The Arab League is here

Why does every noob and their mother have to start an alliance without knowing what the hell they're doing?

Edit: Here's what you should do. Join an established alliance, learn the game, gain experience, make contacts. Don't try to create your own alliance until you know the game and the politics. If you just start your own alliance right off the bat without knowing anything you're pretty much bound to fail. I've seen this happen countless times. Good luck.

Hello, you must be new! 4 step process for building your own alliance.

You should probably hang out with an established alliance first, meet some folks and learn how to run things.

Be a fairly large country in your own right with a good amount of play time, that way people will respect your authority.

Communication is key! If you don't have a forum and IRC room, your alliance is generally not taken very seriously.

Protection pacts before formation are a must! If not you will suffer a horrible fate.
