Black Operations were rarely this large in scale, but large scale operations would be paramount to the success of the operation. The intercontinental cruise missiles for the role had been transferred to the Fort Beihai Facility. This was because forces launched from Fort Beihai, were largely untraceable. Especially units with reduced RCS profiles. To the East was Vauleyo an MADP ally, and to the West were inept Canadian regimes, and the most sparsely populated areas of Greenland. By the time things showed up on radar over the North Atlantic, nobody could know who it was.

The falcon missiles' payload were a new highly addictive aerosolized chemical weapon that when dispersed at high altitude produced a near instant addiction to opiates. Twelve of the missiles were launched from the runways of the Alaska base, flying into the upper atmosphere detonating their scram jets, to accelerate over the open Polar Region, and only showing up on English radar as they bore down on their cities at near Mach 16 speed. 3 weapons would move towards London for an air burst, 3 would move towards Edinburgh, 3 towards Birmingham, and 3 towards Manchester. Targets of the attack would be well known government and financial district areas.

Who knew though... maybe Britain's own opium epidemic would create a game as entertaining for China as soccer was for the Brits!

Due to the nature of these attacks The Kingdom of Burma shall begin a blockade of all shipping into their land, sea, and airways and further security measures will be taken to increase security within the country itself by Burmese peace-keepers. Emperor Theippan was keen on preventing any sort of chemical weaponry of this nature being taken into Burma to potentially afflict their citizens with an opiate addiction.

SKYNET detected the incoming objects as they came over the Polar region, radar in Svalbard and Franz Josef Land tracked them with intense difficulty, their signatures intermittant on the screens. The Satellites had an esier job due to the heat signatures but their speed itself voided any advantage they might have given the defences. The alarm was raised and sirens blared across Britain as people ran into buildings and houses and donned the manditory NBC suits all buildings were required to store.

HELLAD systems in Svalbard were the first to try and shoot down the incoming targets but had limited success shooting down only two missiles. The HELLADs systems mounted on British aircraft in the north sea and arctic circle shot down a further three. Patriot missile defences in the Scottish Isles shot down one more missile before they passed out of range. The incoming missiles velocity was defeating the SKYNET system.

The missiles detonated over Manchester, Birmingham and Edinbourgh has the theatre missile defence THAAD systems failed to stop them. London was saved. One missile detonated over Manchester, three over Edinbourgh and two over Birmingham.

The three or four minutes the people of Britain had to find cover and get protected was more than enough for the most part. The people not able to get into the suits fast enough were still protected by the gas masks which would prevent breathing in the chemical agent.

During the attack Britain was being battered by gale force winds of up to 60mph and domestic damage was being done by the winds, however it also helped save alot of lives by catching the agent and blowing it eastwards out over the North Sea.

The agent that did get to ground level caused minimal damage to the population. Birmingham and Edinbourgh, cities well known in the UK to have serious drug problems were largely unaffected as many of the smack addicts got a free hit. Those who didnt suffer opiate addiction stayed in their homes after realising the attack wasnt a nerve agent.

Hours after the attack as British forces were mobilised to the affected cities, thousands of people across all three cities, perhaps 30,000 across the country, began making their way to pharmacies and supermarkets for drugs and munch. Soldiers were under orders to detain people suspected of being affected by the attack and place them in massive field hospitals being thrown up around the cities. The detained victims would be restrained to medical beds and stretchers and forced through a rapid detox treatment. It would take weeks to track down the full number of victims and millions of pounds but it would be done, hell, they might even catch people who were previously addicted and clean them up.

High winds blew most of the substance east out over the North Sea, but unfortunately, limited quantities made it to ground level.
Thankfully, British Law dictates all buildings in usage for commercial, industrial, public or domestic purposes are to have a manditory stock of level four NBC suits and gas masks.

We request on all Nations with territory in the Arctic circle to step forward and provide RADAR data for the past 24 hours to aid us in our investigation into who is responsible for this attack.

OOC: For reference for those who are arctic countries, the weapon system has RCS shaping, the only nation whose nearby with a radar that might have a chance of detecting it from it POI would briefly be Impy. Germany could detect it, but its not an ICBM and would move noticeably differently, so where it would come from would not be clear.

David sat calmly in his office. He was still in shorts and a tropical shirt – having been to lazy to change. The trip for Crete was outstanding if not marvelous however it was time for him to get back to his people. He was behind the oak desk that Robert had occupied for the past week and was happy to give up. No doubt Robert loved being in the Orange House, but he was caught off guard by getting some of the responsibilities of being the president. It had been a very difficult week. David just started to close his eyes when he heard the ominous wringing of bells. It was the red telephone. It served two purposes. It was a direct line to the King’s office in London, and it was a direct link to the missile defense system of the United States. He never got good news from either one so he was reluctant to answer.. but he had to.

David slowly reached at the phone and picked it up, “This is President O’Reilly.” On the other end it almost sounded like mayhem as people ran around, rushing with papers and cell phones trying to get information to each other. “Mr. President we have a group of bogies coming over the polar ice cap.” David rubbed his forehead and calmly said, “How many?” The man on the other end squinted his eyes and checked, “It’s hard to tell, it looks like under ten Mr. President.” David took out his iPhone and began to send a text message to Robert telling him to turn around and drive back to the Orange House – his vacation was going to be cut short. “In about thirty seconds I’ll be able to tell you where they are heading, but it seems like they are coming to the Isles sir.”
Both men were silent and suddenly the man spoke again, “It looks like they are heading to Great Britain Mr. President… Wait.. We have a few launches from The United Kingdom. I think it is either retaliation or the missile defense system. It seems like all the bogies are heading towards the UK sir.” A migraine erupted in David’s scull, “Are any heading for Ireland?” David could hear the nervous man typing on his keyboard, “No sir. I will call again if I get any-“ David interrupted him, “Call my cell if you get anything new.” David hung up the phone and began to turn around but he bumped into Aine who was still in his jean shorts and the revealing tank top he didn’t approve of. “..It’ll be okay sweetheart – they aren’t coming to us this time.”

Aine just silently went to David’s leather chair and sat, staring at him as he left the door to go to his room to change into his suit. Susan was inside the bathroom taking a shower. Once in his suit he snuck out of the bathroom as quietly as he had came in. Robert knocked on David’s door and walked in, “What’s wrong David?” David just turned him around and started walking, “Someone has opened fire on the British with missiles, we are about to go make a statement.” Robert gulped as David guided him to the press room. “O’Neil!” he yelled over to a one of his advisers, “Get me on the air in five minutes.” The adviser gulped and replied with a simple, “Yes Mr. President.”

David stood in front of the podium while Robert stood to his right. David closed his eyes for what only felt like a few moments but what turned out to be for four minutes. David reopened his eyes just as the red dot started to flash, “My fellow Islanders, I come into your living rooms today to tell you of a tragic event that is unfolding before our very eyes. The United Kingdom, more specifically the Isle of Great Britain is being attacked with strategic weapons of mass destruction. Let’s give those who are in danger a moment of silence..” Daivd looked down quietly with his hands folded for twenty seconds, “We will send aid, food, water, and all the help we can to our neighbors who so graciously helped us in our time of need. With the double punch of this and the death of their king, I can not imagine the trauma the British people are going through. I ask that tonight you pray for our British neighbors, because at times like this, we must settle our strongest differences to help one other. May God watch over all of us.” David stepped away from the podium and Robert silently followed.
David sent a message to the United Kingdom simply reading, “Aid on the way – Long live the king.”

The UFE had forgotten the presence on a nation which had the ability to detect the launch: The Koreans. The Cheonlian Reconnaissance Satellite System had just enough coverage to watch any abnormal happenings around the Bering Sea, and the detection of several large missile launches, allowed by the attacks in the United Kingdom, made the coincidence very suspicious. However, the Koreans had kept their mouths shut, not wanting to risk a possible break in relations with the UFE. The records were kept classified until they might be released when necessary.

Our investigation lead us to believe it could have been one of several nations with known advanced militaries, the Empire was one of these. Moreover the failed nuclear attack Britain by rogue elements of the Empire further made the Empire a suspect. Moreover your allegiance to the former state of Ireland, which was a hostile nation towards England, your anti British sentiments to the the Comminwealth of England and Maine all would make you a prime suspect in our investigations.

The chemical attack must have scrambled your brains, for your reasons are ludicrous. The Empire does not even have a blue water navy, yet you say we have an advanced military? In our heyday, yes, that would be the case. Now? If a nation with an advanced military can't even field a navy, nations without advanced militaries must still be fighting with spears and stones. To your next point, you invalidate it yourself in your very reasoning. "Rogue elements". The fact of the matter is that the current administration stopped those attacks, even authorizing a dangerous and risky mission to try and prevent their launching. The fact that you use this as reasoning is an insult to Agent York and his team who gave their lives to save yours. With your other reasons, you show yourself to be living in the past. "Allegiance to the FORMER state of Ireland", anti-British sentiment by the PREVIOUS administration. An administration, we might add, that is now dead.

We recommend that Britain stop living in the past, and instead focus on the present and the future. Otherwise, they won't see something coming for them until it has stabbed them in the back.

British satellites in the North American theatre began systematically taking images across Blue Heaven in search of military facilities and possible launch points. The satellites would take pictures of all of Blue Heaven and continue to do so until all surface military facilities, installations and possible launch points were mapped and pin pointed for possible military action.
