there, as scientists and only once their government fell did they begin to engage in felonious activities.

As to your other questions, they are not funding terrorist activities with hard cash, sir. They are sending money electronically through a series of foreign bank accounts. And as far as communicating with the outside world, have you ever heard of an invention called the radio?

I am trying to get you to understand that all that is there are a few quick-build buildings to house the scientists temporarily, and one for my original men. Then there was a building created to be the temporary town hall essentially. There are no large buildings there with high tech computers. Scientific research had not even begun. All that was there was enough buildings to store materials and be able to house men to build that facility. I am trying to get you to understand that. That generators that were running most of the power grid went offline a few days once the Torunians forgot about it. My own men had only ham-radios because they thought the Torunians would have communications covered. There were no internet connections and not many electronic devices. I don't see how what any of what you are saying is possible but like you said you can't believe me.

Representative I know for a fact that there is no way that any of the civilians there are terrorists or even have military training. I am certainly not against you Representative.
